Ajay Devgn to resume shooting in Goa for Drishyam 2: Reports

Ajay Devgn began filming for filmmaker Abhishek Pathak's Drishyam 2 in February of this year, and he shared the news on his social media accounts. Tabu began filming for the sequel recently, and was shortly joined by Akshaye Khanna. 

The actress said on Instagram, "Delighted to have a gem of an actor on board for #Drishyam2," with a photograph of herself and Akshaye. Now, reports have it that the film's leading guy, Ajay Devgn, will be shooting for the sequel in Goa starting tomorrow.

Ajay Devgn will continue filming for Drishyam 2 this week in Goa, according to a popular news portal. There will be a significant section of the film shot there. He'll be staying there for nearly a month. A minor section of the film will be shot in Mumbai later. In addition to Ajay, Tabu, and Akshay, Shriya Saran will play a significant part in the film.

Talking about the sequel of Drishyam, Ajay Devgn said in a statement,

"Drishyam was adored, and his story is legendary. With Drishyam 2, I'm thrilled to bring you another intriguing narrative. Vijay is a multifaceted character who presents a compelling story on screen. The filmmaker, Abhishek Pathak, has a unique vision for this picture. I'm eagerly anticipating Part 2, which will fill up the enormous shoes left by the first film, with people invested in the mystery and the characters."

Meanwhile, the Tanhaji actor has also been in talks with YRF for a superhero film. There has been widespread talk in the trade that the same has been put on the backburner. Devgn has also been working on a potential sequel to his 2012 comedy, Son of Sardaar.
