Yes you can open threads for birthdays, but only for genuine birthdays. Sonia herself stated in one of those posts (please don't ask me to show you all those posts now) that she celebrates her birthday ten times a year.

LOL ....she celebrates it at least 25 times in a year πŸ˜† I opened up one topic to celebrate birthday for all her MIDs πŸ˜• πŸ˜†

No worries. I didn't mind closing the topic but probably more members wanted to wish her. For other members, we would open up such threads though .....specially for members who celebrate birthday only once a year πŸ˜ƒ

NO...YOU listen -

Why should I mind my own business when some of this crap does concern me? Why should I trust you when you say that you don't talk shit about me or anyone else for that matter? You've done it in the past, and I'm not the one who's going to fall for your sudden change in behavior. If you can't tolerate the heat, then that's not my problem.

What a perfect case of double-dhol'ing.

OH AND TO THE MOD - I am not calling the above member a double-dhol. I'm just referring to this situation as a double-dhol'ing one.

Hello everyone,

Since many of you have questions/queries for me, I am opening this thread where each of you can ask me any questions/concerns you have. I'll read each of them and respond here.

Any questions/queries/concerns/doubts you have all are welcome.

Before that,
I would like to sincerely apologize to all of those members who feel I am biased and too pro-active. I just want to clear out that I am as neutral as I have always been. I have no particular favorites here, be it actors or members.

Also, rules of the forum are being worked on, so if you guys have questions on that I want to assure you that all your opinions really matter to me and I have took into consideration all those suggestions.

I would not tell you how to behave here since many of you think I am treating you all like kids.πŸ˜”

The long and arduous path from an utter ignorance to enlightenment , understanding and knowledge has to be traveled alone by the parents (and Mods) and not the teens and rockersπŸ˜‰

But on a serious note, if you were a bit too pro-active, then you were also very democratic in that respect, meaning everyone (old friends that came as baggage from previous forums as well as newbies) got equal share of your pro-activism , warnings and edits.πŸ˜‰

Sometimes, the best way to manage is to manage the least - be it the teenagers or the grown-ups. It is possible to manage the least if certain conditions are met.

As the management guru Peter Drucker observed, often the well-managed places are almost dull and boring in that not much drama happens there as a daily circus. Everyone knows what is expected of them as the rules and regulations, the roles and responsibilities, the effort and reward systems are clearly laid down, transparent and well-communicated.

It is only in the organisations (be it business or social) where such rules and regulations, etc. are not laid down or are inadequately written or are ambiguous, that the daily chaos and unnecessary communication, fights, reconciliations and clarifications are the order of the day. Each day is a living hell for all those are part of such loose organisation. To manage in such a set up is a punishment and a thankless job.

Zero tolerance to violations of rules is better left to the NYPD or Police who try to control crime. But to use the phrase in social forums is to really carry it too far as it despises the human dignity and self-respect.

Being pro-active is always better than being reactive, but at the same time, everything in excess is poison. One of my all time favourite quote while managing people has been : "Human beings..!! Handle with Care..!!"
