Hey Simran, nice post...!!π
If we compare both Kansh and Shakuni ...I think Shakuni had some background and reason to what he did for his sisters family sake but Kansh is more dangerous... who knows what Mamaji wants ...also today we do not know their humble beginnings from old Delhi (somehow I still feel he is connected to Mehak's Mom - Meera Sharma)π
Back to the discussion, my views on both these characters ...
Kansh could be defined as mental patient coz he and his sister both had boon from Gods. This made him more than overconfident which led him to lose his brain completely and he started to think himself as God. Everything he was proud of was due to God but he neglected His existence. He used his power in a wrong way, he had hate for Vishnu which is very clear and that made him to try to kill his son Krishna after a heavenly voice prophesied that Devaki's eighth son will slay him, he imprisoned Devaki and her husband and killed all their children; however the eighth son, Krishna, an avataar of the god Vishnu, was transported to gokul(we know the remaining story...) May be that was wrong, but pick up history of Indian Kings or World Kings, they had done worse than killing their own son...
Shakuni was mastermind with lot of brain. Some stories say that Bhishma imprisoned the entire family of Gandhari after her marriage. Everyday, food sent in prison was reduced, family saved their son and gave their bones out of which desire of every Jawari - famous dice were made, some stories say it was injustice done to his sister, as she was married to a blind that made Shakuni to take the vow to destroy the entire Kingdom. But in both the cases thing to keep in mind is he smartly planned his every step. He did things slowly and keeping himself cool unlike Kans whose BP was always high. In both stories it is clear that he loved his family and sister...
Now, we need to know whether Mamaji is after Shaurya's life or he wants to revenge him and his Dad for some injustice done to his sister and her family (which includes him and his brother's families) to know whether he is a Kansh or a Shakuni ...π
