The 53^rd Fair One Annual Filmfare awards was the most exclusive event with the crème de la crème of the Hindi film industry attending the gala event walking the red carpet. Shahrukh and Saif - The S2 combination as they called themselves made a rocking entry on horseback and were received with equal fanfare by a bunch of excited cheerleaders. The heat of the evening could be felt at the venue, thanks to the razzmatazz, glitz and glamour of the event. The evening lived up to its promise of being a grand extravaganza for the Bollywood community as they gathered to cheer their colleagues and friends. The new heartthrob Neil Nitin Mukesh doing his Johnny Gaddar jig marked the event with scintillating performances; followed by the hot and sexy Kareena Kapoor doing a Britney Spear's to Mauja Hi Mauja, while Viviek enthralled with his Ganpat Act. Himesh revealed his new avatar with Asalaam Walekum, while Akshay Kumar took peoples breath away with his energy packed performances on songs from Bhool Bhulaiyan.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET), which has been associated with the Filmfare Awards for several years, is set to make the 53^rdFilmfare Awards a truly memorable experience for its viewers.

As the stars descended on the sparkling arena via the red carpet, Amrita Arora, the host, added to the glamour and glitz of the night chatting up the stars who walked the red carpet. Among them were John-Bipasha, Hrithik –Suzanne, Madhavan and his wife, AR Rahman, Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh, Akshay -Twinkle, Deepika Padukone, Himesh Reshamiyya, Kareena Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ranbir Kapoor, Tabu, Karishma-Sanjay, Karan Johar, Gauri Khan, Vidya Balan, Himesh Reshamiyya and many more from the bold and beautiful brigade.

Saif and Shah Rukh were great. their intention was mainly to bring humor...and I think they did just that. Pretty well, that too. I loved watching their segments

I think channel should think twice next time to have these two khans hosting. I think having funa and making fun at someone is not so nice. Also they both made dun at elder than them more experience than them. found it very disgusting.

SRK n Saif were the highlights of the show, for a few years now Filmfare has been pretty boring, but this year srk n saif saved the show they were really worth watching, dey did a gr8 job well done :D i just found it really funny how darsheel was nominated for best actor lolssss

What an utter waste of time. In an effort to sound funny and witty in a supposedly irreverant manner, the two Khans came across as kids trying to take pot shots at all and sundry. SRK's wit is running as dry as the Sahara desert and poor saif's hanging on to his coat tails.

The only thing worth a watch were the dance performances, especially Vivek Oberoi's.

I felt some of SRK's and Saif's jokes were overdone and offensive, especially when Saif said he loves Vidya with clothes and without clothes, Vidya wasn't very impressed you can see in her expressions.
