In this industry where stars are often admired for their impeccable looks and sculpted physiques, actor Aditya Roy Kapur has opened up about his own moments of self-doubt and self-criticism. The handsome actor, known for his charming persona and good looks, revealed that despite the compliments he receives, there are days when he doesn't feel attractive.
In a candid conversation Aditya Roy Kapur shared his perspective on self-image and the pressures of looking good in the film industry. While fans swoon over his physique, the actor acknowledged that he, like anyone else, has his moments of insecurity.
"We are all so critical of ourselves and we constantly feel... oh, I am fat, oh, I am this, I am that when actually others feel that you are looking just fine. So, it is all about perspective, right? I am like anybody else. I have my days when I don’t feel good about myself or feel unattractive. I don’t have a six-pack all the time!" Aditya candidly admitted to E Times.

Aditya emphasized the importance of perspective and how self-criticism can affect one's self-image. He acknowledged that as an actor, there is a constant pressure to maintain a certain level of physical fitness. However, he also expressed his willingness to embrace diverse roles that may not require a chiseled physique.
The versatile actor cited examples from his filmography, including roles in movies like 'Kalank,' 'Ludo,' and 'Daawat-E-Ishq,' where his appearance wasn't the central focus. Aditya mentioned that he enjoys the diversity in his roles and wouldn't want to be confined to a particular image all the time.
Aditya Roy Kapur was last seen in the crime thriller series 'The Night Manager' season 2, where he played the role of Shantanu Sengupta alongside Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala. He is now gearing up for his next project, Anurag Basu’s 'Metro…In Dino,' in which he will share the screen with Sara Ali Khan.
