Pritam was cleaning up in his kitchen when he heard some noises.
Soni - Beeji, mummy dekho buaji phoophaji aaye hai.
Pritam (while cleaning) - Ye myself Pammiji or machis lekar ghoomney waale phoophaji phir aa gye . Lagta hai Sakhuja house k chakkar kaatna inka part time job hai. Khair mujhe kya.
Beeji-Arey tum dono yhan itni raat gye, sab thik toh hai na? She asked worried.
Pammi-Haan haan sab thik hai ji, vo toh hum inke MLA dost k bete ki sagai mein gye the, toh socha vapsi mein Ansh se milte hue chalein. Kahan hai humara Rajkumar?
Beeji-Ander hai apne kamre me so raha hai. Abhi abhi soya hai, Jaag jyega toh phir Amrita ko pareshaani hogi usey sulaney mein. Phir kabhi mil lena.
Pammiji - koi nai, baaki sbse toh mil skte hai na.
Amrita kithe hai tu, Ansh kya aa gya humey toh bhool hi gyi tu.
Amrita - arey nahi buaji aisi koi gal na hai ji. Oye Soni, mere kamre me jaa Ansh akela hai vhan.
Soni - ji bhabhi.
Amrita-Oye Angad, kal jaa k naa electrician ko le aana. Mere room ka ceiling fan bahut awaaz kar rha hai. Ansh ki neend disturb hoti hai.
Angad - Ji Bhabhi.
Soni went to look after him but soon came out of the room searching for the network as she was in some interesting conversation with her friend. This was noticed by Pritam, who came out to switch off the lights outside of his room.
Pritam-ye aajkal k youngsters, commitment naam ki cheez hi nahi hai, mobile k aagey inhe kuch dikhta hi nahi, Ansh ko akela chod diya hai room mein.
Main jaakar dekhta hu, vaise bhi subah se Ansh ko dekha bhi nahi hai. He quickly came down and saw him lying peacefully in his cradle,through the window. He thought to stay there till someone comes in the room but was shocked to see Amrita, who out of nowhere suddenly appears right in front of him.
Amrita - Aap yhan kya kar rahe hain?
Pritam - kuch nahi bas main uper jaa raha tha toh dekha ki Ansh akela so raha hai. Kisi ko har waqt uske saath hona chahiye,chota hai abhi.
Amrita - ye Soni kahan gyi, maine kaha tha usey Ansh k paas rehne ko. Soni...... Soni....
Soni-ji bhabhi...
Amrita - Ansh ko akela chod kar kaha chali gyi thi?
Soni(bit scared) - vo bhabhi phone...... Network, showing her phone.
Amrita-kya Soni, thodi der baad bhi toh jaa skti thi na. Aur haan aap, ainda se aisa nahi hoga, aapko pareshaan honey ki zaroorat nahi,she said looking at Pritam.
Pritam - Ji main toh bas aapki madad kar raha tha or ye kamre me awaaz kaisi hai.... he tried to continue , but Ansh got up and started crying. Amrita ran towards him but before she could reach him, the ceiling fan, leaving sparks and fumes behind, crashed into the cradle.
Anshhhh....... He screamed getting up on his bed drenched in sweat. He looked around to find Amit sleeping peacefully beside him. He was relieved that it was just a nightmare, he immediately got up from his bed careful not to disturb Amit, began to walk slowly towards the door. Few moments later, he was standing outside her room's window. It was slightly open, from where he can see Amrita, holding Ansh in her hand, was talking to Karan's portrait.
He smiled thinking that Ansh is safe. He stood there and was adoring him when Amrita began to speak to Karan's portrait.
Amrita-Ye dekho Karan, tumse kaun milne aaya hai? (showing him their baby.)
Humara beta Ansh..... pausing a bit,tumhara Ansh. Dekho kitna pyaara hai na?
Bilkul tumhare jaisa hai.
Jaante ho, Iski aankhon mein dekhti hu,toh vhi sukoon dikhta hai jo kabhi tumhari aankhon me basta tha.
Iski mehak mujhe, tumhare yahin aas paas honey ka ehaas dilati rhti hai.
Iske dil mein mujhe tumhari dhadkaney sunayi deti hain mere Raanjhe.
Iski pyaari si muskaan mein tumhe khilkhilate hue dekhti hun.. She hugged him tightly and kissed his forehead.
Ek aurat ka jeevan sahi mayno mein tabhi poora hota hai jab vo Maa banti hai.
Maa ban na ek aisa ehsaas hota hai jiski khoobsoorti ko bayan karne k liye shayad shabd hi nahi bane hai is duniya mein.
Kaash, aaj ye pal hum saath mein jee rahe hotey to main tumhe ye bata paati ki.....
A tear escaped from her eye and she catch it on her finger.
Amrita(looking at her finger) - Kyu aaye meri aankh se bahar. Dekho tumne mere Karan ji ko bhi upset kar diya. Jaante the na vo meri aakhon mein aasu nahi dekh sakte. Kyu aaye phir?
Pritam smiled at this.Ye Madam jasoos hi ho sakti hain, jo apne aasuon ko bhi daant sakti hain.
Suddenly she turned around and found him staring her.
Amrita - Aap, is waqt, yhan?
Pritam - Vo main aa.. aaa. Ansh ko dekhne aaya tha, uske roney ki awaaz sunayi di toh khud ko rok nahi paya.
Amrita - par Ansh toh roya hi nahi, aapne kaise sun li uske rone ki awaaz?
Pritam - Aa... Shyd veham hoga mera.
Amrita-Ye kya baat hui, Or aap
Amit ko akele kaise chodkar aa gye? Ansh rota bhi toh hum sab hai yhan, Amit uper akela hai. Ab jldi se jaiye Amit k paas,she scolded him.
Pritam - Arey arey main jaa rha hun.Or ek baat btaiye zara, Aap sabke saath toh aise pesh nahi aati, sirf mere saath hi koi special connection hai aapka?
Amrita-kya matlab hai aapka?
Pritam - Aaa voo... mera matlab tha ki humara connection toh sirf kiraedaar or makan malkin ka hai. . Or... Aaa aisa kaun sa makan malik hai jo apne kiraedaar ko daanta rehta hai jis tarah aap daanti hain,he uttered, unable to find words. But his mind was speaking something else.
(in his mind) Sach toh ye hai ki humare beech kuch toh rishta hai, shyd dard ka,jo dheere dheere naye ehsaason ki shakl le raha hai. Main in Badaltey ehsaason ko apnane laga hun par aap toh abhi bhi Karan ki yaadon se pare kuch sochna hi nahi chahti. Mujhe intzaar rahega us pal ka jab aap bhi purane rishton ki chadar odhe nayi muskurati zindagi ka swagat karengi. Duniya ki saari khushiyaan aapke kadmon me bicha doonga, vaada hai mera.
She was silent when again he spoke up, Jawab ache se sochkar bata dijiyega, intzaar rahega mujhe. Good night.

Khair chodiye ye sab, dard ki dastaan chedenge toh poori raat bhi kam padh jyegi. Amit k paas jaiye, agar vo jaag gya to aapko vhan na dekhkar ghabra jyega. Aur vo toh bol bhi....... Sorry.

Pritam(in his mind) - vo ek hadsa nahi sochi samjhi saazish thi, aur ek na ek din iski teh tak pahuchkar hi rahunga main.
Water park ghumaaney le gya tha main usey. Bahut khush tha us din mera bacha. Par kisey pta tha kismat chand minton mein meri saari khushiyan mujhse cheen legi. He was getting emotional but continued, Pyaas lagi thi usey, paani lene gya tha main. Do minute, sirf do minute mein vapas aaya tha par tab tak sab kuch khatam ho chuka tha. Khoon se lathpath padha tha swimming pool mein. Kab, kaise gira kisi ne nahi dekha tha.Doctors ne kisi tarah bacha liya par gehri chot ki vajah se vocal cords damage ho gye or Amit apni awaaz kho baitha. Sab meri galti thi, mujhe usey akela nahi chodna chahiye tha. Kitni takleef hui hogi usey, ye sochkar hi ruh kaap jaati hai meri. His eyes were filled with tears of guilt and pain.
Amrita - I am sorry, main aapko hurt nahi krna chahti thi.....
He didn't hear a word and like a lifeless soul he was ascending the steps.
Ansh, dekho na mumma ne kya kar diya, Pritam uncle ko upset kar diya. Kitni khushi se milne aaye they aapse or maine unke zakhmon ko taaza kar diya. Don't worry, kal mumma sab thik kar degi. Dadaji, who witnessed them sharing their pains, thought to himself,
