Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar & Ranveer Singh unite for 'Singham Again' as shoot begins

In a thrilling moment for fans of Bollywood's action-packed cop dramas, Rohit Shetty has officially launched the highly anticipated third installment of the "Singham" series. This exciting news came to light on September 16 when the powerhouse team of Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Rohit Shetty gathered at the prestigious YRF studios for a special mahurat shot. 

The event was marked by a traditional puja, and the filmmakers and actors excitedly shared glimpses of the auspicious occasion on social media.

Rohit Shetty, known for his knack for assembling impressive ensemble casts, took to social media to express his enthusiasm. He shared, "Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi... 12 years ago, when we made Singham, we never thought that it would evolve into a Cop Universe! Today, we embark on the journey of filming Singham Again, which marks the 5th film in our beloved cop franchise. ISME HUM APNI JAAN LAGA DENGE! BAS AAPKE PYAAR AUR DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI!" 

Well, Ajay Devgn, who has been an integral part of this Cop Universe from its inception, also shared his sentiments. He conveyed, "12 years ago, we gifted Indian Cinema its most iconic cinematic Cop Universe. With the enduring love we've received over the years, the force has only grown stronger, and the Singham family has expanded. Today, we unite to propel our beloved franchise forward with Singham Again!" 

While Ranveer Singh, celebrated for his portrayal of the flamboyant cop in "Simmba," eagerly anticipates reprising his beloved character. Sharing captivating photos from the mahurat, he expressed, "All set to reprise one of my most cherished roles from the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe - SIMMBA 👮🏻‍♂️ in #SinghamAgain! We seek your love and blessings for our new journey ♥️🙏🏽." 

Even though Akshay Kumar is currently in London, his spirit and enthusiasm for the project are undeniable. He mentioned, "Not in the country at the moment, absent from the frame in person but fully present in spirit. Can't wait to join you guys on the sets of #SinghamAgain! Sending my best wishes.
