Episode 6 - Hold my hand hold my heart!!

As a tribute to DefLeppard's 30th year of Hysteria, I can only think of "Take a bottle, shake it up Break the bubble, break it up Pour some sugar on me Ooh, in the name of love to summarize Ali's proposal to Eylul to hold his hand (a kin to asking for hand in marriage).

A perplexed Eylul is interrupted by the phone call from Serdar, who spills beans (half baked beans of course). She drops the hot potato jacket and rushes to know the origin of the caller who is seeking redemption. A Satan Sinan's aide, as impersonated cop smothers Serdar to run business as usual.

A visibly upset with disbelief Eylul shouts at Dr.Robot. While she adds more details to the recipe it's still half-baked for Dr.Robot who continues with his constipated looks.

There is a contrasting reaction to Eylul's pushback with a happy Esma assuming the "evet and a stoic Ali licking his wounds.

The center stage of this episode is the untimely car accident of a happy family. Ali dons the Superman avatar to save victims just like he says "Sometimes we need to take a leap of faith and then comes trust.

Eylul Willie Winkie runs through the hospital, upstairs and downstairs without her calm!! Hmmm

While Mrs.Mine is devastated to learn either of her children will survive. Nonlinear narration of Ali and Eylul's personal tragedies provide timely help in hand holding of Mrs.Mine to overcome the situation.

A little Ali crying to save his parents, left abandoned after an accident and a little Eylul dazed with her weak family bonding have played long haul (hand) into individuals they are today.

Each case Ali-Eylul take up, their collaboration and mutual gratification grows stronger.

Ali realizes Serdar's death and now after connecting the dots wants to stay hungry and foolish too? *Ali Jobs*

While we talked of Cinderella and Sleeping beauty in the last episode, the mafia wanted to continue with a Barbie. Pink heart shaped cakes delivered under a shroud was like cake war reloaded.

Papa don't preach say Eylul and Ali. Mehmet says We didn't start the fire and Bahar cries I am Barbie girl, in a Barbie world!!

Looks like Oguz is binge watching Dharma & Greg to day dream his chances with Eylul.

There are many scenes with their sanctum(elevator cabin), while Eylul anticipates for a mid-air flirtations but Ali seems to be pre-occupied. Kim Bilir!!!

A GI Joe is appointed to dig deeper into Serdar's background. Ali is certain that something is really fishy. Eylul spins away while misunderstanding Ali's attempt to help her gain access to her granny's death.

Ali calls Eylul to bring her back to senses, but it's Mehmet who has to pay the price.

Will Verdat hold back to his daughter's hand, for her to overcome the void of mother's love? Will Ziyanur give a hand to cleanse the dirty games, to win back his conscience? Will Ali be there to hand hold (help) his baba to fight the battles?

PS:
When did terrace/helipad become an extended lounge? Aren't terrace exits restricted?
Great screenplay at the car crash site.
Lastly and not least, it was refreshing to see Eylul enjoy Samo's hickey without love.

There's something about Eylul- This is an apt title for the episode as suggested by Dummycim because she had a good interaction with all the ones in league for her, be it Selim, Mehmet or even Oguz in that case. (Not counting Ali Hoca because he's in a special category )

Dr. Robot's reaction after he said kisses to Eylul on call was cok komik! But it was nice to see the two together in surgery room. Had it not been for Ali, then maybe I'd have shipped Eylul-Oguz. But only if he doesn't become a pislik.

So Mehmet has been a significant part of Eylul's past and she wants him to come out from his unusual ways. He seems annoying, but I assume he's often misunderstood. Anyway, can't say much about that.

Though I guess he was pretty right when he called Selim as a two-faced person. At times I feel strange when Selim displays how much he knows Eylul.

This time the patients in hospital were the doctors, which wasn't going too well with Samo. Oh, Alp & Esma finally come across... Esma being smitten by him was so cute.

Ali Asaf!! I liked his scene with Esma. 😛 The man is so much in love that he doesn't leave a single chance to be around Eylul, and especially finds his romance spot in the elevator? Or on the bench of garden? Oh, he himself admitted that he doesn't care whether he & Eylul are at hospital or somewhere else! This time Esma's cafe became a lucky spot, where Mr. Perfect Hoca kept his proposal in front of Eylul! The idea of ring in ointment box is something which only a doctor can think.

Though Eylul still resists him & the reason is well known to us. Now that's why I want to see how Ali Asaf brings out Eylul from her fears of falling in love and makes her feel what it is like to be loved unconditionally.

My guess about Serdar was right, he's aware about the cause of GulAyse's death & on realizing how his daughter has paid the price, his conscience has hit him to make that phone call to Eylul.

P.S- Special mention to Gokhan Bey, he was so good at the crucial scenes like the one where Ali is in a dilemma- Whether to be with his father or to treat the person who shot his father. And he was really good with those tearfully happy scenes when Ziyanur came back to life. <3

Loved AlEy scene on the bench, when Ali felt like paradise while being laid in her lap, and how gently he kissed her fingers!!

Though my most favorite scene was when Ali embraced Eylul after the surgery. That blissful hug from him thanked Eylul more than his words did.

Still dont have an idea of the number of total epis of this series,but assuming the turkish series minimum episodes of a season used to be 13 Episodes. Then we are half way through of the series.

The ratings of the series are pretty good, But we dont have season 2 of Doctors(Original ) so not expecting of KA season 2 after the season1 finale.

Very Indeed & Surely its some high Praise😆, as Beren & Engin Chemistry is divine nd never comparable with any other couple of any series, as the story is very unique.

I haven't seen many turkish couple so I did said it "For Me" in Brackets after mentioning Beren & Engin in Fatmagul.

I did watch KPA, and started comparing everything that I watch with Fatrmagul and felt its more physical than emotional, unlike Fatmagul. (Though Im biggest fan of Engin's performance in KPA )

I really dont like the Story of KG(as somany relationships in very short span) though its story is something that everyone can discuss.

I really loved "OK" for the story and the performance of the leads and other actors but I didnt connected well with their romance which sometimes felt like Daghan is not 100% into it .

After OK, this series caught my eye as I love the Strong female characters .(its obvious , that our Cinema/telly world dominated by mostly male as strong and women are just dolls, which I really hate to watch)

After Engin , I really fell in Love with Gokhan for his potrayal of Dr.Alif Asaf( I really wonder whether such Men do really exist in real world as he waited for such long years for his love hoping she loves him back) . I loved Oyku for her beauty but not her character in KG but truely loved her as Ipek in KPA.

When we are in love with someone, we do feel that everything that belongs to them seems very beatiful and wonderful & perfect.Isn;t it.? May be this is the real reason I felt the Chemitstry between Oyku and Gokhan is great for me 😉😆 Coz, after Engin & Beren, I did fell in Love with Oyku & Gokhan.(ofcourse their characters and the acting)

I do really love two professionals in real life , one is Docotors and the other is "Teachers/Professors".

May be my love for this show as its seems a "a total package" of entertainment and actually, I'm watching that what I really wanted to watch (except the past of the leads, which is very painful for me, though its the crux of the story).

Forgot to mention, I really loved the Chemistry of Kivanc and Farha Zaynep Abdulla in "Kurt Seyit & Sura" and I can say Kivanc done a good Job as Kurt Seyit, but its bit more Physical than emotional , as I truly felt.

Its available on Netflix if anyone interested.

Hilal Saral is one of my favourite directors and a big applause for directing such wonderful series after Fatmagul.

Just when I thought Episode 3 was boring, it suddenly paced up (towards late second half when that pregnant lady tries to resist birthing) and my interest was restored back.

Actually, now if I think about it as a whole, this was a better episode than the second one.

I liked Oguz aka Dr. Robot very much in this episode, dunno what his character does in further episodes but I'd like to see him & Eylul being strong opponents of each other (in a healthy way obviously). Though I didn't like how they both were kind of betting on a patient's life, I mean that's not expected at least from someone like Eylul.

Our fangirl aka Esmacim remains upset about Ali being married and even warns him that married men are not for Eylul. Oh she's such a cutie! 😆 But being motor mouth too, she made the situation even worse for her friend now. 😆

Loved how both Ali & Eylul rushed back to their work after receiving the call. *Professionalism speaks*

I want more Esma scenes. 😛 And I was thinking, Alp too is one adorably funny lad, so can we ship him with Esma? 😳 *just a random thought* :P

As Mehmet returns, isn't he the same guy with whom Eylul fled on bike after her last encounter with Ali in past?

Talking about patients, I couldn't get the heads & tails of those ladies dressed up in lehenga with heavy jewelry & arguing over Turkish Henna v/s Indian Mehendi, but it was just the beginning of the hospital turning into fish market. 😆😆

I loved two scenes of other patients- The first one where a pregnant lady is able to meet her father & let him see his new born grand daughter before he dies. It was a heartbreakingly beautiful scene. 💔

Little Umut suffers from a deadly illness but remains happy to realize that he'll live at least for 5 years & he wouldn't be denied any ice-creams. I feel this was one highlight of the episode, because till now Eylul didn't want to take anybody's help (especially Ali's) but she probably forgot that she's still in a learning stage & so she actually asked Ali to help her while giving the bad news to Umut's parents. This is one gloomy moment in a doctor's life, and Eylul felt the pain of that moment. 🥺

I absolutely loved how Ali was keenly looking at her while she talked to them, as if he was assuring her through his eyes. ❤️ Eylulcim, everyone doesn't get a teacher like him! ^__^

And she once again realizes that she would need his help to find out the actual reason behind her Granny's death. Though for now Dr. Sinan is relaxing, but for how long?

Another highlight of this episode would be Ali being bothered due to Selim's awareness about Eylul & their friendship. He was quite openly showing criticism on that through his eyes, and why do I feel that Selim too is realizing about Ali's views? 😕

We got less of Bahar. I don't like her really, but if there's any depth to her character, then I'd like to watch her. Otherwise dafot git ya!

P.S- Oyku aka Eylul looked the prettiest in this episode. ❤️

I was also thinking this when I began liking the characters. Though we're not yet fully aware about everyone, I just hope every character gets fair chance and the writers don't mess up with them in future episodes, like it has happened in many dizis before. 😕

In fact, I want Mehmet & Oguz's character development asap. Even Esma needs good screen space. Alp was focused nicely in 4th episode. 😃

Selim gives me the vibes of becoming a pislik in later episodes. 😆

The cast of this dizi is so amazing, plus with each one of them having good chemistry with one another, I feel this can be counted in the list of most successful shows of this year. 😳

Episode 5 Seeing your loved ones injured to be restrained or reactive?

The trance of passion is broken, when Eylul opens her eyes to feel ashamed of her act. She makes a 12 midnight Cinderella like exit from the Gardens of Eden. Ali is left to guess her sudden change, the bag of inner mind is open with things strewn from memory. Now its Ali's job to fix the open mind because he cannot see his loved one in anxiety.

Finally the creatives give us a few monologues to know what is vexing Eylul. Looks like her mother was trapped in a one-sided love in her marriage which led to tensions between her parents. Is this why Eylul is commitment phobic?

There is no bid deal with a kiss, but she her mind was racing elsewhere. Unable to bear Esma's wrath, Eylul throws the magic ointment case. Am sure she will hold on to it until the end like Fatima's talisman.

In the quest to know the base of the travesty, Serdar opens fire on Ziyanur. Both the assailant and victim are rushed.
Goals for a friendship day is shown a week earlier, when Suleyman pitches in to save is dear friend. His tactics seem to be old fashioned, until Selim provides his hand.

An emotionally high Bahar comes to Esma's caf to create a ruckus. The jungle cat fight was proof of what other scenarios Bahar's character can be used for. But a smart Esma records the history of Bahar's anecdotes.

A collected Ali, first attends to assailant. This is called Dharma in profession. But when he realizes the other patient is none other than is baba, Ali cannot be restrained anymore.

Serdar and Ziyanur are sustained for their injuries and are taken to emergencies. Flashbacks show a kid learning to know the death of his parents and maturing to an adult in no time was a good summary of Ali's psyche. With his sweet spot being hurt Ali sis no longer restrained and reacts to save his baba. Ali get the necessary assurance from Selim who watches the emotions unfolding. Will Selim use Ali's weakness to fulfil his wishes?

I have to make a special mention on the scenes here, which demonstrates actor's strength to change the body language, dilate pupil and dialogues which made us empathize with Ali. Take a bow Gokhan!!

Eylul drives to her old home to relive her dark days. The cause and effect fundamentals have been completely messed by Eylul. If she continues to restrict her emotions with a past case, her present will be effected. We need to hear the cork pop of her bottled emotions. In fact Ali should be first one to hear the pop.

Eylul doesn't take Ali's call which is inherent to hesitation to face him. Sometimes I wonder, if she has really grown up to handle such situations. Ten years have made her socially and economically stronger, emotionally she is still weak.

This habit of not taking Ali's calls also is a good excuse to bring in twists to the story when needed for a climax ?

Samet's animated wake-up, brings Eylul back to reality. She quickly corrects her actions by volunteering to perform the surgery. She cannot she loved ones being anxious. Oguz leads from the second. The colosseum is sold out, the gladiators are ready for action.

Taking a cue from the world map as jigsaw puzzle (the picture frame in their office), S&S try to solve their puzzle. Ziyanur doesn't fit the exit strategy, so it's got to be Serdar.

In a less travelled route, Bahar uses her degree, compassion and failures to genuinely help an accident party. But she could play a kids doctor-doctor game better!! Friendship day reveler cannot leave his friend Huseyin stranded. The reveler passes out into a dangerous fit for Bahar to be moved emergency. So are the creatives trying a makeover to Bahar's character?

Oguz upgrades his EA (Eylul Admiration) club membership from silver to gold. The operation is successful. A relieved Ali thanks Eylul with his signature hug and soaks himself to show how grateful he is. While most staff apply DND (Do not Disturb) tag and move on, Eylul is again very conscious of her act and restrains from any further interactions. When Selim objects, Ali puts a litmus test on love. I jumped with joy, when Ali warned Selim mildly.

Our episodic dosage of romance is 5-10 minutes, otherwise we show symptoms of love salt deficiency. Esma provides a picnic in the hospital garden (please imagine one, because the sky shots show a different landscape altogether) Uff what a scene. From a hug, to a kiss and now being the hottest laptop model, Ali closes his eyes to rejuvenate. He is looking forward for blissful married life with Eylul. And does she care about it? Oh yeah for a few crumbs on his face. ?

Bahar is traumatized with her accident. Sinan cannot see his loved princess in pain. He reacts to provide the best aide. A restrained Eylul helps her friend and colleague to sustenance.

Alp visits Esma to return the cherry dressing. Esma has drunk a love portion from Ali. She is smitten by Alp.

Ali meets his baba to know the truth. Ziyanur presses to drop charges on Serdar. Ali reacts but is restrained with baba's emotional aytachar (torture)
Ali increases is high mile points by another lift encounter with Eylul. A clever Ali protests to be left uncared for and asks if Mehmet is on her mind. Have you heard of competitor analysis anyone? ;-)

Mehmet proves that he is not a brawn without brains. His kindles Selim to invoke the vested interests in Eylul.

IMO this episode should have been titled "There is something about Eylul, the Turkish concoction of Mary.

Ali & Eylul visit to Ziyanur when a smitten Ali cannot take eyes off Eylul, and trained eyes of Ziyanur doesn't fail to recognize Ali's love interest.

Sinan walks into Serdar's ward to restrain him, because his loved ones are at stake. Loved ones = money & reputation. Serdar further reacts after losing his love one (his daughter) to name Eylul in the loop. Sinan cannot solve the puzzle with another piece added. He runs to his daddy-pad for more resources.

Mehmet drinks his day waiting for Eylul. Mehmet, the man Friday had helped the Eylul Crusoe find her resources.

Eylul is obligated every man in her life so far. It becomes a uphill task to repay the debt, because everyone wants to woo her. Whom will she choose? The havoc of cause and effect leaves Eylul have some "me time. Selim pops like a genie in the Turksish nights adaptation to help her resolve confusions let bygones, be bygones.

Ali also realizes that Eylul might be in danger after hearing to Serdar. He anxiously waits for her at the caf. Ali is happy with the results of competitive analysis, because he is the winner and his trophy is the empty magic ointment bottle. Their Taj Mahal. (and white too!!)

Eylul searches the bin for her talisman, Ali walks back to chide her. A hurt Eylul snaps back to show her scald. Her scars need Ali's perseverance and passion to cure.

Going by Trailor , I can understand , Ali going to surprise Eylul by throwing a Birthday party at Esma's cafe. Seems like he is progressing towards his goal by one more step 😃 .

Im not very good at Understanding turkish , But in this trailor, Eylul asked Mehmet" Evli misiniz var mi"(Are you married?) on the accident site. Am I correct?

In the original , Mehmet's character( I think its Soo in original) was married and have a son but this fact wont be surfaced until the accident occurs. This gives a sigh of relief to Dr.Ji Hong in original. So is Ali 😆
