Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had THIS reaction when a host asked her if Abhishek Bachchan and she fought daily

With reports of rumoured strife in the married life of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, all their old interviews are resurfacing on various platforms. The couple are now married for 17 long years. Their relationship started off as friends and grew stronger when they were filming for Guru. While the couple keep their personal lives quite guarded, they did say they would fight ‘every day’ in one of the early interviews after marriage. The Ghoomer actor said they were not heated fights but more like strong disagreements. 

In 2010, the couple admitted to Vogue India that they fought every day. After Aishwarya Rai said this, Abhishek Bachchan added that they were more like healthy arguments on things. He was quoted as saying, “But they’re more like disagreements, not fights. They’re not serious, they’re healthy. It’d be really boring otherwise.” The couple made separate entries at the mega Ambani wedding in 2024. While Abhishek Bachchan was with the Bachchan Parivaar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan just came with her daughter, Aaradhya. 

Later, Anupama Chopra asked Aishwarya Rai Bachchan about the 2010 interview. She said that Junior Bachchan told her that they felt like a newly wedded old couple. When the diva asked her to explain the meaning of that phrase. She said Abhishek Bachchan and she share a huge comfort level. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said the newly married aspect comes from this strong bond of friendship. 

When Chopra asked her if it was indeed true that Abhishek Bachchan and she fought daily, Aishwarya said, “That’s what I mean when I say that we have been together for like 10 years. We were normal from the beginning, even before marriage.” What she meant was that they had disagreements even when they were friends. The actor did share an anniversary post with his wife. It seems Abhishek Bachchan is stressed at the non-stop scrutiny and dissection of his married life. When he liked a post on a book on divorce, netizens and media assumed that he had confirmed his split from the actress. As per gossip sites, they are living separately now. It seems the actress and Aaradhya live with her mother, Vrinda Rai.
