My man should be like Richard Gere'

Dressed in a simple salwar kameez Jennifer resembled her on-screen character in the upcoming serial.

Jennifer Winget aka Sneha of the popular soap Kasautii Zindagi Kay may look like a cute, sweet bubbly girl next door with no attitude on the small screen, but let us tell you appearances can be deceptive. When she recently visited the city to promote her upcoming serial, Jennifer was loaded with attitude and nakhras.

Dressed in a simple salwar kameez Jennifer resembled her on-screen character in the upcoming serial.
As we got chatting Jennifer told us that though she began her acting career at the age of 12, she took a long break in-between to complete her further studies. Being an average student, Jennifer soon realised that studies were not her cup of tea and she made up her mind to take up acting as a career.

She starred as a child artiste in R Mohan's Raja Ko Rani Se Pyaar Ho Gaya and later made a grand debut on the small screen as Prerna's daughter Sneha in Kasautii Zindagi Kay .

As for playing a woman double her age in the serial, Jennifer says, I don't have any apprehensions in playing a 40-year-old mother of two kids who are my age, because as actors we must try to understand that such things do come your way and one must be ready for such a leap in time.

When asked about her experience with the so-called dictator of small screen Ekta Kapoor, Jennifer said, I would like to dispel this myth that Ekta is a dictator. It is just that she is passionate about her work and is concerned with the output of the artistes working under her.

However, Jennifer chooses to keep mum on whether she will quit Ekta Kapoor's serial, as her new project demands more of her time. Jennifer also prefers to play it safe when asked about her off-screen chemistry with her on-screen husband (played by Karan Singh) by giving a politically correct answer like: When we play an actor's wife or girlfriend, link-ups are bound to happen.

Jennifer wants her dream man to be just like Richard Gere (no less). She stresses, My man should be a thorough gentleman like Richard Gere and should be classy in all sense. (Karan, are you listening?)
