Abhishek Nigam reacts on rumors of replacing Sheezan Khan in Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul

According to the media reports, there was news that Abhishek Nigam is slated to be the new Ali Baba as Sheezan Khan is currently in judicial custody. The future of Sheezan looks uncertain with his custody being extended, so the makers of the show have decided to find another lead.

The makers even revealed the new promo in which the lead face is not revealed. When media got in touch with Abhishek Nigam to know the truth about the new he revealed that, 

I have not started shooting. These are all rumours and I don't want to comment on this because I don't more rumours to come out. As of now its just a rumour. And yes, there is good project happening in future.

Amid rumours of the show getting shutdown, a channel official has confirmed that Alibaba -Dastaan-e-Kabul will continue and there are no plans of pulling it off air. The rumours started doing rounds after lead actor Tunisha Sharma was found dead on the sets of the show and Sheezan Khan, who featured opposite her in the show, was arrested in relation with her death.
