Abhijeet Sawant makes acting debut

The winner of the season-one of the 'Indian Idol', Abhijeet Sawant finally has decided to take the plunge. He makes his acting debut soon as he is all set to play the lead in 3S Creations' new venture, 'Lottery', a romantic thriller that will be directed by well known television director Hemant Prabhu.

The film was launched on November 15, 2007 and it was done with the recording of a song for the film at the 'Spectral Harmony'. The music is being composed by Santokh Singh (‘Channa ve ghar aaja ve…’ fame), who also makes his debut in feature films with this album.

Abhijeet will sing his own songs along with Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal and others. The screenplay is by Hemant Prabhu, dialogues are by Aadesh K.Arjun and cinematography is by Prakash Kutty. Other cast and credits are in the process of finalization. (SAMPURN)
