Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh to team up for an upcoming production - Report

In a significant development, actor Aamir Khan is all set to bring his magic to the silver screen after a sabbatical of nearly one and a half years. The actor is gearing up for a comeback with the movie 'Sitare Zameen Par,' which is scheduled to go into production in January. This exciting news has already generated much anticipation among his fans.

However, Aamir Khan's return is not limited to acting alone. He has multiple irons in the fire, especially in the realm of film production. Notably, Aamir Khan has recently locked in another new project under his production banner, and it comes with an exciting addition to the cast.

Aamir Khan has roped in actress Fatima Sana Shaikh for his next production venture. While the film remains untitled for now, it is said to be a light-hearted comedy drama that promises to entertain audiences with its unique storyline and characters. The film will feature a talented ensemble supporting cast alongside Fatima, adding depth and diversity to the project.

This upcoming film, under Aamir Khan's production, is set to be directed by Advait Chandan, a filmmaker who has previously worked with Aamir on 'Secret Superstar' and 'Laal Singh Chaddha.' The script is currently in the fine-tuning phase, ensuring that it delivers the right blend of humor and emotion. Production for this exciting venture is expected to kick off in the first quarter of the upcoming year, mentioned the reports. 

Interestingly, this collaboration between Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh is not the first time they have joined forces. Aamir had initially signed Fatima for the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film, 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey.' However, that project did not come to fruition. 

Aamir Khan has an impressive lineup as a producer. This includes completed projects like Kiran Rao's 'Laapataa Ladies' and Sunil Pandey's 'Pritam Pyaare.' Additionally, two more movies are poised to enter production shortly, with one of them being the remake of 'One Day,' starring Aamir's son, Junaid Khan, and the talented Sai Pallavi. The other project, 'Lahore, 1947,' directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, features the iconic Sunny Deol in the lead role.
