Appreciation post for Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana as they have acknowledged the Pandemic with a heart wrenching scenario. Showcased the reality of a doctor & his family amidst the Pandemic.

I usually don't watch SP shows for obvious reasons πŸ˜† Tried watching Ghum but now not watching for my own sanity 🀣 However this show seems thik thak however not sure kab tak continue karungi πŸ˜› The concept looks a little bit similar to Hasan's show "Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne" 😳 That's why giving it a try. 😊

Hello Arpita πŸ€— Nice to meet you. I think we have met before. Were you in Barrister Babu Forum by any chance?

I also especially liked this scene in the show. It was high time a show showed how badly the pandemic has affected everyone’s lives.

I have also watched Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne and that is the same reason I am giving this show a chance 😳

I am excited for the Ml’s entry 😳

The first epi began with a nice light-hearted touch though with Karan's death hanging over everyone. Still it was nice to see that the entire family is realistic (at least so far). Hopefully they don't decide to make someone into a vamp/villain just for the sake of TRPs.

And I definitely like how they are showing the effect of the pandemic on families. When they said that the mother is just asking for her son's ashes, I had a feeling it would be about the pandemic, but I didn't think it would be about the doctors and nurses. I thought he would just be a normal guy (a businessman as ITV usually loves to show) who contracted COVID-19, but I'm glad that they are showing this other side of the coin for once.

Of course, the fact that they didn't show his death or his ashes makes me wonder if the channel will use the return of Karan for TRPs. I hope not, but you can never trust them. πŸ€”

Glad to find TSHJA viewer here πŸ€— Yes yes his character seems exactly the same Looking forward to his entry. 😳

The first episode was really nice ...it started on such a light note and ended so sadly and on a harsh reality.

I was wondering hw Amrita husband died but wasn't expecting the team ll brought the covid aspect here...they did a great job to show this sad and painful reality of frontliners during the pandemic situation.

Looking forward to trow epi

The family drama is really funny ...specially Dada and DadiπŸ˜†

I am Sayoni BTW a regular in MHRW forum.

After talking so much on MHRW forum only today I am getting to know your name πŸ˜†

I see people from MHRW and BWF here. Lovely to have some familiar faces around.

Many people think this show was inspired by MHRW but I am like nah been there done that, this seems more similar to Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne in which Hasan played a drunk pessimist with a troubled past. Poor Hasan Zaidi may be getting typecast but it's also a character tailormade for him. I am pleasantly surprised that people here have seen and remember TSHJA since it wasn't on a main channel. Still salty they cancelled it early.

I am also worried about the whole not being able to perform the last rites thing. The makers are trying to keep this as realistic as possible especially in regards to the COVID situation but it's the channel we cannot trust. They only care about ratings and if those aren't to their liking then the channel will likely force them to bring the husband back from the dead.

The second episode was a lovely continuation to the first. We got to see Karan and his interactions with his family, the reactions of the neighbours, and then the family's memories of Karan. It was sweet and emotional at the same time because it showed how frontline workers' families have to live and what happens when you lose someone to COVID-19 and don't even get a chance to say goodbye.
