SAB TV’s popular show, Tenali Rama went through a leap in the story line and will now witness a change in the cast as well. Post leap, the show will witness the return of Tenali Rama’s wife, Sharda.

Earlier Niya Sharma played the role of Sharda. However, Niya left the serial as she didn’t want to play an elderly character. Aasiya Razi is to replace Niya and the fans can see the entry of new Sharda in the coming episodes.

Tenali Rama which airs on SAB TV, is the story of the poet Ramakrishna portrayed by Krishna Bharadwaj, who uses his wit to solve tricky problems. Aasiya Kazi was previously seen in television serials like Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Balika Vadhu and Hitler Didi.

WTH, as a fan of Assiya Kazi, I'm not happy with this role choice. I know it's been awhile since being on screen but I don't see the reward with this role.

I'll still respect her decision. UGH

Tenali Rama hardly shows the actresses from what I have noticed which is quite disappointing.

How can they cast a 27 year old to play 40+ character? Itni buddhi dikhti hai kya Aasiya? And we have several actress of 30+ who don't even want to be pregnant or play mom to a small kid ket alone playing mom for grown up. Looks like Aasiya had a bad struggling in TV industry that she had to play mom to a 26 year old man.
