Amit Tandon: Separating was always a difficult decision

Wedding and separation is not rare in the industry but reuniting is. In 2009, Actor Amit Tandon got married to Dr. Ruby Kaur, a dermatologist by profession. Together, they have a daughter named Jiyana. The couple took a mutual decision to part ways in 2017 by applying for a divorce. 

Ruby was in the news for being arrested by the Dubai officials for allegedly threatening and misbehaving with Dubai Health Authorities and Amit flew Dubai to rescue the latter. Recently, Amit spoke to Indian media about his decision of giving a second thought to his marriage.

We got in touch with him and he spoke about his decision of reconciling his marriage and giving it a second chance after two years. He said, "I think life works in its own mysterious ways and sometimes destiny separates people. It also brings people back to one another. Separating was always a difficult decision and when we both realised that we would've been there for each other during even the worst phases of life and not just the good it made the decision of getting back easier."

Adding about second chances, Amit expressed, "It all depends and varies from couple to couple. In our case, I believe we were both good people who allowed other external factors to get in the way of our lives and as we mature and sometimes live without each other, we gain a greater appreciation of wanting to be together again." 

Further he added, "A child's happiness is the most important factor for any parent, but only when we both realized that we could grow and be together was that decision made."

Amit had begun his journey with Indian Idol season 1 and did some of the popular shows of time, including Dill Mill Gayye, Jeannie aur Juju, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Dil Deke Dekho and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki to name a few. Recently, the much talented actor released his single, 'Meri Akhiyaan' that crossed 3 Million views on YouTube within a short span of time.

Speaking to us about the same, Amit said, "I am super happy with how Meri Akhiyaan has turned out. Its actually nearing four million views and am grateful that the audience has shown me so much love after me being away from music for so long. I have had the song for quite some time and had even shot the video. I was waiting for the right moment to release it. It was a great experience."

He concluded, "I plan to be fully indulged and immersed in my music and have many songs ready to go. You can expect something from me every month in many different genres".

Seems like all good things are happening to Amit at this moment and we are happy for him. We wish him good luck and success ahead.
