Anil Kapoor doesn't want to play Sonam's father onscreen!

Though Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor share a great bond of affection in their real life, it would be equally strange to know that AK doesn't want to play her father in his reel life.

Yes, you heard that right! The actor had once turned down an offer to play Sonam's father onscreen.

A popular daily portal quoted a source who overheard a story of Anil Kapoor from Abhishek Bachchan.

The source revealed, "Abhishek had once accompanied directors Abbas Mastan to narrate a script (Players) to Kapoor. They wanted him to play father to Sonam. Anil retorted in horror "How can I play father to Sonam? The public will never accept me as the father of a grown up girl! " (sic)

Sharing more about the incident, Abhishek says, "I fell in love with him that day onwards!" (sic)

However, as per latest reports in media, Anil and his son Harshwardhan Kapoor might share screen space in an upcoming film.
