Amid ongoing controversy, Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan have acquired properties in Mumbai valued at Rs 24.95 crore.

Amid rumors of separation from his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, along with Amitabh Bachchan, has reportedly purchased properties worth an astonishing Rs 24.95 crore in Mumbai.
As per a report by CNBC TV18, Abhishek has recently acquired these properties in Mulund West, with his father, Amitabh, acting as a co-investor in the ten properties.
The report, citing registration documents obtained by Square Yards, a real-estate platform, indicates that these properties are situated in Oberoi Realty’s upscale residential project, Eternia.
Out of the ten apartments, eight feature carpet areas of 1,049 square feet each, while the other two cover 912 square feet. Each transaction includes two car parking spaces.
The Bachchans are said to have paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.5 crore for these ten properties. Abhishek invested around Rs 14.77 crore for six apartments, while his 82-year-old father purchased four for approximately Rs 10.18 crore.
The report further noted that with this acquisition, the Bachchan family's real estate investments have soared to Rs 100 crore this year.
According to the aforementioned real-estate website, the Bachchan family's property portfolio is quite impressive. They have amassed about 0.19 million square feet of property in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with a total investment of ₹219 crore in the city's real estate.
This news comes amidst the separation rumors involving Abhishek and Aishwarya. Recently, Abhishek missed a family event with Aishwarya, which sparked speculation about their divorce among netizens. However, sources indicate that Abhishek is in Bhopal visiting his ailing maternal grandmother, Indira Bhaduri.
