- I’m currently writing a love story with respect to Angad-Meera of which even Kabir-Rima are also important parts. So, I just rewatched a few earlier episodes to "visualize" deeper into Angad-Meera’s "chemistry" and was surprised quite to find a lot of things which I hadn't noticed earlier.
- First of all regarding Angad-Meera’s "scenes" together. I just noticed that Angad-Meera had lesser scenes together than Kabir-Meera had together even when they were in a relationship.
- Frankly, I saw only "three" scenes of Angad-Meera together where their chemistry was quite visible. The bar scene, before Kabir’s birthday party scene and the engagement scene.
- On top of that, in two of those scenes, Kabir was playing gooseberry. In bar scene, it was fine because Kabir was the one who wanted to have drinks and go on a long drive, so perhaps Angad must have suggested to take Meera along.
- Yet it was really strange seeing Kabir stand right in the middle of Angad-Meera during their engagement. I mean didn’t he have any other place to stand? Because all the other family members of Sakhujas and Sehgals were standing in the side.
- Probably, the CVs were giving "indications" for the "foreshadowing" because perhaps the CVs had decided on a Kabir-Meera track right from the beginning.
- Imo, for doing that CVs need not have taken the “Bhabhiji ghar par hain” route of ITV, they could have straight taken Kabir-Meera angle and the whole engagement story between Kabir-Meera, they need not have brought Angad’s character in the middle.
- I also rewatched the post-breakup scenes of Angad-Meera and Idk, I nowhere found Meera as those “bechari” types for the way Angad treated her in the hospital, it is more like Angad is “bechara” seeing all those times Meera ill-treated him. I mean if we enumerate everything:
- Alright Meera got angry and disappointed seeing KK getting slapped by Guneet yet to a certain extent only her shouting for that was justifiable. What was the need to disclose about Angad’s unemployment in that manner? If she had really "loved" him, she should have understood his situation at that moment. The whole family’s responsibility was on him and he was going through a very "bad emotional, financial, professional breakdown" and it was not at all nice from her part to make him go through that extremely difficult situation at that moment.
- Next, when Amrita called Meera to talk in the cafe she behaved very abysmally like she said now “KK will slap Guneet” and that quite justifies Angad’s anger over there. I mean Guneet had apologized to Meera even after all that melodrama of hers in their house and he had also promised that he will apologize to KK for slapping him and even after that Meera wanted “KK to slap Guneet” means it’s normal that kids will get angry especially when the real mistake is on the other side. Idk why Kabir did not react at that statement yet Meera’s behavior was very wrong and abysmal and like Angad told her there she had gone blind unable to see the difference between right and wrong.
- The ring part was the worst, she called him on phone and he spoke really well with her in the beginning thinking that they will sort out things. There again, first, she spoke very rudely to him asking him to return the engagement ring and gifts she gave him and on top of that she was whining in front of her Apa with that very “famous” dialogue of hers, “Angad does not understand me” she had also added “Angad spoke rudely to her” for which Divya gave her a really good answer “Di you also spoke rudely to him” but all Meera said for that is “shut up Divya”. Frankly, I can’t believe Divya is Meera-Navin’s sister, she is the youngest among them yet more “mature” and “sensible” than the elder two and imo the most "sensible" of the whole Sehgals.
- Again, Meera’s attitude towards Angad in the café when he came to return the ring was just unbearable. I mean when Angad asked Meera why did she not herself come and sent Divya in her place all that Madam had to say was “Because I did not want to see your face”.
- Adding to these incidents were the incidents of Angad’s accident caused by Meera and the scene where Meera completely ignored Angad and behaved as though he is a stranger when he came to leave Kabir in their office.
- And after all that Meera still has to say one stupid dialogue “Angad doesn’t understand me”. I mean her “Angad doesn’t understand me” thing doesn’t really make sense to me. It would have still made sense if Angad had told that about her that Meera doesn't understand him because before he was quite more polite to Meera than she had been to him till the café moment with Rima’s father.
- It was there that Angad made a very wrong impression about her when KK lied about their relationship to Rima’s father and Meera kept quiet about it until he left. Meera did reveal the truth but after Angad left which is why he started thinking that Meera is part of KK’s criminal plan.
- Anyhow, seeing how much Meera illtreated Angad. I don’t think Angad’s rude behaviour to her was completely unjust, it was justified to a very large extent. Meera did deserve it for all that she did to him. Looking at things from a relationship POV, Meera behaved very "immaturely" in handling her relationship with Angad.
- Yet again seeing Angad-Meera’s hospital interaction and their diwali scene when Meera & KK came to Sakhuja house, I have a feeling that the CVs are in the process of gradually making Angad "grey" and perhaps later he will be a complete vamp. Well, I am quite against that.
- I mean is it really necessary to "butcher" a good character? Because I have always liked Angad’s character since the beginning although he is not that "interesting" compared to Kabir’s "fun-loving character".
- My most favourite scene of Angad was in "Episode 6" when Angad had received that e-mail that he is rejected and he remembers the fb on how Karan was overjoyed the last time when he got a job and told him then when he got a job, he became Guneet Sakhuja and now that Angad has got a job he became Karan Sakhuja and there Angad sits and cries miserably in the cafe. That part really "melted" my heart. I mean we could literally feel "Angad’s pain" just like that scene where "Pritam cries badly" after Amrita shouts at him in the baby shower.
- I guess it was because of Ankit’s acting. Acting wise I have always liked Ankit’s acting more because already Kabir’s character is a “over-nikamma” type and on top of that when he acts over on it, the character becomes very "annoying".
- In the same episode 6, there was a scene where Meera shows her room to Kabir and at that time when he lies on her bed, she lies right next to him. Frankly, I found that a bit "uncomfortable", alright, they may be really good friends yet still it was quite uncomfortable. Yet perhaps, the CVs must have been indicating the foreshadowing there.
- I will share an old tweet which will share my exact feelings on Kabir-Meera.
