Aanand L Rai reflects on Good Luck Jerry's first anniversary: A remarkable journey of love and laughter

After venturing into OTT with two well-received films, Haseen Dillruba and Atrangi Re, Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions added yet another successful film to its robust repertoire with Good Luck Jerry. The film, starring Jhanvi Kapoor in a titular role, rang in its first anniversary on July 29th, 2023. Jhanvi Kapoor portrayed the role of Jerry exquisitely, earning high praise for her exceptional performance. 

The Sidharth Sengupta directorial opened to great reviews from audiences and critics alike with its direct-to-digital release on Disney+ Hotstar last year.

Good Luck Jerry is an official remake of the hit 2018 Tamil film, Kolamaavu Kokila, Colour Yellow Productions co-produced this black comedy crime film with Lyca Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.

Dominating 2022's OTT landscape, the film also stood as the year's most-watched release, earning a flood of raving reviews.

Colour Yellow Production has several projects in the pipeline, including Jhimma 2, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, and Tere Ishk Mein, among others, lined up for release soon.
