Part-2

Pritam-Vishaka’s love story, marriage, Rahul’s birth, tragedy and fallout

- After the first date, Pritam and Vishaka’s relation continue to blossom more with their regular dates and discussions on drugs and it’s abuses. Soon, knowingly or unknowingly their common hatred for drugs was bringing them closer and the love becoming stronger. One day, when Pritam returns to station after spending time with Vishaka on a date, Nitin-Monty were waiting for him. As he comes inside, he gets pounced on by them. He gets nervous seeing their questioning looks and asks, “What? Why are you both sitting and waiting for me? Don’t you have the duty which I assigned? Go do that.” Nitin, “Yes of course we have to do all thework….” Monty “…. when our friend will have his lovely time with his girlfriend…”. Pritam blushes at that and replies, “Can’t you both atleast do this much for your close friend” Nitin “We will provided…” Monty “…. you tell us how far it has reached between you and Vishaka”. Pritam smiles shyly. Nitin-Monty stare at him with surprise seeing him smile, Nitin " we never knew the rough and tough man inside Pritam Chaudhary….” Monty,“…can also feel shy” Pritam unknowingly replies, “Now come on it happens in love”. Nitin-Monty together, “Love?” Pritam realizes that he just blurted out. Nitin-Monty inch closer to Pritam one on either side and ask, “So now you are also admitting that you have fallen in love…” Monty “….and we the Pritam Chaudhary’s closest friends are knowing it only now” Pritam continues to smile blushingly. Nitin “Now what are your plans?” Pritam asks, “Plans? What plans?” Monty,“Pritam, did you tell her about your feelings?” Nitin, “And what do you think will be her reaction?” Monty “Do you think that she likes you and will say a yes” Pritam gets lost in his thoughts of wonder, “I don’t know!!” Nitin-Monty hit their forehead, Nitin “Then try to know that” Pritam “But how?” Monty,“What did you feel from Vishaka’s way of behaving with you till now?” Pritam walking forward says in a blushful manner, “I don’t know whenever she is around I get so lost in her that I don’t look deep into her way of behaviour with me”. Nitin-Monty shake their head. Nitin comes forward catches Pritam’s shoulder and says, “Then Pritam reveal to her about your feelings” Pritam asks, “How?”Monty, “By proposing her!!” Pritam asks in surprise, “Propose?” Nitin-Monty together, “Yes propose!!” Pritam shakes his head opposing it saying, “You both know that I can’t do all this” Nitin, “But now you have to do it because you are in love” Monty, “Otherwise you will only be lost always in her whenever she is with you…” Nitin, “…While she will get married to someone else” Monty, “…And her kids will come and call you Uncle” Pritam imagines the whole scenario, gets terrified and shouts, “No!!” Nitin, “Bro, which is why we are asking you to propose her” Pritam annoyingly asks, “But how??” Monty, “Bro, leave that to us,we will arrange everything for that, you just take courage” Nitin-Monty try to boost Pritam up saying that he is IPS Pritam Chaudhary and he shouldn’t be scared of such trivial things in his life yet deep down in his heart Pritam felt a strange fear thinking how he will reveal his feelings to Vishaka.

The Proposal Day

- Pritam comes to the venue suggested by his changu-mangu and gets shocked seeing the whole place decorated gaudily with red flowers, balloons and candles. As Nitin-Monty come there ,Pritam asks them angrily, “What is all this? Why have you decorated this place as if I’m not going to propose Vishaka but going to celebrate my first nigh twith her?” Nitin-Monty get embarrassed by his remark. Nitin “Pritam this is how proposal spots are decorated” Monty “Leave it Nitin, how will he know? Has he ever proposed any girl till now in his life?” Pritam replies, “You both are talking as if you have hit a century proposing women” Nitin-Monty get embarrassed again. Nitin “Right now, it is not about us….”, Monty “…It is about you…”,Nitin “…. You are the one who is going to propose not any of us…”, Monty “…So be a man and don’t spoil it”. Instantly, they spot Vishaka coming so they give all the best to Pritam and quickly leave the spot. Yet after going to a certain distance, they hide to watch how it will go on. Vishaka comes and gets impressed by the place, the decorations and asks, “Wow Pritam this place is so beautiful, so are the decorations. Is this all your idea and arrangement?” Pritam replies, “Of course yes, all this was my idea and arrangement” Nitin-Monty mumble, Nitin “Hmpf…all this time he was grumbling about our arrangement…” Monty “…but when his girl came, he is taking all the credit as his…” Nitin-Monty together, “Such a flip-flopper!!” Pritam pulls the chair for Vishaka and makes her feel comfortable, Once both sit on their candle-lit table, Vishaka asks “So many decorations and arrangements? Anything special?” Pritam gets nervous and says, “No!!” Vishaka stares questioningly while Nitin-Monty gasp in disappointment. Nevertheless, Pritam quickly changes his answer saying, “I mean yes…when you are around, everything becomes automatically special” Vishaka blushes listening to his reply while Nitin-Monty shake their head. Nitin “What is he doing?” Monty “Come to the point bro”. Vishaka asks, “So you have arranged all this for me? But today is neither my birthday nor any special day of mine then why?” Pritam starts sweating, he starts “Be…ca…use….” On the other side, Nitin-Monty get highly impatient. Vishaka asks, “Because of what?” Pritam quickly gets up excuses himself to use the washroom and goes. Vishaka is left pondering. Nitin-Monty swing their hands in disappointment and follow Pritam towards the washroom.

- In the men’s washroom, Pritam stands near the sink, throwing water on his face. Nitin-Monty come there and confront him, Nitin “What are you doing Pritam?”, Monty “If not about yourself think atleast about our efforts to arrange all this” Pritam says, “I can’t do this it’s not my thing” Nitin, “Not your thing? You love her!!” Monty, “….so take up the courage and go tell her, remember that you are Pritam Chaudhary IPS” Nitin “The Pritam Chaudhary who is not scared of facing any challenges in his life” Monty “…is getting scared to reveal his feelings to the girl he loves, na!!”. Nitin-Monty pat together on Pritam’s back saying, “Come on Pritam you can do it!!” As the duo keep patting on Pritam’s back to boost his confidence, Pritam finally draws in confidence and shakes his head, saying, “Yes, I’m Pritam Chaudhary I can do it, I can do it!!” while saying that he dashes outside towards Vishaka. Nitin-Monty show thums-up to each other and quickly follow him. Pritam rushes towards Vishaka and speaks out his feelings in an extremely rapid manner, “Vishaka, all this arrangements were done by my friends because I wanted to reveal my feelings to you. All I wanted to say is that whenever I spend time with you, I feel really good and I have started liking you, so will you marry me?” Nitin-Monty bang their heads saying, “Along with confidence we should have also given him practice on how to propose.” Vishaka exclaims, “What?” Pritam becomes silent in nervosity swinging his heads and trying not to meet Vishaka’s eyes. Vishaka sensing his awkwardness, tries breaking the ice asking, “So that means, Mr. Pritam Chaudhary just proposed me?” Pritam feels strange and tries explaining saying, “Look Vishaka, I’m not here for time-pass, I have never felt like this for anyone else before and I genuinely….” before he could continue, Vishaka cuts him saying, “I love you”, Pritam shockingly asks, “huh?” Vishaka repeats, “I love you”. Pritam turns red on hearing it, while Nitin-Monty jump in joy, hug each other exclaiming, “Yes, mission successful!!”. Vishaka inches closer towards Pritam, hugs him tightly, keeping her head on his chest and listening to his heart beats which had picked up a fast pace. Nitin-Monty smile whole-heartedly being happy for their friend and quietly leave the place to let the couple enjoy with each other. Vishaka continues,“Pritam I have been waiting all along for you to reveal your feelings and when you finally took courage all you did was vent out everything in a really fast mode, can’t you be a bit romantic?” Pritam looks at her with an artful smile and asks, “Romantic?” He then kneels down, picks out a silver ring from his pocket, it was the same ring which Vishaka had given him when they first met, points it towards Vishaka asking, “So Miss. Vishaka are you ready to become Mrs.Chaudhary?” Vishaka’s smile disappears as she hears that. Pritam sees it and asks, “What happened just now you were complaining that I’m not romantic now what happened? You still don’t like my way of romantically proposing you.”Vishaka sadly replies, “It’s not about you, it’s about me” Pritam asks, “What do you mean?” Vishaka, “I mean I love you Pritam yet I’m not sure if I am ready to become your life partner. Remember what I had said earlier? My career is my first love and nothing can come before that for me not even you Pritam” Pritam smilingly asks, “So what’s the problem? Do you think I’m like those men who will stop his wife from building her career? Never. I promise you I will never stop you from achieving your dreams. Your dreams will become my dreams after marriage. For me what is important is your love and your togetherness with me. If we are together, I’m sure we can face any hurdle in life.” Vishaka smiles at Pritam’s words and also gets assured by them. She forwards her hand for Pritam to wear the ring signing a “yes” to take their relationship forward. Pritam gets on cloud nine seeing her gesture and happily makes her wear the ring.

Since then started a new journey in Pritam-Vishaka’s life

- Pritam’s family which consisted only of his mother and paternal grandmother did not have any objections to Vishaka being an orphan nor with Pritam marrying Vishaka. On the other side, they were extremely happy that their son had finally found his true love. His other family, which were his changu-mangu Nitin-Monty and his close associate Mansoor Uncle, were already in support of Pritam-Vishaka’s relationship so Pritam had nothing else to think to go forward with his marriage. A few months later, Pritam-Vishaka get married on an auspicious day in the presence of all close ones and with the blessings of all elders. Soon Pritam-Vishaka’s married life begins with the two having a romantic blissful life. The two were deeply in love with each other and enjoyed each and every moment of being together. As time passed, Vishaka started refocusing on her academics and career to which Pritam never objected. Also, as he had promised, he made her dream as his and trying to become her strongest supportive system. Pritam took the responsibility of the food so that Vishaka could devote more of her time towards her dream of building her academics and career. Hence, in an attempt to impress his wife with his culinary skills, Pritam became a pro in cooking and preparing delicacies. His changu-mangu, Nitin-Monty were surprised seeing Pritam’s newly developed culinary skills and often teased him saying he is becoming a slave of his wife. Pritam chided them away without realizing that it was soon turning into a reality in his life. Yet still, everything was perfect in Pritam-Vishaka’s life for they had mutual love and trust which stayed strong between them for a year until one fine day.

- Vishaka feels uncomfortable since the moment she had woken up in the morning. She had already thrown up twice and was getting an urge to throw up once more. After she throws up, something clicks in her mind. It is then she realizes that she had missed her menses for the past two months. She becomes perturbed and distressed with the thoughts of missing her menses and the non-stop retching up she was facing since the time she woke up that morning. She keeps her hand around her tummy and whispers, “I hope what I’m thinking is not true”. As she heads towards the dining room, Pritam is busy preparing breakfast. As he sees Vishaka, he smiles, goes towards her, kisses her forehead saying, “Good morning, aren’t you getting late? I have prepared your favourite hot parathas. Mom and grandma have gone to the temple, you have your breakfast and get ready fast…” He stops realizing that Vishaka had not been listening to what he had been saying and was completely looking elsewhere lost in her own thoughts. He catches her chin, moves her face towards him and asks, “What is the matter why do you look so worried?” She says, “Pritam…I think I’m pregnant” Pritam widens his eyes in joy on hearing that. He is delighted and is about to hug Vishaka, when she places a hand in front of him saying, “Pritam I don’t want this child!!” Pritam is in for a shock after hearing that. Just a few seconds ago, he was ecstatic with the news of becoming a father and now all of a sudden that joy seemed like a shield of glass shattered into pieces. Pritam was still lost when Vishaka holds his hand, “Listen Pritam you promised me that my dream will be yours and will always stay by my side and right now we cannot have this child”. Pritam asks, “But why Vishaka?” Vishaka explains, “Look Pritam my career has not even started and I’m a journalist. A journalist is a person who must be ready to reach anytime anywhere to get news just like how you cops have to reach anytime anywhere to serve people. In that case, how can I fulfil my duties as a journalist first with a baby bump or a toddler in my arms?” Pritam comprehends Vishaka’s plea and painfully tells, “Ok Vishaka we both are the parents of this child and we both have equal rights to decide on him/her. I understand your situation and if you do not want to keep him then let’s terminate this pregnancy.” Vishaka is delighted, hugs Pritam saying, “Thank you so much Pritam”, Pritam reciprocate her hug giving out a sad smile with tears welling his eyes.

- Next day, when Nitin-Monty, learn about the same and question him, Nitin “Pritam having lost your dad at a young age didn’t you always want to become a dad? ….” Monty “…now when that is about to happen why are you destroying your own dream?” Pritam sighs saying, “Yes I always dreamt of becoming a dad but I had also promised Vishaka that I will make her dream come true considering it as my own dream and being the mother she has equal rights on our baby as me. Also, aren’t we cops? The guardians of law? What does MTP Act 1971 say? A woman has the rights to terminate her pregnancy without the consent of her husband because she should be both physically and mentally prepared to go forward with a pregnancy. Vishaka is not prepared for that and in that case, I can’t force her to keep the baby when she is the one who has handle all the side-effects of pregnancy. So I have decided to support her if she thinks that this baby will be a hindrance to fulfilling her dreams.” Nitin-Monty smile at that, come close, hug him on either sides and say, Nitin “We are proud of you boy….” Monty“…And we pray that your dream of becoming a dad too comes true”. PriNiMo smile together.

At the hospital, Pritam-Vishaka inform the doctor of their decision and reasons to not to keep the child. The doctor tells Vishaka to undergo a sonography test before going forward with the termination. Vishaka nods. After the sonography tests, the doctor looks into the results and gets perturbed. Vishaka asks, “Is there be any issue in terminating this child doctor?” The doctor replies, “No there is no issue in going forward with the termination but….” Pritam asks, “But what doctor?” The doctor continues, “Mrs. Chaudhary’s uterus is really weak. It was a miracle that she even conceived this time yet I’m afraid if you terminate this child, she will ever be able to conceive once again.” Both Pritam-Vishaka get shocked on hearing that. The doctor continues, “I feel you both should discuss once again before arriving to a decision”. Pritam-Vishaka look at each other with clouds seen filling the sky in the window behind them.

For the first time in the one year of their marriage, misunderstanding was beginning to crop between them

At home, Pritam’s mom and grandma were shocked to see Pritam and Vishaka arguing as the duo had never quarrelled with each other over any issue during their one year of marriage. Vishaka, “Pritam why don’t you understand? I can’t let myself undergo all that physical and psychological pressure of pregnancy which will bring a negative impact on my career.” Pritam, “Understand? If I wouldn’t have understood then I wouldn’t have agreed to terminate the pregnancy in the first place, now the situation is not the same” Vishaka “What is the problem if we don’t have any children, we still have each other and if we want we can also adopt” Pritam catches Vishaka’s hand and says “How to explain to you Vishaka, children are not objects which we raise to pass-time in our life, they are a part of our zindagi and remain as a hope of that zindagi even when we leave this world and this child is the symbol of our zindagi together and perhaps the last symbol of that hope, what is use of regretting later once we lose our last hope? And zindagi is not always about only winning Vishaka, sometimes giving up something in zindagi brings bigger happiness which we may not have expected. So please Vishaka, let’s not lose this last ray of hope.” Vishaka still not completely assured tries to look away in disagreement yet when Pritam constantly persuades “I promise you Vishaka other than the pregnancy issues you won’t have to deal with anything else, I will try the best to make it the most comfortable for you during pregnancy and once you bring this zindagi to the world. I assure that I will take full responsibility of him/her without letting you know anything, I will take care of the baby as both Mamma & Papa” Vishaka finally gives in. Pritam catches her hands and thanks her profusely saying, “Thank you Vishaka, thank you so much.” Vishaka nods. Pritam hugs her happily. Vishaka looks on and hugs him back.

Next 7-8 months

- Pritam, his mom and grandma paid extra attention to Vishaka. She was given all that she wanted yet Vishaka found it a burden undergoing pregnancy. Her uneasiness towards her pregnancy also brought an uneasiness in her relation towards Pritam although the latter was trying everything possible to please his wife. Vishaka hardly ever smiled during her pregnancy because she was constantly bothered with the thoughts of failing in her career. Pritam noticing Vishaka’s distress realizes that it was affecting both her and their child. So, one fine day, he brings two garlic heads and keeps them near Vishaka while she was reading a book on how to deal with pregnancy. As Vishaka sniffs that and realizes that there is garlic around, she starts feeling nauseous. When she is about to throw up, Pritam tries to take out a polythene bag for her but before he could, Vishaka retches out completely on him. Pritam closes his eyes in disgust while all the puke is thrown on him. After retching out completely, Vishaka sees Pritam and has a hearty laugh. Pritam smiles seeing her laugh and says, “This is what I was longing to see all this while. You became more beautiful during pregnancy and that smile on your face makes you look as the most beautiful woman in the world. You should keep smiling always like this which will be good both for you and our junior.” Vishaka’s smile slowly vanishes on hearing that, “Pritam you know right that I never wanted this child?” Pritam “Yes I know but what is use of thinking of it again and again when we had decided to keep the baby in the end? Why do you want to spoil yours and our junior’s health?” Vishaka still not assured shakes her head and looks away. So, Pritam comes closer to her baby bump and says, “Oye junior Chaudhary, your mamma is very unhappy that you are coming because she thinks you will be a very naughty and always trouble her. Now tell you mamma that you will be a good child and become her favorite soon.” The baby kicks and Vishaka jerks in pain. Pritam anxiously asks her, “What happened?” Vishaka tells him that junior kicked. Pritam is overjoyed, keeps his hand on the baby bump and asks, “So is that a yes junior?” The baby kicks again with this time both Pritam-Vishaka feeling it. They smile together on feeling their baby for the first time. Pritam continues, “Listen Mrs. Chaudhary even junior Chaudhary has promised that he/she will be always keep you happy just like his/her Papa” Pritam boasts himself lifting his collar. “So keep all that worry away and cheer up for the baby shower because once our junior comes, me and baby will together support you to achieve your dreams.” Vishaka nods and hugs him feeling much better while Pritam feeling relieved gladly hugs her back.

Baby shower

- Everyone congratulate and shower their blessings on Vishaka who delightfully receives everything. Pritam smiles seeing his wife happy, looks at her bump and thinks, “Thank you junior without you I could have never made up your mamma’s mind” Just then, Nitin-Monty come there. He asks them, “Why are you both late?” Nitin says, “There is a serious issue, Pritam” Pritam looks towards them and seeing their worried faces asks, “What happened?” Monty “It’s about that dangerous drug trafficker system operating in our city” Nitin “The DCP wants you to follow the lead right now” Monty “But if you take up the case it will be a risk not just for you Pritam but for your entire family” Nitin, “Think about Vishaka, your baby and your family” Monty “Do you want to take this risk now? You should not accept the DCP’s orders.” Pritam turns around looks at a cheerful Vishaka and her baby bump, and says, “Nitin-Monty, didn’t, we take an oath when we wore the uniform the very first time? That we will keep our duty before everything?” They try to stop him but he cuts them saying, “I know my family needs me but this country needs my service more so I won’t stop myself from fulfilling my duties. When did DCP ask us to meet him?” They inform 11:30. He looks at his watch, sees the time to be quarter to 11 and tells them let’s leave, then turns around without looking back even once towards Vishaka and leaves. As Pritam leaves and vanishes into thin air, Vishaka keeps staring at him wondering what happened that made him leave.

After meeting the DCP, the trio PriNiMo discuss on the case. Nitin “It won’t be easy to handle this case Pritam. I heard many officers took charge of this case and left it mid-way as they were not able to arrive to any closure.” Monty “Also there were also many missing cases of officers who took charge of this case, although there were cases charged regarding their missing, the officers were never seen again after their disappearance.” Pritam in his usual style keeping his fingers on his nose, keeps reflecting and finally tells, “The Peddlers” Nitin-Monty ask, “Huh?” Pritam continues, “In order to reach that network of that drug trafficker we have to start with the smaller drug peddlers operating under them.” Nitin “But there is not one drugs trafficking network in town Pritam!! There are several, how will we know who is working for who?” Monty, “And for sure the drug peddlers won’t come searching for us, we have to go searching for them, so where should we start?” Pritam exclaims “Nitin-Monty….how many questions do you ask? Take a deep long breath, stop questioning and think. Where and to whom are the drugs sold the most in our country?” Nitin-Monty start reflecting and answer, Nitin “To the youth” Monty “In the medical stores” Pritam responds, “Ye baat and that is where we have to start from” Nitin-Monty nod in agreement. Nitin “So when do you think we should start working on this case?” Pritam “Right now” Monty “But Pritam what about Vishaka and your child?” Pritam grows sad, thinks about his moments with Vishaka, his promise with her, his plea to keep the baby and how he assured her for that and his emotions when he felt his child for the first time when his baby kicked. He closes his eyes and remembers his oath being a “cop” takes a deep long breath and says, “I’ll manage”. After saying that, he leaves from there. Nitin-Monty look on sadly. When Pritam reaches home, he sees the function was over and the decorations were slowly taken down. His mother asks why he wasn’t present in the second half of the function. He tells her about his urgent meeting and asks about Vishaka. His mother informs that Vishaka is taking rest in their room after the function. He nods to her mother, goes to their room and finds Vishaka fast asleep. He goes to her, caresses her face, keeps his hand on the baby bump and says, “I’m sorry I couldn’t stay for the entire function because my duty came in the middle. I know I had promised to stay by your side always but you know there are many people in our country who are affected by drugs and it is my duty to help them and I can’t allow you to come between my duty” He slowly rests his head near the baby bump and slowly dozes off.”

- The days move forward as Pritam gets busier in his duty along with Nitin-Monty to catch the drug peddlers which upsets Vishaka more and more. Pritam’s mom and grandma tries to cheer her up yet she is not able to overcome the grief of missing Pritam. Whenever, she calls Pritam, he either ignores or disconnects her calls because of work. Gradually,Pritam’s involvement in his work increases the void in between Pritam-Vishaka’s relation. One night, after Pritam returns home, Vishaka confronts him for not fulfilling his promises which turns in a big quarrel. Pritam tries to explain but all that went in vain as Vishaka was inconsolable. The distress further leads her to go into an early labour. Fortunately, she was taken to the hospital on time where she gives birth to Rahul the new zindagi/ray of hope in Pritam-Vishaka’s lives. Pritam is overjoyed with the coming of Rahul while Vishaka does not share the same feelings. She was already disappointed with Pritam’s distancing her which had complicated her side-effects of her pregnancy making both her and Rahul very weak. Once they return home, Vishaka confronts Pritam once again on why he had totally disregarded all that he had promised her. Pritam was left dumb-founded because according to his protocols, he is not supposed to reveal anything about his case investigation even to his closest family members. Pritam’s silence angers Vishaka more, “Why Pritam? You wanted me to keep the baby because you promised that you will take care of everything. Now why is that you are forgetting all that you said? Answer me!!” Vishaka raises her voice and hearing her scream, Rahul begins to wail. Pritam picks him up in his hands and tries to shush him. He asks Vishaka to feed Rahul but Vishaka denies to do that saying, “Enough Pritam, I have gone through a lot because of this pregnancy, now I will not bear anymore. You asked me to bring him to world making the promise that you will take full responsibility. Now here he is, he is your responsibility!!” on saying that Vishaka walks out of the room, shutting the door on Pritam's face. Pritam is left shocked, looks at a wailing Rahul in his arms and hugs him tightly in tears.

Post 7 years, 2020

Rahul had grown into a handsome young lad like his father. Vishaka-Pritam’s relation never mended post Rahul’s birth as Vishaka’s health worsened and deteriorated more post her pregnancy such that she could no longer pursue her dream. So, she blamed Pritam completely for her loss. The two no longer stayed together as husband-wife but only as Rahul’s parents. Although, Vishaka disliked Rahul’s coming, over the 7 years she had grown a strong fondness for her son because of his cute, innocent behavior. Rahul had managed to win his mother’s heart which Pritam couldn’t in the 7 years because of his duty. Pritam mom, grandmother and his changu-mangu Nitin-Monty try from their sides to mend Pritam-Vishaka’s deteriorating relationship but nothing ever worked. Although, Pritam couldn’t fulfill all his promises before Rahul’sbirth. He did take the entire responsibility of Rahul post his birth. He took care of Rahul giving him the love of both the parents and taking care of all his needs in Vishaka’s absence. Rahul did receive the love of his dad, grandma and great-grandmother yet failed to receive his mother’s as she was herself hurt and heartbroken ater losing her dream yet as Rahul’s grew up to be a lovely child, Vishaka’s hatred towards him started turning into love. While, Pritam who was also heartbroken of losing his love, felt relieved that Vishaka’s feelings towards her son was changing over time which he felt was a ray of hope in his life. Little did he know, the worst was yet to come.

A few days before Rahul’s 7th birthday, an unintended guest arrives at the Chaudharys’ in Pritam’s absence.He introduced himself as Pritam’s friend to Vishaka, Pritam’s mom and grandmom, so they let him in without realizing his evil motives. Soon, Pritam receives a call when he is in the station. As he responds, there was an evil grin heard from the other side, Pritam senses that he had heard the voice somewhere. As the voice, says hello, Pritam recognizes the voice. It was the voice of the chief of that dangerous drug trafficker whose case Pritam had handled seven years ago before Rahul’s birth. Pritam had put an end to all his trafficking business and also jailed him for his crimes when the former swore to avenge on Pritam. Pritam annoyingly asks, “What do you want?” The man laughs out, “I don’t want anything from you ACP saheb, but you will surely want a lot from me” Pritam does not understand his statement but soon he hears Rahul’s weeping voice from the other side. Pritam is in for a shock and screams Rahul. The other officers are alarmed hearing him scream while Nitin-Monty enter his cabin. The man on the other side, “Yes Mr. Chaudhary your son and your whole family is under my custody. If you want to see them alive for one last time, then better hurry up and reach your house asap but remember don’t make the mistake of coming with your men. If you do then you will also miss the chance to see them alive one last time.” After saying that ,the man hangs up the phone with an evil grin. Pritam tries to call him back but the number became switched off. He throws the phone and hits his table hard. Nitin-Monty ask him what’s the matter. He tells them the half story in a hurry and tells them to handle everything in the station as he needs to go and face the man alone.

At the Chaudhary’s house:

- Vishaka, Pritam’s mom and grandmother are tied tightly to the chairs with their mouths tied with a cloth to stop them from screaming. Pritam rushes his vehicle through the gates without waiting to open them, halts it with a screech and dashes inside. He sees the man seated on a big chair in the middle of their living room with Rahul on his lap. Vishaka, his mom and grandmom were tied and held as hostages at gunpoint behind the man. The man was caressing Rahul’s head who was strongly wailing in fear. As Rahul sees Pritam he lets out his hands towards him signing to free him from the scary man. Pritam tries to rush forward to take his son in his arms but is stopped with gun by the man’s goons and then held tightly. Pritam shouts at the man, “Your war is with me, come face me, do whatever you want with me but leave my family alone!!” The man gets up with Rahul still in his arms inches closer to Pritam and says, “Tsk-tsk, didn’t you study about me before messing up with me? I’m sure you would have known that I play dirty with those who mess with me, didn’t you?” Pritam eyes widen in anger while the goons still hold him tightly. The man then turns towards Vishaka, Pritam’s mom and grandma, smiles evilly and says, “Pairi pauna mummy ji, dadiji….” He stops himself as he gazes lustfully at Vishaka. He continues, “So this is my bhabhiji…I must say ACP saheb, you have an excellent choice, bhabhiji is really so beautiful” while saying that he touches Vishaka lustfully, Vishaka tries to resist his lustful touch yet she couldn’t do it completely as she was tied. Pritam shouts, “Don’t you dare touch my wife otherwise…”, the man turns towards him and asks, “Otherwise what? What can you do?” Then the man again turns towards Vishaka, Pritam’s mom and grandmom and tells them, “Do you all want to know why I’m here?” They look at him questioningly. He continues, “I will tell you the full story, 7 years back, Mr. Pritam Chaudhary messed up with my drug trafficking business and while doing that he knew that he is risking both his life and his family’s, still he chose his duty over his family” Vishaka glowers at Pritam when she hears that, she remembers how their relationship started deteriorating when he started getting involved more on his duty and hence started giving spending lesser time with her. Pritam could sense the grudge and anger in her eyes. The man continues, “So it was Pritam Chaudhary who brought this day on you because it was Pritam Chaudhary who invited me here so now whatever happens here Pritam alone will be responsible for it!! Now who shall I start with? Who is the dearest for you Pritam?” Pritam shouts, “Don’t do you dare…don’t you dare to harm my family?” The man laughs loudly, “You have immense confidence Pritam, you think I will stop myself listening to your threats, na…now you see what I’m gonna do” He goes forward towards Vishaka and attempts to forcefully molest her. Pritam gets outraged and overpowers the goons. Before the man could retaliate, Pritam first fights and shoots the goons one by one and soon points the gun on the man’s forehead. He shouts at the man, “I told you not to dare touch my family, now if you want stay alive then leave my family first” The man asks his men to untie Vishaka, Pritam’s mom and grandmom. His men follow his instructions. Pritam then asks the man to give his son to him. The man slowly forwards Rahul towards but before Pritam could take Rahul, one of the goons hit him from behind with a rod. Pritam hears a ringing voice in his ears with his vision slowly blurring. He gradually falls onto the floor. Rahul cries out Papa while the other women too cry out for him. Pritam lifts his hand trying to reach out to his son while his head feels heavy and does not allow him to. The man sits close to a Pritam and tells with an evil grin, “You can’t double cross me Pritam!! Never!!” The man then signs the goons who come and hit Pritam black and blue. While the goons do their job, the man says, “You wanted to erase drugs from this city right Pritam Chaudhary? Now you see what the same drugs do to your family!!” Pritam feels a deep ache in heart as he finds himself completely helpless to help his family while his family is constantly calling out to him for help. The man takes out drug packets from his suitcase and forcefully feeds them to Rahul. He does the same with Pritam’s Mom and grandmother yet when it comes to Vishaka’s turn, there is a gunshot heard. The man turns around and sees the house filled with a group of armed policemen led by Nitin-Monty. Fb: Pritam after narrating to Nitin-Monty the half story also informs them, “Listen both of you, I have to go there all alone at first because taking the other policemen along will complicate the situation but remember if you do not hear anything from me in the next 30 minutes, then come with the men on the spot!!” Nitin-Monty nod before Pritam rushes outside. Fb ends. Nitin-Monty came as Pritam had asked but it was quite late. They fight the man and his goons, arrest them and ask the constables to take them into the police van. After that, they rush towards Pritam anxiously and call out, “Pritam!! Pritam!!” Pritam was gradually losing his consciousness sees Nitin-Monty with a blurred vision and closes his eyes.

A week later

- Pritam opens his eyes, looks around and realizes that he is in the hospital, he calls out for help when Nitin-Monty come running towards him and ask if he is alright. Pritam without thinking twice about himself, asks them, “Where is my family?” A gloom falls on Nitin-Monty’s faces. They are unable to answer that question and keep looking sadly at each. Pritam gets disturbed and shouts, “I’m asking you both once again, where is my family?” When they again stay silent. Pritam tries to force himself to get up which makes Nitin-Monty stop him and speak out, “No no stay right there Pritam, we will tell you everything” Pritam waits anxiously while Nitin starts, “Pritam it’s been a week that you regained consciousness” Monty “And in that one week a lot happened” Pritam gets impatient, Nitin “Pritam you knew beeji had already undergone two strokes and with that weak health when she was given an overdose of drugs her BP went out of control leading her to have a heart attack and lose her life instantly.” Monty continues “And Mummyji survived from the heavy dosage of drugs but you know how people are suffering from the pandemic now. Her body became extremely weak after taking that heavy dosage of drugs so she got instantly affected by the virus although she fought with the drugs and lost her life two days before you woke up” Pritam eyes fill up and tears roll down heavily as he learns the news of passing away of his dear ones” He wipes his tears and asks, “What about Vishaka and my Rahul?” Nitin-Monty turn pale in gloominess. Pritam shouts, “Tell me have they left me too?” Nitin “No Pritam, it’s…” Pritam asks “What?” Monty “Vishaka has not been acting normal after she saw two deaths and the condition of Rahul so we had to admi….” Before he could say more, Pritam cuts in asking “What happened to Rahul?” Monty does not respond, Pritam getting annoyed catches Monty’s collars and gnarls “What happened to Rahul? Tell me…Tell me” Nitin shouts, “Rahul has gone into COMA Pritam!!” Pritam leaves Monty’s collars, Monty “Rahul is only a seven-year-old kid Pritam, the overdosage of drugs affected him both physically and mentally. The doctors have said that even if Rahul recovers from coma, he will not become our old normal Rahul once again”. Pritam is in for a shock. He asks Nitin-Monty to go out and leave him alone for some time. Nitin-Monty try resisting but then Pritam shouts at them to go out. After Nitin-Monty leave, Pritam cuddles himself on his bed, catches his pillow tightly and remembers all his moments with Rahul from the first time he held him in his arms to the last time when Rahul shouted out Papa before he lost his consciousness. He murmurs, “Papa is sorry Rahul. I had promised that I will take care of you as both Mamma and Papa but failed in doing that” after saying that he weeps bitterly holding onto to his pillow.

After some time, Nitin-Monty take Pritam on a wheelchair to the room where Rahul was kept in a ventilator. Pritam sees his son breathing heavily under the support of the ventilator and breaks down. Nitin-Monty try consoling him and advise him to stay strong. Just then Pritam remembers about Vishaka and asks them about her. Nitin, “She is not your same old Vishaka anymore Pritam.” Monty “That’s what I was saying that time but you did not listen to it fully asking about Rahul”. Pritam “Where is she?” Nitin-Monty look sadly at each other.

Government Mental Health Centre Delhi

- Vishaka is seen screaming in her cell with the doctors and nurses trying to control her. She shouts, “Pritam Chaudhary…I won’t leave him, he spoilt my entire life….I lost everything because of him…my dream, my child, my family….I lost everything because he chose his duty!!....She keeps screaming….I’m not going to leave that Pritam Chaudhary!!” and tries to break loose out of control while screaming when the doctors and hospital staff stop her. Pritam comes there supported with a walking stick along with Nitin-Monty. Vishaka sees him and stops her violent behaviour for a while. The doctors and hospital staff let go of her for a while when they see her milder behavior. Vishaka slowly walks towards the gate of her cell where Pritam was standing, she sees him and asks in a normal tone, “Why Pritam? What had I done to you that you made my life hell? You gave me greed of an apple and threw the same apple into the sea…why?” Pritam is deeply guilt-ridden with Vishaka’s words, keeps looking downwards. After a few seconds, he takes up courage and says, “I’m sorry Vishaka….” Vishaka turns violent, catches Pritam’s collar and asks, “Sorry? Is that all you have to say now ACP Pritam Chaudhary? You promised me that you will help me acheive my dreams which you did not fulfil? You gave a family to an orphan which you snatched back prioritizing your duty and….” Vishaka starts weeps bitterly as she remembers about Rahul, “What about our son Pritam? You had promised you will become both mother-father for him and at last you couldn’t even that promise of yours? You sacrificed his life too for your duty…Why? Why? Answer me!!” Vishaka turns even more violent and hurts Pritam while demanding answers from him. Nitin-Monty try to free her clutches from him while the doctor and other hospital staff too try pulling her backwards. Finally, they succeed and Vishaka is forcefully taken to her bed yet she does not stop giving Pritam threatens, “It was our hatred for drugs which brought us together Pritam and now it is that same hatred for drugs which has broken us apart. Till now you only saw my love Pritam Chaudhary now you will see my hatred, I will not leave you, I will make your life a living hell just like you made mine!! Mark my words….” She keeps screaming trying to free herself. The doctor seeing her go out of control decides to give her shock treatment. As Vishaka is given shock Pritam’s heart aches miserably seeing her condition as he felt responsible for it. He couldn’t take anymore of it, goes forward a bit farther from Vishaka’s cell, sits down with his hands held close to his ears and shouts, “Ahhhh”

Present day

- Pritam wakes up in the Sakhuja’s room realizing that he was dreaming about all that happened. Just then, he hears Ansh’s cry with Amrita and the whole family getting worried for Ansh. Pritam gets tearful remembering his Rahul and then Vishaka’s words flashes through his mind. He says, “Vishaka was right I lost everything because of my loyalty towards my duty yet she did not know I never prioritized my duty over my family. Both were equally important to me but it was my bad fate that I lost my family while doing my duty…I had always tried to understand and support your side Vishaka and I felt that you too will do the same but you always accused me for all that happened and made my life…” He remembers how Vishaka had tortured him in the past one year after she got released from the mental hospital. When Rahul woke up from coma, Pritam had decided to celebrate his birthday which they missed out but Vishaka takes Rahul away from him, puts him in a child care center with false charges on Pritam prohibiting him to meet Rahul. Then she goes to the court for their divorce when Pritam was not ready for it. Finally, she files a custody case with again putting false charges on Pritam such that Pritam is agonized without being able to meet Rahul. Furthermore, Vishaka also puts false charges against Pritam to make him lose his job which was when Pritam decided to continue his loyalty towards his duty working undercover. His changu-mangu Nitin-Monty who have always backed him in his every mission accompanies him in the undercover mission which was when Pritam and his changu-mangu Nitin-Monty took the identity of “sadakchaap gundas” and started working as dummy “drug smugglers”.

When you love someone deeply and if that person causes you deep pain knowingly or unknowingly then the love towards that person has high possibilities to turn into hatred and deep hatred if he/she was loved deeply. That is what happened between Pritam-Vishaka in this story. Their hatred for drugs made them fall deeply in love with each other and the same reason made them to hate each other deeply

Pritam-Vishaka Love Story

Part-3

- In the first post I had written a track narrating how Rahul meets his death. It is a sad reality existing in the world that children are often crushed in the domestic fights between two parents. The parents often have misunderstandings, ego clashes and varied opinions for which they get into arguments and sometimes into unhealthy fights. The sad reality is that their children too get involved into those unnecessary quarrels which affect their childhood drastically.

- Same happened with Rahul, he was just a 7-year-old kid who never understood for what his parents fought yet was present in most of their fights. His parents too never realized how their clashes were affecting their son. Finally, in a turn of events Rahul paid for his parent’s mistakes with his death. His loss leads to a turmoil of emotions in both his parents and they come to terms with how they went wrong, they were so involved in fighting with each other for him that they never realized what their fights did to him. They feel guilty and ask sorry to their son who is no more. Although when alive Rahul could never stop his parents from fighting, he succeeded in doing that post his death. Rahul’s death leads both Pritam-Vishaka in such a state that they could no longer think about the clash between each yet only empathize with each other.

Vishaka’s Redemption Track

Vishaka who is back in the mental hospital post Rahul’s death was not as hostile as she had been earlier. She sat on her bed and kept staring at the wall whole day long. The hospital staff came and gave her food, which she sometimes ate otherwise stayed starving. While staring at the wall, all she did was recollect all about her past. She remembered how during her childhood she was the favourite of both her parents being the only child in the family. One fine day, some goons enter their house while trying to escape from the policemen. These men were drug smugglers and themselves savage drug addicts. They threaten a the then child Vishaka and her family not to alarm the police of their presence. The family gives in to their demands in fear. While the men stay in the house, they take some food and mix drugs into it for their own purpose. But, at that moment the police reach there, arrest them and save the family. Unfortunately, after all the commotion, Vishaka’s parents not knowing about drugs mixed with the food, consume the same and meet their death. Vishaka became an orphan and was left alone since then. She was given shelter and necessary essentials for her living by her close relatives until she became 18. When, Vishaka turns 18, she decides that she will go into a profession which will raise voice against crimes such as of illegal drug racket business so she decides to become a journalist who will voice out against the crimes in the country and thereby become the best in the line. To fend for herself, she took up part-time jobs by helping out criminal lawyers and higher rank policemen which was how she first met Mansoor Uncle and then later on Pritam. Vishaka soon recollects her whole life with Pritam and becomes agonized as she starts remembering Rahul. She says, “I’m really sorry my child, even though I loved you I never showed it to you instead only used you as a pawn to unleash my hatred on your Papa, perhaps because I never could get the full love of my parents that I never knew how to shower my love onto you with my full heart. Now when I longer have you nor your Papa with me, I understood that all my hatred was for nothing” Vishaka remembers how her hatred had made her totally bitter that she never realized the difference between “just” and “unjust” when she waged war against Pritam, tormenting and torchering him using their son which made her lose the only two people she had left to be called as her “family”. As she keeps pondering, the moment of Rahul’s death flashes through her mind. Vishaka remembers how she had created the whole scenario because she wanted to win over her hatred on Pritam and finally, she lost in her own game by losing her beloved one. Soon the sound of gunshot rings constantly in her ears, she becomes perturbed, starts crying bitterly and becomes violent. The doctor and hospital staff seeing her deteriorating condition come into the cell fast and inject a sedative. Vishaka gradually starts feeling dizzy with the intake of the injection and gradually closes her eyes with tears rolling down from them, she weakly says, “I’m Rahul…I’m sorry Pritam” before shutting her eyes completely.

Pritam’s empathy towards Vishaka

Pritam completely heartbroken post Rahul’s death is sitting in the Sakhuja’s room with Rahul’s toys and drawing. He hugs them tightly recalling all the happy moments he had with his son during his childhood and growing up years and soon the voice of gunshot rings in his ears. He puts down everything he had in his hand in fear and has a sudden reality check. He realizes the gunshot was a nightmare from his past and now Rahul is gone away from him for real. He cries bitterly and shouts, “What did you do Vishaka? What did you do? Your hatred was for me but it was our son who paid for it” while he is saying that he lies onto the floor, continues crying bittering, hitting his head being guilty for not being to save his son. Just then his phone rings, Pritam picks up his phone which had Nitin-Monty on the other side, Nitin “Pritam are you sure you want to take the entire responsibility of Vishaka’s treatment?” Pritam “I think we already had a discussion on that” Monty “But Pritam you know she is dangerous; she will try to harm you again once she gets better” Pritam “Even if she does what else is there with me for her to snatch and show her hatred?” Nitin-Monty become silent and sadly look on. Pritam continues, “Listen both of you I know you are worried for me yet frankly I hold myself partially responsible for this condition of Vishaka” Nitin “But Pritam you had tried your level best to support for all that she asked you to do” Monty “And she accused you all along without looking at things from your side of the story” Pritam “Yet again Rahul wasn’t her choice but mine…I thought Rahul was our last hope of our zindagi together who will bring us together and bring happiness in our zindagi as kids are the symbol of our happiness but I did not know he himself will get crushed in the mess of mine and Vishaka’s zindagi” Nitin-Monty look on sadly unable to answer back. Pritam “I’m sure my Rahul will not want his mother to be in this condition because he loved her and now fulfilling his last wishes is one of the ways through which I can keep my Rahul alive inside my heart” Nitin-Monty nod agreeing with Pritam and tell him that they will do the required for Vishaka’s treatment. After they hang up, Pritam lies down again on the floor and ponders, “I know there is nothing left between us Vishaka but still you are Rahul’s mother and I will never forget that fact!!” and he gradually dozes off.

This was a short part because it does not have much actions. The main part of this segment is the monologues of the two characters which gives a taste of their emotions

- Before moving on the to the next two stories which are of Rima-Angad-Meera-Kabir, I want to quick insight about the stories:

- In both the stories all the four characters are present yet in the first story more focus will be on "Angad-Meera" and in the second story on "Kabir-Rima".

- This is because in my stories all the four characters have interlinked relationships

- Lastly, regarding Rima, I was really curious to know who will play Rima in the series but from where I left watching the show as far as I know Rima is yet to be introduced

- In that case, I had to give a face for my character of Rima because it makes things easier to write and also to make things easier for my readers to imagine

- Since in my story Rima is opposite Kabir, I chose the actress "Anahita Bhoosan" because I felt she will look good opposite Kabir

- Yet the most important reason that I chose her face is because I felt she will fit perfectly into the bill of the "character" which I have drawn for Rima

- I will share a photo of hers below to check if anyone does not know who it is

Angad-Meera Love Story

Introduction

Part 1:

- Angad-Meera post their break-up try settling in their own lives focusing more on their career and families.

- On one side, Meera is prejudiced by Angad not trying to understand her, when in reality it is the other way round. On the other side Angad is completely put off by Meera's hurtful acts.

- Finally, Meera tries to forget Angad completely starting afresh with Kabir when a misfortune strikes in her life.

- On the other side Angad after learning that Meera has moved on, tries to start afresh with Rima gets pulled back to Meera because of the misfortune.

Part 2:

- When a misfortune hits your life and the person who you hated a lot because of a "misunderstanding" becomes your strongest support then at that moment you start learning about a better part in that individual which you had not seen earlier. Something like that happened for Meera when misfortune hits her life and she learns about her father's lie. At that time, she starts seeing a better half of Angad which she had failed to notice earlier.

- Moving on becomes absolutely difficult when you are around someone who has caused you pain but still have feelings for them. Knowingly or unknowingly, those feelings resurge within a person and become stronger when a misfortune comes to that person and the same happened with Angad.

Part 3:

- Whom will you choose? Love or family? This part contains an event of dilemmic situations for both Angad-Meera when they are forced to choose between love and their family when both are equally important for them.

Note:

- I'm further "subdividing" the 3 parts of the "two" stories in smaller parts because when I'm writing every part it is becoming too long.

- The stories will have only 3 parts in "total" yet it will be divided further and posted in smaller parts because of their "length".

Angad-Meera Love Story

Part-1

- It was a really gloomy day with Meera working on a really important assignment which was given to her by Sethi. On the other side, Angad gets a call from his workplace that he needs to bring a crucial document which was at his home, the very next day. He opens his cupboard and searches all over inside for finding out the document, as he finally gets his hands onto the document, he pulls it outside, when something gets thrown out along with the file with a clang onto the floor and continues to clang until it stops rolling. On the other side, Meera goes towards her drawer inside her dressing table searching for something and there a shiny object comes to her notice. As she moves her hand in to take it out, she soon holds onto Angad’s engagement ring. While Angad in his room, turns around to see what had fallen, gets surprised to find Meera’s engagement ring, he bends down and takes it into his hands. Both feel chills in their body as they hold onto the rings in their hands. They remember the day when they had worn the rings on each other’s fingers and their moments together before and after their engagement.

December 2019

- Angad and Meera had never thought about a relationship when their families spoke about it. They were just good friends as their fathers had been also good childhood friends. But when the families spoke to them about a relationship together and asked their opinions on it, Angad was left speechless while Meera instantly gave a yes. Angad unable to decide what answer to give to his elders, decides to discuss Meera in person about it before arriving to a favourable decision. The night after Angad-Meera’s relation was decided by the two families, Angad on his bed was unable to sleep thinking about whether he should a “yes or no” for the relation. He kept thinking, “Meera is a really sweet girl and I like her too but a relationship with her? I have never thought about it till now? I always wanted to fall madly in love with the girl whom I will get married to before marriage but now Dadaji and Papaji seem to be so happy with Meera’s relation for me, what should I do? what should I do?” Suddenly, he had got an idea which made him get sitting on his bed, saying, “Shall I go to Meera now and ask her?” he pauses a while realizing Kabir was sleeping right next to him, so he continued to murmur silently, making sure that he was not heard by his brother. Pondering again and again on whether to or not meet Meera, he turns around to check the time and notices that it was 2:00 am in the morning. He continued to mumble to himself, “It is too late and going right now to a girl’s house will be…. but then she is also my would be…yeah she is not my would be yet…but still…. I will go right now” He got up, checked himself in the mirror, smelt his breath, took out Kabir’s perfume applied it all over his body, made sure he looked good and then finally sneaked out of the house through the window of his and Kabir’s bedroom.

- Once Angad leaves, Kabir opens his eyes, gets up and checks if Angad was out of the vicinity. Getting assured that Angad was not anywhere around, he gave out a sad smile while remembering their childhood. Karan was always a very studious brother of Angad-Kabir and thus Karan spent more time in his books than playing with his brothers. Angad-Kabir being one below the other, with very less age gap between each other (while Soni being too young) were the ones who always hanged out together. During a lot of those moments, Meera and her brother Navin joined them (Divya was also too young to join them). Kabir-Navin greatly disliked each other and often fought together so at that moment, Meera always supported Kabir over her brother. Since then, Kabir had taken a liking for Meera, became best friends with her and as they grew up his liking slowly developed into a strong crush which only his besties Sunny-Rony knew about. Kabir often hanged around Meera because of his liking for her and had also decided to reveal it soon but that day he had been through a heartbreak. Fb In the Sakhujas living room Kabir is busing repairing his grandfather’s ring light. KK Sehgal comes there and asks for his father and grandfather. Kabir greets KK and calls out his dad and grandad. Soon the whole family came to the living room along with Dadaji and Guneet except for Karan-Angad who had been to the office, Soni who had been to her college and Kamli was busy hanging the clothes in the terrace. The Sakhujas greeted KK warmly and made him have a seat. Once the men except for Kabir took their respective seats. Guneet started, “So Krishnakant what made you give us this surprise visit?” KK hesitantly said, “Look, Guneet I have come here to talk for my daughter’s relation” The Sakhujas are surprised at that announcement, Kabir feels his heart beating fast. Guneet confused asks, “You mean?” Krishnakant cuts on, “I mean I want I have come here to discuss about my daughter Meera’s relation with your son Angad”. The Sakhujas are surprised once again as they never had any thoughts about it earleir except for Kabir who felt a hard thump in his heart. Guneet, “But KK, we are family friends in fact you are one of my close friends since childhood, is it really required to mix up friendship with relations? Because you know things will turn different between us once we became relatives.” KK answered, “I know which is why I want to give my daughter only into your family as I don’t feel that Meera can get a better in-laws than the Sakhujas. Also, right now Meera can’t get a better guy in her life than Angad. He is well-settled with good income and supports your family just like all our favourite Karan because after all he is Karan’s brother and I know how much Karan tries to keep Amrita happy along with fulfilling the needs of his other family members…” Amrita smiles blushingly at that “…and I wish the same for my Meera” while saying that, he holds onto the hands of Dadaji and continues requesting, “Bauji please accept my proposal, don’t look at me as a family friend yet as a desperate father who wants to get the best for his daughter, please say yes na?” Bauji keeps his hands onto the hands of KK who was still holding onto his hands, “I am okay if our children Angad and Meera are okay with it” KK smiles cheerfully at his response and hugs him, “Thank you so much Bauji for accepting my proposal, regarding Meera I’m sure she won’t have any issues with this decision of mine, you just ask your Angad, if he says yes for this relation, then let’s make it final” a tear rolls down Kabir’s cheek as he hears KK’s words. Fb ends. In the present, tears continue to roll down Kabir’s cheek as he remembers all the events. He then takes out his purse, opens it and looks at the family photograph kept inside, he slowly lifts the family photo and looks at Meera’s photo below it, gives out a sad smile saying, “I thought I will soon tell you about my feelings for you Meera and take our relations of friendship to a different stage but it seems you were not meant for me but for Angad, if you are meant for my brother then alright I won’t come in between, you were and always will be my best friend”

At Meera’s house which at that moment was not a two-storey rich mansion but a simple middle-class house

- Angad goes near the window of Meera’s room and says, “Thank god there was no need to climb any steep pipes to get here, it’s not my thing to climb them only Kabir can do it” As he is about to knock at the window, it opens with Meera standing in front of him. Angad surprisingly asks her, “How did you know I have come?” Meera replies “I heard you murmuring outside” Angad “So you hadn’t fallen asleep yet?” Meera “If I had then would I be standing here and talking to you and don’t stay there, someone will notice you, come inside” she gives her hand for him to climb inside, uses all her force and pulls him inside. As they she was doing it, she gets pulled backwards, falls down with Angad falling on top of her in an awkward position. Both soon sense the awkwardness which makes Angad quickly gets up. Then he helps Meera to stand on her feet. As both are back in their position, a strange silence fills between them, Angad tries to start but is unable to. Finally, Meera breaks the ice saying “So what made Mr. Angad Sakhuja come to a girl’s room at 2:00 am in the morning?” Angad looks annoyingly at that and replies, “Oh hello this is not any girl’s room, this is the room of my…” Angad pauses himself as he sees Meera looking at him with lifted eyebrows. Meera “Why did you stop continue…” Angad “I mean I came to discuss that” Meera “Discuss what?” Angad slowly turns away trying not to look at Meera and continues “About…about…about…us” Meera smiles naughtily at his back and asks, “About us? What about us?” Angad turns around surprised and asks, “You don’t know…KK uncle didn’t inform you anything?” Meera asks “Inform me what?” Angad “About our….” He pauses again seeing Meera’s naughty smile and asks “Are you playing with me?” Meera replies “Yes and why shouldn’t I play with my would-be husband?” Angad turns all red on hearing that. Meera continues, “Uff…oh Angad, why are you acting like the would be bride here since the time you came? What is wrong with you? Are you not happy with this relation?” Angad “Nothing like that Meera, it’s just that you were always my good friend but I have not seen you in that way till now” Meera “So is there any problem in seeing me in that way from now on?” Angad turns red again and hesitantly tells, “Not like that too, see Meera I know you since childhood and we were always good friends yet I always wanted to madly fall in love with the girl whom I will get married to before starting a new relation with her” Meera “So start counting the days from now on” Angad “Huh? Count the days for what?” Meera starts inching close towards Angad. Angad gets nervous with Meera inching closer and tries to get away, slowly moving backwards as she comes closer and closer and finally stops when he faces the wall behind him, unable to move backwards anymore. Gradually, Meera comes really close to Angad and at that moment his heart starts fluttering really fast in nervousness, as Meera stood close enough to Angad, she tells him “Meera Sehgal loves facing new challenges, now the latest challenge she got to face is to woo Mr. Angad Sakhuja and trust me Mr. Sakhuja she will win this challenge.” Angad getting surprised asks, “Wait a minute, first tell me why do you even want to take this challenge?” Meera goes even closer to him with her hands around his neck which makes Angad feel even more uneasy. He wished to move from that awkward position yet couldn’t because of the wall behind him and Meera holding on to his neck. So he looks away, but Meera catches his chin and makes him look at her, “Well listen Mr. Sakhuja there are two reasons for me to take this challenge, the first and most important reason, just like my dad, I too always wanted a loving and caring family like yours as my in-laws and a husband like Amrita Bhabhi has” Angad asks, “Alright that being said why me? There is also Kabir left just behind me, yes, he is a quite careless and immature but he is also your best-friend, right? He does listen to everything you ask him to do, so if you would have asked him to get settled, he would surely done that. Regarding KK uncle, I’m sure he will not go against your wishes on which Sakhuja brother you want to get married to? So why me when Kabir would have been a better choice for you?” And for that question, Meera goes near Angad’s ear and murmurs, “Because I have always had a small crush on you”. Angad’s heart skips a beat on hearing that and for the first time he felt his heart fluttering faster and harder in a different manner other than out of nervosity, when Meera was around him. Meera continues, “Yes Kabir is my best-friend and I do spend a lot of time with him, but I have never felt special for him like I felt for you. Frankly, unlike Kabir you have a very boring personality…” Meera laughs while saying that while Angad gets embarrassed. Meera continues, “but there was always something interesting in your serious and sophisticated personality that I got attracted to it and I always wished that I got a husband more like you and not really like Kabir. So, I felt it was like a blessing in disguise when dad asked me about a relationship with you” Angad was completely awestricken with Meera’s words that unknowingly he got lost in her eyes when she said all that and soon Meera reciprocated the same. However, they were soon shaken from their position when they heard KK who had been in the kitchen to get water, coughing. Angad frees himself from the awkward position and nervously says, “I think it’s getting too late; I should leave now or else I won’t be able to get up on time to go for work tomorrow” but before he could leave, Meera catches his hands and asks, “You never said if you want to have a relation with me or not? Tell me yes or no” Angad takes off her hand saying, “We should meet tomorrow and discuss more things then” and quickly goes near the window. Meera unable to understand asks, “Discuss about what?” Angad replies, “About what all we should do before and after the engagement” and he disappears in a jiffy after saying that. Meera is delighted with Angad’s response and gives out a blushful bright smile with her hands kept below her chin. Outside, Angad walks a short distance from Meera’s house, turns back looks at her window and remembers all that Meera had said a few minutes back, blushes, smiles brightly with his right hand behind his head and slowly walks back towards his home.

- Meera did succeed in winning the challenge she told about as with her regular dates with Angad before and after their engagement, she had slowly started to maker her place in Angad’s heart with him gradually falling for her. Everything was going absolutely well in their relationship until the invasion of Coronavirus in their India and into their city. Corona brought a great impact on Sakhujas and it made things even more difficult for Angad-Meera’s relationship. Sakhujas lost their first son fighting with corona which put the entire responsibility on the shoulders of their next son which was Angad. To make matters worse, Angad’s private firm which was running on a loss at that time starting suspending their employees of which Angad became one of the victims. That was the first stage where his relationship with Meera started falling apart because every relationship works well when both dedicate time for each other. Unfortunately, Angad was going through a very bad crisis in his life with his whole family’s responsibility on his shoulders while he also had the responsibility of Meera who would soon enter in his life. He did not have the courage to tell Meera that he was not in a position to welcome her into his life as it will turn things more difficult for both of them. Thus, Angad started avoiding Meera and spending lesser time with her which gradually started drifting them apart. By the time, Angad finally gathered courage to tell the truth to Meera, KK Sehgal who had now turned rich, started having second thoughts about getting Meera married to Angad or letting her become a part of the Sakhuja family which led to the dramatic turn of events where Meera broke her relationship with Angad and the Sakhujas.

Back to present day

- Angad remembers how Meera had cut ties with him and his family, broke their relationship without giving him a chance to explain and broke his heart by returning the ring and his gifts. As all that flashes through his mind, he folds his fist hard with the ring in his hand. The ring pokes his hand making it to bleed.

- Amrita comes to Angad and Kabir’s room calling out for Angad and gets shocked seeing blood dripping down his hands. She shouts out Angad’s name which was when Angad comes into reality, out of his dreams of painful past memories with Meera. As Angad looks towards Amrita, she asks him what was he thinking about that he can’t even realize that he is hurting himself? He tries to hide the truth and resist that question from Amrita, yet, Amrita pressurizes him to open his fists and finally Angad gives in to Amrita’s demand. As, Angad opens his fists, Amrita sees Meera’s engagement ring in it and gets looking sadly at him. She takes out the first aid kit and starts tying bandage around his hand. While doing the bandage, she says, “Angad no matter how much you try to deny you are still holding feelings for Meera and this is a proof of that”. Angad replies, “No bhabhi there is nothing like that, if there was really something which existed between us then by now things would have got sorted out but here instead of getting better, it only turned to the worst” Amrita “Why didn’t you talk it out with Meera later?” Angad “Talk? bhabhi she never wanted to…She was so blinded in her father’s lie that she couldn’t look past that, I thought things will get better with time but you know bhabhi she also sided with her father’ lie” Amrita shockingly asks, “What?” Angad “Yes bhabhi it was the day when we met in the café when Sinha Sir was also present. At that moment KK Uncle was already lying about mine and Meera’s relationship to Sinha Sir and Meera sided with him” Amrita shockingly says “I’m sure that you have some misunderstanding Angad because Meera became emotional when Papaji slapped KK Uncle and reacted based on that but I don’t think she really knows about KK uncle’s lie, Kabir also told me that you have been rude to her recently is it because of the same misunderstanding?” Angad nods. Amrita tells him, “Angad try to look at things from her POV na? She saw KK uncle being slapped in front of her eyes and blindly got lead by his lie.” Angad “Then what about her bhabhi? Did she ever try to understand me or my POV? If she was really serious about our relationship then she would have tried to sort out things between us but she never did, in fact she never gave a second chance to our relation. She was driven by her anger and only acted based on it, well whom am I saying to? You are doing the same with Pritam.” Amrita is ambushed and asks, “How did Pritam come in between?” Angad shakes his head and says, “Bhabhi what I mean is that why do women expect men to have a higher “EQ”? I have always seen you taunt Pritam saying he is an arrogant and wild character who doesn’t know anything about other’s emotions but believe me Bhabhi in all my interactions with Pritam I have learnt that he understands you and your pain the most than any of us do. I feel that you are so immersed in your own pain that you are failing to understand Pritam.” Amrita is filled with mixed emotions on hearing that, she starts over-rolling the bandage around Angad’s hand, confused in thoughts about Pritam while Angad stops her and continues “It is the same case with Meera, bhabhi, Meera is so focused on her own pain that she can’t understand what I’m going through. A relationship is like a “clap of hand” bhabhi, it will only work when both parties put efforts together.” Angad sighs sadly while saying that. Amrita feels bad for him; however, her mind was constantly ringing Pritam’s name with thoughts of what Angad had just said about Pritam. She caresses Angad’s face and tells, “If Meera is meant for you, Angad then she will surely return to your life”. She asks him to come for dinner and slowly leaves still in thoughts of Pritam. Angad looks on at Meera’s engagement ring sadly.

Sehgal House

- Meera frowns angrily at Angad’s engagement ring. She looks away and says, “Why am even getting worried seeing his engagement ring, he never “understands” me nor my feelings and disrespects my dad. I don’t need someone like him in my life.” She goes near the dustbin while saying that, keeps frowning at the ring and throws it into the dustbin. Just then Divya-Navin come there calling out for their sister and notice her tensed face. They ask her the matter, “She chides the question and asks them why they came looking for her” Navin starts “Di that Kabir called, it seems you did not pick up his call, so he called in the landline, di why do you keep in touch with creeps like him, Angad bhai is way better…” Meera berates him by cutting in, “Shut up Navin! Why do you always have a problem with Kabir? And don’t even compare him with Angad. Angad never understood my feelings even though we were in a relationship. Kabir understands me and my feelings.” Divya continues, “Di I agree Navin is wrong about Kabir but you are also wrong about Angad jiju! You are expecting too much from him at the same time you are not trying to understand him or his feelings. Di, you should also remember that it was not just his responsibility to save the relationship, it was yours too as both of you were into the relationship. But you don’t seem to see your own mistakes and putting the whole blame on jiju alone.” Meera’s eyes widen in anger at her sister’s words. She gets enraged and shouts, “Shut up Divya, how dare you talk to me like that? And you are just a kid, you don’t know anything about relationships. I will handle my own relationships and will decide whom I want to keep in my life, Angad or Kabir! And stop calling Angad as jiju, jiju, he is not your jiju anymore! Now both of you don’t spoil my mood more and get out from my room.” Navin-Divya slowly leave. Once they are out, Navin in a lower voice tells Divya, “What was the need to discuss about hers and Angad bhai’s relation and listen from her. Even I like Angad bhai more than that Kabir but it is Meera di’s life after all, let her do whatever she wants.” Divya replies, “But isn’t she also our sister bhai? And it is also our responsibility to correct our siblings if they are wrong and I genuinely feel Meera di was very wrong in the way she treated Angad jiju…” Navin “Not…” Divya “Yes, I know he is not our jiju anymore but I still wish all the misunderstandings between them get cleared and they sort out the things between them. I wish Apa was here, she could have handled Meera di in a better way.” Divya sadly leaves from there after saying that while Navin looks on lost in thoughts on what Divya just said.

- Inside Meera’s room, Meera keeps pondering, “I have just had enough of Angad. I don’t want to listen about him nor know about him anymore.” Soon Navin’s words flashes through her mind, “Find someone else, since Angad has now left you” Meera continues, “Although Navin told that in anger, he was right, I need to find someone else in my life so that everything about Angad is erased from my life and it does not come back to me!”

Next day, At S & P Media

- Sethi appreciates both Meera-Kabir for their good teamwork on the ad campaign shoot where they worked as models together. That particular campaign had brought a huge profit to the company. Everyone cheer for Meera-Kabir and they smile cheerfully being proud of their work. After Sethi leaves appreciating and congratulating them for their good work and the rest of the staff too get back to work. Kabir comes close to Meera and tells her, “See Meera, we both make a great team together, whenever we both are together, we always make things work out the best…” Meera keeps smiling while Kabir unconsciously blurts out, “Believe me Meera, I’m the best option to be your life partner, you should have started a relationship with me instead of Angad” only then Kabir realizes what he blurted out while Meera gives him a shocked expression. Meera questions, “What did you say?” Kabir hesitantly replies, “Nothing was just saying we make a great team together” Meera “After that” Kabir again hesitantly says, “we together will always make things work out the best” Meera angrily bangs her fists on her desk. Kabir gets scared while the other staff look towards her. Meera calms herself seeing everyone noticing her and once everyone leave their gaze from her, Meera asks Kabir “Didn’t you say that I should have had a relationship with you instead of Angad?” Kabir again hesitantly denies, “No when did I say that?” Meera angrily catches his shirt collar, pulls him towards her and says, “Don’t lie! Tell me the truth!” Kabir gets carried away looking into Meera’s eyes when she pulls him close towards him and gradually reveals all about his feelings, “Look Meera I have always liked you since childhood, I don’t know when it started. I guess it was when you always took my side when that creepo brother of yours used to pick up unnecessary fights with me. It was like I always wanted someone like you who will stand by my side. Then as we grew, my liking for you gradually turned into a strong crush. I was about to reveal my feelings to you but just before that KK Uncle came with your proposal for Angad to our house and after that I hid my feelings because I never wanted to come in-between you and Angad.” Meera is moved by his words and asks, “Do you still have the same feelings for me?” Kabir is surprised by that question and says, “I really don’t know, the only thing I know is that I feel good when you are around me and I purposefully joined S & P because I had always known that you work here.” Meera get shocked on hearing that while Kabir continues “Yet, If I still have feelings, will you give me a chance?” Meera is confused although only the previous day she had wished badly that she found someone to move on from Angad and now when she had the “best” option in front of her, “Kabir” who had been her bestie since childhood and whom she felt understood her feelings better than Angad did. However, still deep down, she didn’t know why her heart shrieked saying that she is going to commit a “big” mistake. She didn’t know why she could not say a “yes” to Kabir right away, when he had everything, she wanted to move on from Angad. She asks “Then what was the whole thing with Dolly”. Kabir blushes and says, “Frankly Meera, I was just using her to get away from you, I did like Dolly but not the way I liked you” Meera felt a chill in her body when she heard that, she thinks, “Am I doing the same thing to Kabir that he did with Dolly, if I say yes now, why is my heart so perplexed?” Kabir snaps asking, “What happened why are you getting lost in thoughts in the middle? Tell me what do you think about taking our relationship into a different stage?” Meera closes her eyes to listen to her heart but then Angad’s face flashes in her mind, she remembers how Guneet had slapped KK demanding dowry and how Angad did not side with her saying her dad was wrong. She clenches her fists hard in anger and say, “Yes, I want to give you a chance.” Kabir confused asks, “Huh?” Meera “I mean you were always my best friend since childhood and when your family did wrong with my father only you understood my feelings not Angad.” Kabir feels pensive on hearing that as he knew Angad wasn’t wrong either, he tries to express it saying, “Look Meera Angad wasn’t…” but Meera cuts in saying, “Oh please now you don’t start talking like Divya, she has the habit of correcting me unnecessarily. I know Angad is your brother but that doesn’t justify what he did with me and my dad.” Kabir becomes silent thinking, “She seems to be so angry with Angad that she is not able to understand what is right and wrong, it’s alright, once her anger cools down, I will make her understand.” He continues, “Okay fine, I won’t talk about Angad or anything related to him yet you trust me right?” Meera nods. Kabir continues, “So right now just think about us?” Meera smiles in acceptance. On one side, Kabir felt extremely happy with Meera’s response and he felt that finally his feelings were reaching its true destination, however on the other side, he felt bad for his brother as he knew Angad still loved Meera.

- As the days passed, Kabir and Meera started spending more time together with their regular lunch dates and outings. Kabir was always on cloud nine when Meera was with him, as he was getting the girl of his dreams in his life. When it was not the same for Meera. She got everything from Kabir, he always made her smile and made her feel happy yet there was something missing in him that she couldn’t comprehend. One fine day, when Meera compliments Kabir on something, he tells her, “Meera it is not really my habit but it is Angad’s, I was just following him. I have always noticed that you like those things in me which are common to Angad….” He then teasingly asks, “Are you trying to find Angad inside me?” Meera face glooms down on hearing that. Kabir notices that and apologizes, “I’m sorry Meera, I did not purposefully ask that. I know that Angad is your closed chapter and you are trying to move on from him. I promise I won’t remind you again about him.” He then hugs her consolingly while saying that, while Meera is still lost in thoughts, “Even though Kabir asked that jokingly, is it really like that? Am I trying to find Angad in Kabir? No no, Kabir is right Angad is my closed chapter and I don’t want anything about Angad to return to my life.” and Meera hugs Kabir tightlyin thoughts of not wanting Angad to return to her life, while, Kabir’s smiles cheerfully feeling Meera reciprocate his hug.

- A few days later, Meera and Kabir plan a lunch date in a famous café near their office. They reach there and take a comfortable place to sit without noticing Angad was already there having an official meeting with one of his clients. Meera and Kabir give the order and have their happy chat while Angad finishes his meeting, takes leaves from his client and turns to leave when he sees Meera and Kabir together. He was shocked to see them there and approaches them. The duo were also surprised to see him there. As Angad, goes near them, he avoids Meera and asks Kabir what was he doing there. Meera was miffed by Angad avoiding her and responds, “Why what is the problem if Kabir goes out on lunch with his colleague and best friend?” Angad was shocked to hear that as Kabir had not revealed till then that he worked in S & P along with Meera. Kabir looks disappointingly at Meera, while Angad gave him questioningly looks. Meera continues, “What is your problem Angad? Are you angry to see Kabir here or are you angry that he has an amicable relation with your ex-fiance while you don’t?” Angad gets annoyed and asks, “Why are you bringing in that topic here, Meera?” Meera “Why shouldn’t I? I can see how much you are displeased with Kabir’s friendliness towards me? If you are so jealous with this, I wonder what your reaction will be when you find out that I have found someone else in my life.” Both Angad and Kabir get shocked on hearing that. Angad in pain while Kabir in fear. Meera continues to Angad, “Why are you looking at me like that? You thought that I wouldn’t have move on right? I think you too should find someone in your life so that you won’t be coming back to my life again and again” Angad holds on himself straight with great difficulty, takes a deep breath and says, “Fine I will find someone for myself and I have no issues with you finding someone else in your life after all you were just my fiancé and not my private property. You have all rights to decide what you want in your life.” He then gets close to her and says, “But remember one thing Meera, "relations are as feeble as glass" if not handled well, it will just take a second to break them just like the way you broke our relation.” Meera was awestruck by Angad’s words. He quickly turns around and leaves from there after saying that while Kabir keeps calling out from behind. However, Angad does pay heed and walks out of the café. Once Angad goes out of the café, Kabir confronts Meera, “What was the need to say all that to Angad? You know he loves you right?” Meera “Love? If he loved me then why couldn’t he understand me?” Kabir bangs his forehead, “Meera you still don’t know the full truth and I don’t know how to explain it to you because you are not ready to listen to anything against KK Uncle, yet trust me Meera, Angad did really love you because I have seen love for you in his eyes.” And for the first time, Meera felt bad for being rude to Angad. Kabir continues, “Okay let’s leave all that, now we both are in a relationship and from whatever you told Angad, on one side I was scared that you will reveal everything about us to Angad while on the other side now I am so happy that you finally accepted our relation.” Kabir hugs Meera in happiness, while this time Meera could not reciprocate his hug as her heart was feeling bad for Angad.

- Angad who had driven off in a hurry from the café reaches a park, sits on an empty bench and cries his heart out remembering Meera’s words. After a few seconds, when he sees people around him, noticing him, he slowly wipes his tears saying, “Why am I feeling bad for losing Meera after all it is her life and she has all the rights to move on.” He then remembers her words, “Find someone else for yourself” He says, “Meera is right, I too just find someone else and get away from her thoughts.” Just then his phone rings which had Sinha Sir on the other end. Angad calms himself, picks up the calls and responds, “Yes Sir, I have met that client and showed him our presentation. He was really happy with it and wants to go forward with this project.” Sinha gets happy with the news and informs Angad that his daughter Rima will returning from UK the very next day and they will be handling the project together, he also asks Angad to make sure that Rima gets a warm welcome as Rima has not stayed in India for long. Angad agrees and disconnects the call. After that, Angad gets thinking “Tomorrow Rima is coming and I should focus more on my work…” then sadly thinking about Meera and her hurtful words he continues, “…and gradually forget all about my past.”

Sakhuja house

Angad was avoiding Kabir since the previous day while Kabir was trying to talk to him since the moment he came back from his workplace. Although Kabir was relieved that Angad did not reveal about him working in S & P Media along with Meera to the family, he was irked that his brother was constantly avoiding him. In the morning, both were getting ready to go their office in their room. Angad was wearing his socks when Kabir finally breaks the ice, “Angad this is just too much, since yesterday I’m trying to talk to you yet all you do is avoid me, this is not fair!” Angad annoyingly puts his socks down and replies, “Alright tell me what do you want to talk?” Kabir surprisingly starts, “Listen Angad I’m sorry for whatever happened yesterday” Angad “Okay fine anything else” Kabir again gets surprised and continues “And thank you for not revealing about my workplace to anyone in the house. If you would have then I can’t even imagine what would have been Mumma’s reaction be” Angad shakes his head, “But why are hiding it? You could have revealed it atleast to me and Bhabhi!” Kabir “Listen Angad I desperately needed a job and you also know that I had played crooked to get this job and, in that case, if I revealed that I worked in S & P Media along with Meera then I was scared that everyone will ask me to leave the job!!” Angad gets assured and says, “Alright I too will not reveal anything to anyone for now but you should do it yourself once things better between Mumma and KK Uncle.” Kabir nods. Angad gets up to leave but before going out, he pauses for a moment and says, “Take care of Meera, she is your best-friend and at present only you can handle her well” Kabir nods indicating “yes” and asks Angad if he still has feeling for Meera. Angad takes a deep breath and says, “Relations can be killed when they are torn apart yet "it is not easy to kill your feelings" connected with those relations.” Angad gives a sad gaze to Kabir as he says that while Kabir feels bad for his brother. After saying that, Angad quickly leaves. Kabir looks on sadly and says, “It’s not easy to move on Angad but I truly wish you do. Once you too find someone for yourself like Meera did, I will reveal to you first about me and Meera and I’m sure that you will understand.” Soon, Kabir too dresses himself neatly as he had a new promo shoot with Meera, takes leave from his family and cheerfully leaves.

- Outside he is met by his besties, Sunny-Ronny who ask him why was he looking so happy. He narrates to them all that happened between him and Meera in the past few weeks. Sunny-Ronny ask Kabir if he was not feeling bad for Angad. Kabir says that Angad himself wants Meera to stay happy so he will understand when I will explain to him. He continues, “Meera is my ray of hope (zindagi) and now no-one can replace that place which Meera, my ray of hope (zindagi) has in my heart”. Just then, a long white luxurious car comes driving rashly into that street, splashing a pool of wet mud all over Kabir’s clothes. Kabir calls out behind the car, “What kind of crazy man are you? Don’t you have eyes or senses?” The car halts right there and the door opens. Sunny-Ronny come to Kabir and the three look on. Out from the car, steps out a young girl wearing really short clothes which were well above her knees. As she turns around flinging her hair to the other side, Sunny-Ronny drool over her with their mouths wide open while Kabir looks on angrily at her. She comes near Kabir while Kabir gives a completely displeased glare at her. On the other hand, Sunny-Ronny still have their mouths open drooling at her. The girl is about to say something but before that, Kabir starts, while wiping all the dirt from himself, “Oh so it was not a man but a woman, no matter such horrible driving. I can’t understand which idiot gives you cars to drive.” The girl is annoyed and ambushed with that remark while he checks her from top to bottom and continues, “Seeing your extremely long clothes in this cold season. I can sense that some rich man has given his rich spoilt daughter the licence to drive however she wants on public roads? What do you rich people think about yourselves?” The girl getting extremely annoyed screams, “Shut uppppp!!!” such that all the other by-passers get looking at them and Sunny-Ronny force their mouths shut in fear, gulping their saliva. She continues, “Now listen to me you creep! Firstly, yes me and my dad are rich but why do you have a problem with rich people? It’s not our fault that we became rich. Secondly, you are nobody to comment on my clothes, it’s my choice to wear whatever I want and lastly for whatever happened with you I had come here to apologize as I am quite new here and do not know much about the roads here but seeing your creepy behaviour, I understood that you don’t deserve my apology. Yet there is still something I want to do….” She goes back to her car, takes out a packet from the backseat, comes back to Kabir, thumps it onto his hands, saying, “This has clothes which will compensate for the damage I did to you!!!” After that both keep staring angrily at each other for a few seconds. Soon the girl turns arounds and goes towards her car. Sunny “Uff…what a girl Kabir!” Ronny “Her clothes, her looks, her attitude…she seems to be a spicy chilli!” Kabir shouts at them, “Shut up both of you! Can’t you see her “horrible attitude”? You want such a “chudail” in your life?” Sunny-Ronny get disappointed. Sunny, “Bhai you are talking as if you are jealous…” Ronny “…because we are looking at your girl”. Kabir annoyingly, “My girl? I already have a girl in my life and I will never invite a “chudail” like her into my life! You two get that!” Sunny-Ronny nod. Kabir continues, “Come let’s go, I’m getting late”. The three turn around to leave but before leaving, Kabir turns once again towards the girl, while the girl too turns towards him before getting into her car, turns around towards him. Both keep giving glowering looks at each other with Kabir pronouncing “Chudail!” and the girl “What a creepy “fattu” man!”

Sometimes we meet the very "right" people of our life in a very "wrong" time which leaves a bad "first impression" of them. Yet as time moves on, the very "same people" turn out to be the "most important people" of our lives.

- Angad is standing in front of his office with a beautiful bouquet of white orchids, along with him were also present the other office staff. He was nervous and constantly gazed at his watch to check the time as he wanted everything to be perfect. Angad and the other office staff were waiting for welcoming Rima as Sinha had informed them that his daughter will joining the office that day. Soon a car comes arrives and stands in front of all them and from it comes out Rima, their boss’s daughter. It was the same girl, with whom Kabir had a fight that very morning. All the office staff come forward and cheerfully welcome her. Soon, Angad too comes forward to welcome Rima with the bouquet in his hands but unfortunately the bouquet was covering his face. He says, “Welcome Rima, I am Angad Sakhuja and will be assisting you in the upcoming project.” Fb Sinha calls his daughter on phone and says, “Rima, tomorrow you are going to join our office and soon I want to give you all the charges of our company as I want to retire from all my responsibilities but before that I want to give you a special responsibility.” Rima curiously asks, “What is it dad?” Sinha “Angad Sakhuja he is most talented employee among all our office staff and has the potential to run our company forward in profit and that makes me see in him my prospective son-in-law” Rima blushingly asks, “So you have already chosen my life-partner without asking me?” Sinha “Well kind of, I couldn’t think of a better match for you neither a better head for our company but remember one thing, Rima, he has a history of a broken relation which is his weak point and I want you to make use of that weak point because “broken hearts tend to leap to the place where they find love” which can repair that broken heart.” Rima “What if he still likes that girl?” Sinha “Knowing KK, the girl’s father, really well I don’t think he will ever allow the two to mend their relation” Rima “But it’s my life dad, don’t you think I have the first right to choose my life partner?” Sinha “Just meet him tomorrow because I’m sure my choice will become my daughter’s choice” Fb ends. Rima remembering her father’s words was really curious to see Angad and constantly tried to look through the bouquet. Finally, losing her patience, she says, “Ummm….Mr. Sakhuja, thank you so much for that beautiful bouquet, but I’m sorry, I can only see your bouquet and not you.” Angad hearing that instantly lowers the bouquet and forwards it towards her. The very first moment Rima sees Angad, she was captivated by him. She remembers her father’s words of seeing Angad as his prospective son-in-law and was dazzled by Angad’s demeanour. She unconsciously takes the bouquet from Angad’s hand and soon gets lost in him without paying notice to what he was saying. Angad was giving his speech of welcome and finally forwarded his hand for a handshake while on the other side Rima was still lost. Angad surprised that Rima did not forward her hand and sensing that she is quite lost, snaps. Rima comes out of her thoughts. Angad continues, “I’m sorry if you feel uncomfortable with handshakes, I thought since you were raised outside, you wouldn’t mind shaking hands with your male project partners yet if you…” but before Angad could complete Rima forwards her hand saying, “Shaking hands is also a symbol of "starting a new relation in your life (zindagi)" be it personal or professional and I don’t mind shaking hands with my project partners be it man or woman with whom I am going to take my project forward. So welcome on-board with me Mr. Sakhuja.” Angad smilingly shakes hand with Rima. Just then, Sinha comes there and smiles seeing Rima-Angad shaking their hands, once they leave their hands. Sinha asks his daughter, “Hadn’t you brought something for your project partner?” Rima’s face glooms on hearing that.

- Kabir in men’s washroom “She drove rashly, splashed mud all over my clothes and spoilt them and then was giving attitude as if she is some Indian Prime Minister, what a chudail that was!” He then looks at the packet and remembers that the girl had told him that it had clothes. He opens it and was surprised to find a neatly packed gift box. He smiles wilily saying, “Great she spoilt my clothes and my mood and for compensating that she gave this gift? Chudail!” As he checks through the gift, he sees a note with “With love” written in beautiful handwriting on it. He continues, “Oh so madam chudail has given me her love too, to hell to do with her love.” He is about to crumble and throw the note into the dustbin but then stops himself saying, “Wait a minute, I will keep this with me and if I ever happen meet that Madam chudail once again then I will throw it on her face saying to hell to do with you and your “with love”” He folds the note neatly and tries to keep it in his purse, but then finds no space. Finally, he finds a bit of space next to Meera’s photo which he had in his purse, he draws out his family photo, keeps the note next to Meera’s photo and keeps his family photo above it. After putting back his purse into his pocket, he opens the gift packet and was delighted to find a baby-pink shaded shirt with grey pants. He exclaims, “Baby pink? That’s my favorite!”

Sinha “What happened Rima, you did not bring any gift for your project partner?” Rima looks disappointedly remembering how she had given the gift of clothes which she had brought for Angad to Kabir in the fight she had ensued with him that morning. Angad senses her disappointment and says, “Oh what is the need of gifts Sir? I’m really happy that I am getting to work with a highly talented girl like Rima. Rima, you are just a few months older than my sister, Soni and at this young age, you have achieved a lot indeed you are really talented! It’s a gift for me that I get to work with someone like you” Rima is highly impressed with Angad’s words and was already starting to have a liking for him. Angad continues, “Well how did you like my welcome gift?” Rima looks at the white orchid bouquet and smilingly says, “Who doesn’t love flowers and I must say you have a very classic choice, orchids, I’m impressed but I would have been happier if you would have given me pink ones instead of white.” Angad asks, “You like pink shade?” Rima “More precisely I love baby-pink.”

Kabir cries out happily “Baby-pink shirt! wah bhai Kabir Sakhuja, this is the first time someone has gifted you with clothes of your favourite colour. Otherwise, everyone has just one thing to say, men don’t wear pink, men don’t wear pink…”Soon he gets thinking “Wait a minute, did that chudail bring these clothes for me? I don’t think so but anyhow it was Kabir Sakhuja’s name written on them which is why it came to Kabir Sakhuja’s hands.” He quickly unfolds the clothes and dresses in them and goes out where he was met by their office receptionist, Muskaan. She praises that Kabir looked really good in those clothes and checking the material, she realizes it was one of the most expensive brands of clothing. She asks, “What happened Kabir? I’m seeing you look so handsome and that too in expensive branded clothes for the first time!” Kabir gave a bright smile at that remark showing all his teeth. Muskaan continues, “Did someone special gift them?” Kabir smile soon vanishes on hearing that.

Angad “Alright I will make sure to paint everything in baby pink before gifting anything to you” Angad-Rima laugh out together. Sinha happy with their slow bonding signs the other staff to leave. All the other staff gradually leave. Once all are gone, Sinha smilingly tells Rima-Angad, “You both continue with your discussions as from now on you both will be heading the next project together. I’m putting the entire responsibility on you both while I take some off-time” Angad-Rima nod. Sinha too leaves after saying. Rima continues, “I know it’s not a man’s thing to choose pink colour that too baby pink because our society has always decided that if you are a boy then choose “blue” and a girl means choose “pink” and it’s extremely difficult for a man to have “pink” as his favourite colour. Angad “Well I know a man whose favourite colour is “baby pink” just like you”. Rima surprisingly “Huh?” Angad “Well my younger brother Kabir too loves “baby pink” a lot just like you do”

Kabir “What is wrong with you Muskaan? Does it always have to be someone special who gifts you clothes” Muskaan confused “No Kabir rich gifts are usually brought for someone special by someone special and why would anyone give rich branded clothes to anyone they hate?” Kabir gets fuddled by that and chides Muskaan saying, “Don’t confuse me in all these things and don’t you have any other work? Go prepare the team for our promo shoot” Muskaan shakes her hand in annoyance and leaves. Kabir continues to ponder on Muskaan’s words “If that is the case, then why hasn’t Meera gifted me anything special till now when she used to send Angad gifts every other day when they were in a relationship? And if this dress was a gift for someone special of that chudail, then who was that someone special?”

Angad “You must be surprised to know that my brother too loves baby pink, right? Well, he himself is a something special. I will make you both met someday.” Rima smilingly asks, “You have a brother too?” Angad glooms on that question as he gets reminded of Karan. Rima senses the change in mood of Angad and remembers that her dad had informed her of the Sakhujas loss and how Angad got the responsibility of the entire family post his elder brother’s death and himself went through a tough financial, emotional and professional breakdown with losing his first job and breaking of his engagement. Rima hesitantly says, “I’m sorry for that question Angad, Dad had informed me everything about you, yours and your family’s loss but I don’t know how it went past my mind.” Angad “It’s alright Rima, losing your loved ones leaves an emptiness in your hearts but it also helps you to look at life from a different POV. My family has learnt to see our loss from a different POV. Yes, we can’t forget Karan bhai but he has left us by leaving his "deep impression in all our hearts", which makes us feel his presence even when he isn’t around.” Angad pronounces that by touching his heart. Rima was moved by his positivity. She says, “I see that I can learn a lot of things from you, even me and dad went through a huge loss when my mom passed away at my young age yet I couldn’t hold myself so positively as you are doing”. Angad smiles and says, “Well we both can learn a lot from each other because after all we are going to work together.” After which as Angad slowly starts to move into the office, Rima asks him from behind, “And her? Can you forget her?” Angad is shocked at that question and turns around awestruck.

Kabir comes to Meera who was working on her computer and tells her, “Meera now that we are on a serious relationship for the past one month, I just noticed that I have gifted you so many things several times but you haven’t gifted me anything till now.” Meera annoyingly asks, “Uff oh Kabir, we are going to shoot a really important promo now and all that you are worried about is getting gifts?” She continues “Alright you just want a gift, right?” She takes out a personalized pierre cardin gift set from her handbag, places it on his hands and says, “Here this is my first gift for you marking the beginning of our relationship, happy?” Meera continues to work on her computer after that while Kabir checks the personalized pierre cardin set carefully and hesitantly says, “Ummmm, Meera….it has Angad’s name on it!” Meera gets shocked and turns towards Kabir.

Moving on in life is really difficult and even more difficult when the relationship was broken purely on the basis of a misunderstanding because once the misunderstanding gets cleared, things would not be the same

- Angad still awestruck continues to stare at Rima with a questioning look on his face which indicated, “Who was she talking about” while Rima continues “Meera Sehgal, your ex-fiancée can you forget her? I’m sorry if I went too deep into your personal matters but then having heard about your broken engagement from Dad and seeing you still hold on so positively, I couldn’t stop my curiosity….” Angad cuts in saying “Yes I had a relation with her but….” He remembers what all Meera had told him the previous day, clenches his fists hard and says, “Relations work with mutual love and understanding and if it is not present in either one of the sides, then the base of the relation will be shaken loose leading the relation to break…something like that happened between me and Mee…” He stops himself from taking Meera’s name and continues, “Yes I will forget her too with time.” He quickly goes inside after saying that while Rima keeps staring at him in wonder. She gradually gives out a smile saying, “I can see how deeply you loved her Angad and that is attracting me more towards you because I want my life-partner to love me just the way you loved that girl. Dad was right, there is actually something enchanting about you which is pulling me towards you. I wish that I am able to fill in that empty space which that girl has left in your heart.” While she is still in smiles, lost in thoughts of Angad, she remembers about the gift she had brought for him and at that moment Kabir’s face flashes in her mind, reminding her how he misbehaved with her that morning and soon her smile vanishes. She gets thinking, “Today I met two totally different men, on one side was Angad who has captivated me with his goodness and positivity and on the other side that creepy “fattu” man who had no sense nor manners on how to speak to women. Anyhow why am I even thinking about that “fattu”? I just wish that I don’t meet him ever again. Such a creepy “fattu” he was.”

- Kabir was giving confused looks at Meera who was still in shock realizing that the personalized pierre cardin gift set, she had given him was brought by her for Angad just before their relation broke. However, she had completely forgotten to take it off her handbag after that. She quickly takes it back from Kabir saying, “I am so sorry Kabir, I had brought this for Angad earlier but had forgotten to throw it out from my bag.” Kabir smiles, “Our family being a middle-class family, instead of throwing away old things handed over to me used toys, books and clothes of Karan and Angad bhai because I was the youngest among them and I used those things with great happiness and pride thinking that I’m getting something which my brothers who were my role models have used. But for you, I don’t wish the same Meera! Because you are not a “thing”. For your case, I strongly wish that there comes no-one in-between us, in our relation, not even my brother!” He goes away silently after saying that while Meera looks on sadly at him. She gets thinking, “Why is that Angad is always following me in everything I do with Kabir? Why is that I’m always getting reminded of him even when I desperately want to move on and want to get away from him? What is wrong with me?” She crushes the personalized pierre cardin set in frustration when she realizes she is unable to overcome the thoughts of Angad.

- Days passed with Rima-Angad working together on their project and Rima started learning more about Angad. She was already impressed with his demeanour from their very first meeting and as she got to learn more and more about Angad, she was gradually falling for him. In fact, she had also safely kept the very first gift which Angad had given her when they first met, the bouquet of white orchids. Along with the bouquet, she also kept the novel “First Love” by “Sheeja Jose” which she had bought when she first met Angad. Rima found herself in the protagonist, Tina of the novel “First Love”. Both of these, the gradually drying bouquet and the novel, she had treasured safely in the drawer of her cupboard and on the wall of the same cupboard she had stuck Angad’s photo. Knowingly or unknowingly, in the two months when Rima and Angad worked together, Rima had already fallen in love with Angad. However, knowing about Angad having a history of broken heart and realizing that it would take time for him to fall in love again, Rima decides to reveal her feelings to Angad so that he can act accordingly. One fine evening, Rima invites Angad to a restaurant informing him that they have a client meeting there.

- The same evening, Kabir proposes Meera for a late-night show movie date with only them both in the theatre. He tells her that he booked the whole theatre so that the two will be alone in the whole theatre. Meera is shocked and disturbed on hearing that, she rebukes him saying, “Have you gone nuts Kabir? Your family is facing a financial crisis right now and you are spending your money on dates and gifts? Why are putting the entire burden on Angad….” She stops herself realizing that yet once again she was bringing Angad in-between herself and Kabir. Kabir asks her, “Why did you stop? Go on…my entire family keeps comparing me with Karan and Angad bhai and now you too have started?” Meera shakes her head saying, “It’s not like that Kabir, you should grow up and be more careful about where to spend what, when you know your family is now dependant on you and Angad. How long will poor Angad manage everything alone? Doesn’t he put yours, Soni’s and the whole family’s happiness before his own? Doesn’t he make sure to fulfil the needs of his family members before his own. You too should do the same and should be backing him instead of thinking only about your own pleasures and happiness.” Kabir gets annoyed and asks her, “Meera I seriously doubt whether you are in a relationship with me or Angad. Here I’m asking you out on a date and all you are giving me is speech on Angad’s goodness. Alright, if you don’t want to go out with me, I will just tear off these tickets.” Kabir is about to tear off the movie tickets but before he could Meera stops him saying, “No Kabir I was not giving you speech on Angad’s goodness. I was asking to take up your family’s responsibilities like him because I saw Guneet Uncle’s helplessness in front of Sethi Sir the other day and I feel that at this moment your family needs the support of both their sons.” Kabir “So when did I say that I will not take up my family’s responsibilities? Am I also not earning like Angad? And regarding the tickets, I have booked the tickets for the show in an old tatty theatre in the outskirts of Gurgaon. One ticket costs only Rs.10 and I spent only 10,000 for the whole theatre.” Meera is shocked, “10,000? You spent one-fifth of your salary just like that? Have you gone crazy Kabir? You know what all could have been done in your family with that 10,000?” Kabir, “Meera, why are you talking like Mumma now? Now that the money is already spent, can’t you just think about the enjoyment part?” Meera “Enjoyment? Who takes a girl to such an abandoned scary place in the night? You know how unsafe our city is for women right? Kabir you are so careless about everything!” Kabir being totally annoyed gets up, pushing his chair backwards. The other office staff get alarmed. Meera gets worried when the other staff get looking towards them. She catches Kabir’s hand and signs him to calm down. Kabir slowly sits while the other staff get back to their work. Meera “I’m sorry Kabir, my intentions weren’t to hurt you. I was just trying to make you understand the “right” and “wrong”. Now what do you want? You want me to come for the movie date, right? Alright, I will come but next time be more careful and sensible with whatever you do, promise?” Kabir nods happily as he feel better with Meera finally agreeing to come. He is about to hug her in happiness but Meera stops him saying, “Not now Kabir, this is our office and we have decided not to reveal about our relationship as of now, remember?” Kabir nods again, comes near her and says, “I will compensate for this in our date today?” He winks after saying that and continues to do his work. Meera gets reminded of an instance in hers and Angad’s life when they were in a relationship.

- Fb Both of them were together on the Sakhujas’ terrace. Meera to Angad “I can’t understand what is wrong my fiancé? Usually when a man and woman are in a relationship, the men are very desperate to get cozy and romantic but my man is totally opposite! Even when I try to get cozy, he tries to distance himself. Is my man an “asexual”?” Angad gets embarrassed with her remark, “There’s nothing like that Meera, the only thing is that a lot of times, when we are together, our family is around and at that time, if anyone watches us being cozy or romantic…nobody will blame me but only you. They will question your character for getting cozy with a man who is not yet your husband because that is rule of our “society”, even if both the man and woman are consciously involved in an affair, the woman is blamed and judged “first”.” Angad slowly goes behind Meera, places his chin on her shoulder, circles his arms on hers and says, “And I don’t want anyone to question or judge my girl’s character, she is already my “favourite” and I want her to be the “favourite” of everyone else.” Meera smiles blushingly while Angad places his nose on hers and whispers, “Let our marriage happen and after that I will show you whether I’m asexual or not.” Just then Nimmo calls out Angad from downstairs. Angad gets embarrassingly shaken off from his position as he answers her, “Yes Mumma coming!” and he quickly runs downstairs. Meera laughs seeing Angad’s embarrassed filled acts and continues to smile as he goes downstairs. Fb ends. In the present, a smile passes through Meera’s face as she remembers those instances. Kabir notices it and happily asks, “That’s nice Meera, you are already in blushes and smiles thinking about our date. I’m sure you will enjoy a lot tonight and don’t forget to give an excuse to KK Sehgal otherwise he will come searching for you till the film theatre.” Meera nods. The two continue to work while Meera again gets thinking “If our relationship wasn’t broken, then I would have been going on a date with you Angad instead of your brother. I wonder if you too remember any of our those times together?”

- Angad comes there as instructed by Rima yet was surprised to notice that he was the only customer in the restaurant at that moment. He gets thinking, “Was this the same restaurant which Rima had mentioned?” He then takes out his phone and checks the address and cross-checks it with google maps and realizes that it is indeed the same address which Rima had sent him and says, “According to the address which Rima had sent me, google maps indicates that this is the location but why isn’t there any other customer here?” Seeing nobody around, he goes near the rooftop to get a vision of the city’s expensive greenbelt and soon his mind wanders into one of his and Meera’s past moments.

- Fb Meera and Angad are in a local café. The waiter comes and serves them coffee and snacks when Meera disappointedly asks Angad, “Angad whenever you take me out for dates, you either bring me to any café or any local restaurant. Have you ever heard about Otti"mo” restaurant?” Angad “What moh (attraction)?” and laughs out while saying that. Meera widens her eyes, hits his hands and says, “Shut up! I was not talking about moh (attraction) but about Ottimo restaurant. You know Angad, I have heard that there is a really beautiful rooftop view in that restaurant which is exclusively meant for couples. Just think how romantic it will be when we go there and watch the rooftop view together?” Angad while sipping his café-crema “Meera, right now your would-be husband doesn’t have enough money in his pocket to fulfil your moh (desire). So as of now just adjust with this coffee, biscuits and café. We will think about Ottimo lasoon ter.” He keeps his coffee down while saying that with cream stuck right above his lips. Meera notices it and starts laughing. Angad asks her the matter. Meera shows him her pocket mirror and says, “Angad, I think even your coffee knows that you will take me to Ottimo when only when you are old like this.” She continues to laugh, while Angad frantically searches for his handkerchief. Angad “Right today I had to forget my handkerchief at home and on top of that these café people have not even served tissue papers along with the order.” He turns around to call the waiter, but before that Meera pulls his chin towards her and slowly wipes off his creamy moustache with her fingers touching his lips. As she finishes, she says, “Done!”. Angad says, “Well Meera, we need not got to Ottimo to be romantic, it is always romantic when you are around me!” Meera pinches him. He winces in pain at first but soon laughs out with Meera laughing along with him. Fb ends. Angad smiles tearfully as he could still hear voices of his and Meera’s laughter in his imagination and says unconsciously, “I did come to the place of your choice but just not with the right girl” Tears roll down his cheeks as he says that but he quickly wipes them off saying, “What are you doing Angad? Focus! You have come here to do your work not to think about her!” As he was still trying to calm himself trying hard to isolate himself from Meera’s memories, he hears Rima’s voice from behind, “Hi Angad!” As he turns around, he was struck with amazement looking at her.

- Rima was dressed in a short black dress which had square neck and half sleeves. Along with the dress, she wore two long diamond earrings and carried a shiny heavy purse. She slowly comes towards Angad who was still in shock at her sight and snaps. Angad coming to his senses and asks, “Is the client someone really important?” Rima giggling naughtily “Why?” Angad “No I have never seen you being dressed like this before” Rima “Well are our clients the only important people we need to have in our lives, there can be others too, right?” Angad not comprehending, “Huh?” Rima “Leave that, come let’s have a seat.” She catches Angad hand and tries to take him catching his hands. Angad slowly detaches his hand from hers, feeling uncomfortable and goes to take the seat himself. Rima smiles and sits next to him. She continues, “Waiter!” As the waiter comes, Rima gives the order for both of them by giving a list of Angad’s favourite dishes. Angad surprisingly looks at her. Rima, “Well it was part of our job to know about our partner’s likes and dislikes.” Angad nods and looks away as the whole setup along with Rima was making him feel very strangely uncomfortable. Once the food arrives, Angad asks, “Rima shouldn’t we start after the client arrives and perhaps ask them to join in because it would not look really nice if they arrive while we are eating.” Rima holds his hands once again and says, “Oh don’t worry about that. I’ll manage that!” Angad looks at Rima holding on to his hands and signs her. Rima questioning asks, “What?” Angad “I can only start eating if you leave my hands.” Rima “Oh sorry” quickly leaving his hands. Angad takes his spoon and starts eating but deep inside he was feeling quite awkward with very confused feelings, “All this kind of setup, isn’t it meant for? Na na what am I thinking? I guess Meera’s memories is making me think unnecessary things. I have come here to do my work, will finish it and leave.” Just then, he hears violin music from behind and turns around thinking the client has come. But when he turns, he notices that it was just a group of violinists. As he turns forward once again, he was shocked to see Rima on her knees with a red rose in her hand.

- He gets freeze-fixed in that position with the spoon in his hands. Rima, “I know it is not really a girl’s thing to do this but my feelings for you have become so strong that I couldn’t stop myself from saying…” she gradually forwards the rose towards him and says, “I love you Angad, I really love you!” Angad is left mouth open in shock and unconsciously puts down the spoon in his hand onto the plate with a loud clang which echoed in the whole restaurant.

A new journey had begun for both Angad-Meera. There were two new individuals who had entered their lives who wanted to fill in the place which their earlier partners had left in their hearts. Yet, the big question was whether these two allowed that empty space to be filled?
