Actresses Monalisa and Sonyaa put on their dancing shoes

Actresses Monalisa (Antara Biswas)and Sonyaa who have been sizzling the small screen with their performances on StarPlus' show Nazar, will soon be seen putting on their dancing shoes. With the Navratri festivities in the background, the two daayans on the show will do a Dandiya face-off with with Vedashri and Pia.

Monalisa revealed "I love the festival of Navratri, especially playing garba and dandiya. As a dancer I have not been trained in this dance form and so I was really excited when I heard that there is an upcoming Dandiya performance on the show. The makers wanted to leave no stone unturned and wanted the act to look as authentic as possible. So I and Sonyaa insisted on taking up dance lessons so that we can learn the dance form professionally and give a perfect shot. We both had an amazing time learning and practising dandiya and we can't wait to see how viewers react to it."

Excited to perform alongside Monalisa, Sonyaa revealed, "At first I couldn't believe that I would be dancing with Monalisa since she is a fabulous dancer and knows the art very well. I really look upto her when it comes to acting and give your best performance on screen. While practising, she helped me with certain dance steps and I learnt a lot from her. Right from performing stunts to playing Dandiya on the show, Nazar has given me an opportunity to exploit my skills. I hope viewers enjoy the performance as much as we enjoyed shooting for it."

Viewers will witness a magnum opus Navratri event where things take a new turn and more secrets will be unravelled.
