Among all the relationships and bonds, the bond between a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law is one of the most underrated and undervalued. Owing to our daily soaps and television dramas, the bond between a saas and bahu is often deemed negatively. 

It is a common misconception that a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law cannot get along, but this is far from the truth. There have been instances where many bahus have developed a strong bond with their in-laws. Similarly, there are a few duos of saas and bahu in our tinsel town who adore, respect, and idolise each other equivalently and share a kinship bond. 

Some Bollywood divas have a special bond with their mothers-in-law. They are, without a doubt, the enraptured bahus who are frequently spotted spending quality time at varied social events. Not only that but the mothers-in law of our divas rarely miss a chance to heap praises on their bahus and here are few instances which will want you to have a bond these saas-bahu jodis of the industry share.

Kareena Kapoor- Sharmila Tagore

Sharmila Tagore, Saif Ali Khan's mother and a veteran actress, adores her daughter-in-law Kareena Kapoor. She lavished praise on her daughter-in-law in one of her interviews with a leading daily, saying Kareena's presence calms her. 

"I am so fond of her. What I like best about her is how calm she is. I've witnessed her interactions with her staff, hairdresser, and designer. I would sometimes snap at my hairdresser if we were being summoned and I would say zara jaldi karo, but not Kareena",

Sharmila told ETimes in an interview. Sharmila also lauded Kareena for her poise and demeanour. She also added that Kareena often tells her that she is like her daughter ans Sharmila replies by saying, yes you are. 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan- Jaya Bachchan

When it comes to Jaya Bachchan and her daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the two are said to get along swimmingly. It has been hinted at in several of their previous interviews. In 2007, when Jaya Bachchan showed up on the popular talk show Koffee With Karan, she feted praise on the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam star. 

When Karan Johar questioned Jaya about Aishwarya, the veteran couldn't help but chuckle and said, 

“She’s lovely, I love her. You know I have always loved her. I think its wonderful because she is such a big star herself.  I like that quality that she stands behind." She further added,  "another beautiful thing is she’s fitted in so well.  I think she’s a strong lady, she has a lot of dignity.”

Alia Bhatt-Neetu Kapoor

The recently turned saas-bahu pair of the industry, Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor have always essayed a friendly bond. Even before Alia's wedding to Ranbir, Neetu was quite fond of Alia and she never missed a chance to laud the Highway actor. Be it for Alia's performances in the films or just her aura in general, Neetu has been all praises for her dotting bahu. She also said during the wedding, that she is really blessed to have a daughter-in-law like her. 

Priyanka Chopra-Denise Jonas

Even after belonging to different cultures and lands, Priyanka Chopra shares an amazing bond with her mother-in-law. While Nick and Priyanka were dating, Nick's mom Denise Jonas took to her Instagram handle to share an adorable picture with her daughter-in-law-to-be. In her caption, she expressed that she is blessed to have Priyanka in her family. She wrote, "So Blessed #daughterinlove".

Sonam Kapoor-Priya Ahuja

Recenly it was seen that Sonam Kapoor celebrated her anniversary with her in-laws and she seems to be quite close with her mother-in law. By sharing a picture with her daughter-in-law, in one of her Insta posts,  Priya was all praises as she expressed how she always wanted a daughter and Sonam has fulfilled her wish by bringing her family happiness and joy. She captioned the post writing, "We always wished to have a daughter and then you came and filled our lives with so much happiness and joy. You are our sweetest daughter and we love you dearly."
