Amitabh is UPSET with media for commercializing Vinod Khanna's death

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is hurt due to the commercialization of Vinod Khanna's demise by the media.


Vinod Khanna's demise came as a shocking news for everyone. The legendary actor left for heavenly abode after fighting cancer for a long time. Post his death veteran actor Rishi Kapoor raised an issue about the young actors not having respect for the veterans!

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan got emotional during a promotional event of Sarkar 3, he said that he is upset with the media for commercializing Vinodji's death.

He narrated an incident wherein the senior journalists kept messaging him for his quote the moment news about Vinod Khanna's death broke in the media.

He further explained that by asking such questions the media only troubled him more at that sensitive moment.

Lastly, Big B urged the media to not commercialize such incidents as it's unkind.

He as well recalled an incident when actor Mehmood's son passed away and while he was carrying his son's body someone asked him to recite a funny dialogue!

People's perception about comedian is that they should make everyone laugh all the time, it's sad says Bachchan.

But, on the other hand, Big B also praised media's contribution during Uttarakhand flood and earthquake in Nepal. However, he has asked them to share the profits they receive which they get by the advertisements they play during the coverage.

On a concluding statement he also told media that he has nothing against them!
