10 Things that CID has taught us.
Our take on the super series, CID...

CID has been one of the most popular television series for over the past 18 years. ACP Pradyuman and his team have successfully caught hold of countless bad guys and have also solved a number of supernatural cases. Here is what we learnt from CID.
18 years in the services and you don't get promoted.
Once ACP, always an ACP! Phew!! Not a single officer in the bureau has ever received a promotion on this show! You will be allotted a post and would be expected to work on the same post for ages. So much for work motivation!
Leading lock manufacturers have no power against Daya's kick.
Daya can actually challenge the leading lock making companies which guarantee no house breaks! The door breaking is daya's forte on this show.
It doesn't matter if you are a senior officer, you still fear ghosts.
Freddy sir needs to man up! CID officers can go up against all kinds of gory deaths and blood shed but they chicken out with the idea of ghosts. Every ghost related story on CID turns out to be funny instead of being scary!
Daya has a teleportation device installed in his hand.
One slap and you end up in the bureau! What if someone wants to go to the washroom before they go out? Or what if someone wants to get their personal belongings? He should be a little more considerate and give them a little time!
DNA matching via X-ray.
I agree cops have some of the best technologies available but this is something the WORLD has never heard of! How is it even possible to match DNA via X ray? The DNA of a person is inside his bones and has nothing to do with the arrangement of the rib cage!
The best search engine.
KOOGLE.inc, the number 1 search engine. We agree that the show can't violate copyrights but was KOOGLE the best alternative they could come up with? On top of that, they made the website by using Google's customization tool! And who on earth, still uses windows 98?!
Inspector hai toh kya hua, Wife is always right!
Like we said earlier, MAN UP FREDDY SIR! Almost all episodes of CID have one scene featuring Freddy sir ki wife ke nuske." I bet she works at KOOGLE!
No issues if you lose your memory, you are still welcome on the force.
Abhijeet must have lost his memories a number of times on the show, but he always joins the force again. No crime fighting organisation in the world hires people with mental instability. Hail CID!
There is no local police, ONLY CID!
Right from the biggest murder mystery to the tiniest robbery is handled by the CID. Even paranormal cases! Its like CID is the only crime fighting agency that exists in India!
Flemming's right hand rule.
Oh, we just jove it when ACP sir does that! They could actually contact Shivaji Satam for giving guest lectures on this concept in various schools and colleges!

Hahahahahah... It was really funny. But CID is one of the best show in Indian tv and I love CID no matter what. It teaches a lot of things which is really important.

Some of your points is correct. But we should also see the good side of CID TV Series. CID can be viewed by people of any age group. No Abusive or Vulgurous Language is used in the Show. If CID shows real Police procedures, Viewers may get bored. In CID, until now there is no episode in which any politics is discussed. No caste name is added to the name of characters. For Writing stories for a Crime Series, extraordinary Intelligence is required unlike daily soap and that for 18 years. Not all crimes are investigated by CID. Only Crimes reported directly them are investigated. If main Characters would have got promotion, Pradhyuman would have become Commissioner, Daya and Abhijeet would have become DCP and Freddy ACP and they all have to leave CID. CID is the Goodwill of SONY TV and Adithya Srivastava, Dayanand Shetty and Sivaji Satam are the Brand Ambassadors of the Channel.

An article published with total lack of research and understanding of the show and characters. criticism and making fun of things make sense only when used wisely and correctly. Unfortunately this article clearly misses it's purpose. Please do some research before publishing things. There are certain funny jolts in article too but all of them are already read by me else where and the article says copy righted !!! what an irony. I do see some guidelines for readers regarding commenting. It would be good if forum can provide some guidelines for authors as well.

First, there's no need to speak of "mental instability" in this manner. And if you ever actually bothered to follow the show and stories, you'll see Abhijeet sir proved himself to be an amazing and exceptionally strong cop, overcoming all the difficulties that stood in his path. And Freddy sir is a kind-hearted and dedicated cop too and one of the pillars of CID, no matter what some inept writers have shown in contemporary episodes. While some respectful humour is perfectly fine, it would be nice not to resort to ridicule and mockery. There's so much more to CID than this myopic version you've presented.
