In a recent press conference for their web series, The Night Manager season 2, Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, and Sobhita Dhulipala found themselves fielding questions about the much-anticipated film Aashiqui 3. Aditya, known for his role as Rahul Jaykar in Aashiqui 2, was asked about the possibility of his character's return in the upcoming installment.

Aditya quickly dismissed the idea, explaining that his character met a tragic end in the climax of Aashiqui 2. He humorously reminded everyone that Rahul had jumped off a bridge into the sea, implying that there was no way his character could make a comeback.
