Ali Fazal, the Bollywood actor, joyfully welcomed his first child, a daughter, with actress Richa Chadha on July 16 this year. The couple has been devotedly caring for their newborn. Despite work obligations, the Mirzapur actor has had to travel to various Indian cities and occasionally abroad, leaving his wife and daughter behind. During an interview in Lucknow, he expressed his longing for them, mentioning that fatherhood has brought him a profound spiritual journey.
In a chat with ETimes, the Khufiya actor shared that even while working, his thoughts are with his little one. Like any doting father, Ali Fazal is completely enamored with his daughter now, but in a positive way. Reflecting on his journey into fatherhood, he expressed, "the whole process of fatherhood has been a spiritual experience," highlighting the abundant learning it has brought. He acknowledged that fatherhood has brought him a sense of tranquility, saying, "Aap andar se sulajh jaate ho aur usey shabdon mein bayaan karna thoda mushkil hai." He mentioned that, just like his wife, actress Richa Chadha, he has also encountered sleepless nights since becoming a father.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Richa also shared about adjusting her plans and life around their two-month-old daughter's sleep schedule. Referring to the baby as a '4-kilo boss,' she mentioned they now follow her timetable. Reflecting on this new phase, she expressed that it's a time filled with novel experiences, from the highs of getting a full eight hours of sleep to the lows of fatigue and mental fog. Despite the challenges, she finds solace in the fact that everyone has come from a woman.
When Ali and Richa shared the news of their daughter's arrival by posting a picture of her tiny feet, they received heartfelt congratulations from numerous Bollywood stars. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Urmila Matondkar, Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhasker, Malaika Arora, Angad Bedi, Aditi Roy Hydari, Dia Mirza, Sayani Gupta, and many others extended their warm wishes as the couple embraced the beautiful journey of parenthood.
