5 reasons to watch out for the Top 14 in the Grand Premiere of 'Indian Idol Season 10'

Indian Idol is finally back after a long break with its 10th season. Seated at the judges panel will be Vishal Dadlani, Anu Mallik and Neha Kakkar, who will be on the lookout for the next singing sensation.

While last weekend the Top 14 contestants were revealed and will start their journey tonight, the audience will see the contestants croon some of the industry's celebrated singers Rekha Bharadwaj, Javed Ali, Kailash Kher's hit numbers.

Below is a list of hit songs that the audience will be treated to tonight.

Rekha Bhardwaj's Namak Ishq Ka by Renu Nagar

Queen of ghazals Rekha Bhardwaj will set the stage on fire with her mesmerizing voice. The National award winner singer came to support and motivate Renu Nagar who hails from Rajasthan. Renu, who blew the judges' breath away with her outstanding voice, will enthrall audiences by singing Namak Ishq Ka with Rekha and get everyone tapping their feet.

Amit Mishra's Bulleya by Vibhor Parashar

Contestant Vibhor Parashar from Delhi caught the judges attention with his soulful voice and lively performance. The talented singer will share the stage with renowned vocalist Amit Mishra to give a performance that's purely magical.

Sukhwinder Singh's Kar Har Maidan Fateh by Sourav Valmiki

We are very sure if Sukhvinder Singh were to see Sourav Valmiki sing Har Maidan Fateh, he'd be giving the contestants a standing ovation. Nevertheless, Indian Idol 5 winner Sreeram Chandra who came to support Sourav, left no stone unturned in praising him. Sreeram even went on to say that he felt like he was watching the Grand Finale episode and not the Grand Premiere.

Hindustani Classical Kaa Karun Sajni by Sumoyo Chakravorty

Soumya is the first and only contestant in the history of Indian Idol who has been awarded with two golden microphones. Anu Malik exclaimed that they have found the first ever classical Rockstar on Indian Idol 10. Simply wait and watch the Rockstar' performance of Soumya to be swept off your feet with his singing prowess.
