Colors' most loved and running show Chotti Sarrdaarni has been taking quite a rift these days. Post the lead actress quitting the show, they have been approaching artists who can fit into the character. Quite recently, they had approached Akanksha Puri.
Actress Akanksha Puri has created a huge fan base in her last television outing, ‘Vighnaharta Ganesha.’ Since then, there was no looking back for her. She has been offered roles for music videos, web series and films down south. Not only that she has been approached to be a part of a reality show like Bigg Boss.
According to our sources, Akanksha was recently approached to play the lead in Choti Sarrdaarni. Though interested, Akanksha couldn’t give an imperative answer to it due to her work commitments.
We got an opportunity to speak to her on this, where she said,
“The love and admiration that you get when you work for daily soaps cannot be expressed in words. When approached for a replacement, for Chotti Sarrdaarni I was really not ready for it. Even in the past when I left my show ‘Vighnaharta Ganesha’, the show went off air soon. I was the face of the show for three years and a replacement has got to the end.”
She further added,
“Chotti Saardarrni has been a show which has been on running from the past few years. It will be really difficult for the audience to accept someone who has replaced that person. I would love to do Television in the future but replacing someone is not something I would want to do ever. “
Well, we wish to see more of Akanksha in the coming days. On the work front, Akanksha has been shooting for Randeep Hooda starrer Inspector Avinash and a few music videos, which are on the way in the coming days!
