Amita Khopkar Injured While Shooting For Tara From Satara

Senior actress Amita Khopkar who is known for her role in Tu Mera Hero recently joined the stellar cast of Sony TV’s latest offering Tara From Satara. Unfortunately, the actress while shooting for an upcoming sequence got herself injured.

As per reports, Amita was supposed to act injured for an upcoming sequence where a brick falls on her foot. However, the actress got her foot injured in reality. After the accident, she was immediately rushed to the hospital and was advised to take complete bed rest for a couple of days. Though Amita who portrays a cool grandmother in the show insisted on resuming the shoots, the production house made sure that she heals completely and gets the necessary rest.

Apart from Amita, there are many actors who sustained major injuries while filming for their respective projects. Faisal Khan collapsed from a horse and broke his leg during the shoot of Chandragupta Maurya. He underwent a complex surgery and had to quit Nach Baliye 9. Bigg Boss 12 Deepak Thakur suffered a shoulder injury during a task in MTV India’s Ace of Space 2.
