Former Miss India runner-up, Manya Singh, recently received criticism for her remarks on television actors. During an ugly fight with Sreejita, Manya told her, "I was the ambassador of this country. What you are? TV actress? Shaitan (evil)."
Reacting to Manya's statement, during his first weekend appearance this season, Salman Khan had said, "Manya ke hisab se wo angaar hain aur baaki sab bhangaar hain (According to Manya, she is the best and others are trash)."
Many actors have criticized her remarks and now, actor Manraj Singh Sarma, who is currently seen in Ekta Kapoor's show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, shared his views about the remarks made by Manya.
Manraj is a popular name in the entertainment world. He was seen in ALT Balaji's web series Romil and Jugal, Abhay Season 1, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai Season 1 and Season 2 and many more. He has proved his worth in TV shows like Kaleerein, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya , Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai and many more.
Television is a big medium which entertains endless people each day. I wonder how could a person who represented India could talk like this? A person should have basic respect towards every profession, be it big or small.

Talking about the remarks made by Manya, Manraj said, "Television is a big medium which entertains endless people each day. I wonder how could a person who represented India could talk like this? A person should have basic respect towards every profession, be it big or small. And who are we to judge a profession? By saying things like What you are? just a TV actress? just shows your narrow mindedness."
Manraj further adds, "I am an actor who has worked in television as well. So I know what it takes to be one. We work 12-14 hours a day and it isn’t a cakewalk. So, downplaying an actor's work in any medium will not make you big or smart. Whatever Manya said was wrong and inappropriate. The funniest part is she mocked television actors on national television only. That shows the importance of television and its actors."
