Aamir Khan visits Kapoor residence with gf Gauri Spratt to offer condolences after Nirmal Kapoor’s demise

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was seen leaving Anil Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai, along with his girlfriend Gauri Spratt, to offer condolences after the sad demise of Anil’s mother, Nirmal Kapoor. The two were spotted by the media as they walked into the late Kapoor matriarch’s house to show emotional support to the grieving family.

A video that surfaced a few hours ago on social media captured Aamir and Gauri’s quiet entry into the Kapoor household. The couple kept a low profile, dressed in simple and respectful attire. They joined several other members of the film fraternity who were present to pay their respects. Earlier in the day, actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and Gauri Khan were also seen visiting the family.

Nirmal Kapoor, aged 90, passed away on 2nd May 2025 at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital due to age-related issues. Her final rites took place at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai. Close family members including her sons Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor, daughter Reena Marwah, and grandchildren Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor attended the funeral. The atmosphere was full of emotions as the family bid farewell to their beloved matriarch.

Aamir Khan, known for being private, quietly stood by the family during the difficult time. Gauri Spratt, who accompanied him, was seen offering support silently, standing respectfully beside Aamir throughout the visit.

Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor took to Instagram to announce a prayer meet for Nirmal Kapoor. His note read, “PRAYER MEET In loving memory of Nirmal Surinder Kapoor (27th September 1934 - 2nd May 2025) Join us in Prayer to honour a life well lived. Date: 5th May 2025. Venue: JW Marriott, Juhu. Time: 5.00 - 6.00 pm.”

Just last September, the family had celebrated Nirmal Kapoor’s 90th birthday with love and joy. Anil Kapoor had posted a touching message to honour his mother on that occasion, calling her the pillar of their family. Now, the family faces a deep loss, and the film industry stands by them in this tough moment.
