I really want to applaud the relationship between Kunal and Abir.

In the story of MishBir that relationship tends to come to the front but is usually pushed back again.

It is not often that we see such a relationship between brothers on an ITV show. Abir who loves Kunal like his child, and Kunal who is very aware of that love. It is not that they do not fight, off course they have fought. However, there is such an understanding there.

Abir who can do anything for his younger brother;even give up the one person who he loved so much. The one relationship he picked for himself. All because he knew how Kunal would break when he realised that the mother he loved was not his real mother and somewhere does not love him quite as much in return. He did not do it when Kunal said pick either me or this girl because somewhere he knew Kunal was angry and he would calm down eventually because his Kunal would always want to see him happy.

Abir who scolds Kunal and saves him from himself and his tendencies to be Meenu ka Munna. I still remember how he scolded him when he ran away from his wedding and how angry he was when he realised Kunal spiked Nannu's drink.

I think I could tell the extent of the love from the "yeh saare laadoo akela kha jaaye; aisa mera nanko". Even during those Ganpati poojas that Abir liked so much, he would think of how to make his little nanko happy.

Kunal who realises time and time again how much his brother loves him. Kunal who really adores his brother. Kunal who was so so hurt when in anger Abir said he didn't know how to be a brother. He asks Abir to pick between him and Mish and sulks when he is not picked. But then when Abir is heartbroken he realises how his brother is hurt and wants to save his brother. Somewhere he loves Abir more than he loves Meenu because remember when Abir gets drunk at the resort during the NishMish event, Kunal tried so hard to make sure Meenu did not find out the truth that Mish was there. How apologetic Kunal was when he did not realise his brother needed him because Kuhu had an anaphylactic reaction to nuts and he was with her.

Kunal who felt so guilty that he pushed Abir and Abir's wound bled...Kunal who tried to cheer his bhai up when baba was arrested and ABir knew the truth. Even if it was by saying he was so done with garba and dandiya

Kunal who was devastated when Abir said he was not his nanko anymore; because how could he not be bhai's nanko.

Kunal who followed his brother to the resort, handled MishKu during the holi fiasco with his brother, tried to explain why Mish was angry when Kuhu called Mishbir free loaders.

Kunal who wanted to stand with his bhai-bhabhi during the Varun track, even left his mum and went along to his sasural because well bhai had an idea and how can his bhai's idea be wrong, stayed with bhai until MishKu sorted themselves.

The scene with Mish and today's scene with Abir made me realise how Kunal would do anything for Abir.

Maybe even have a baby with Kuhu and let MishBir adopt that baby coz bhai said "your babies will be mine".

I really liked Hrithik -SRK's relationship in K3G but we did not see that whilst they were growing up in the movie because Shahrukh's character was much older and the brothers were not in the house at the same time: when one was small the other was away at boarding school or university or for his MBA and when the other was old enough then SRK had left home. So we only see the bond when HR goes to London.

However here we saw the bond all through: remember how Abir says maa brought you home and gave you to me. Kunal feels bad that he is not nanu's fav naati or Ma's fav beta BUT he also never holds it against Abir or gets jealous enough to let it impact his own love for Abir.

I have to give it to Meenu here that she did not let her bitterness towards the fact that her husband had Kunal with another woman, come between the relationship Abir shares with Kunal.

P.S Do not kill me but I really think Avinash is a great Kunal.

I don't know if you noticed but all the while abir was trying to convince mishti to stop thinking negatively and open the door , kunal had his hand on abir's shoulder, it was like "sab theek ho jayega bhai , main aap ke saath hoon " wala gesture , he knew his brother's wife was at her weakest and it's his brother who has to handle her and handle himself too , the silent support that he gave to abir was bang bang on ⭐️like abir said, you don't have to say anything, you are my courage and strength

When abir said , zindagi hi gaadi chalti rehni chahie no matter what, that was the perfect philosopher mentor moment between them , I had tears in my eyes when abir said I would nevwe wish you to be in my position kunal And he will be all the more happy to give parental love to kunal's kids 😳

Meenu ne kitna bhi galat kiya ho , ek kaam sahi kiya , made these two brothers 😃😳

A lot of ppl say, mishku fights will break abinal , but I can surely say , abinal love will mend mishku and how , bas dekhte raho ...haaye meenu's kaala teeka on this bond ⚫

I saw that. I noticed how when Mish was running past them; Kunal ran after his bhai who was running after Mish.

i think it was a really kind gesture on Kunal's part to stand right by his brother with his hand on his brother's shoulder.

Did you notice when Mish held out her arms, Kunal side stepped so that Abir could go to Mish. It was as if he also wanted to give his brother that space so Abir could comfort Mishti.

Off course Abir would never want his Kunal to be in the same position, this is Abir we are talking about. Kind, selfless, big hearted aAbir who would not wish the worst on his enemies even and this is his nanko, his first child.

I also don't think anyone will break AbiNal. Even if Parul goes rogue and tries to throw MishBir out, we will have Kunal going off to bring them back.

Abir ke baare mein kya kahun ☺️ I love the way this boy handles pain so effortlessly , there is anyone who was concerned about him , his mother just back stabbed him , the family members were obviously more worried for mishti , no one asked him how did he feel all the while 😒 he uses his bad experiences as a lesson saying its okay I realised I love mishti over and above anything else , his life mantra to go on and never stop, remove the stones or change the road but don't stop was fabulous ⭐️ duniya aise hi abir ki deewani nahi banti 😳

Parul mein itni himmat kahan vo mishbir ko nikale 😆 But haan kunal will surely get them back

Kunal S2 >>>>> Kunal S1 ( i am so sorry; i am not taking away from Kunal S1 because I have mentioned his character traits in my post above BUT I feel like I am seeing a new Kunal who is trying hard to be mature and accept what life is throwing his way.

I mean it must not be easy for him. Maybe he is young and has not reached the crisis mode where he is like "What if Meenu ma takes this business away from me?" I have helped build this business. What other career will I have? What else will I do with my life?

Instead he told Kuhu that everything will be fine because he believes that Abir bhai will not let him or Kuhu turn destitute, jobless or homeless.

I think Abir was still grieving, poor boy, and then he had to put his grief on the back burner and think of Mishti's grief. I think even if this story went the "choose between Mish and the baby", Abir would have picked Mishti. I hope he does think of a different path; I hope he does say to Meenu that she loved Kunal like her own and he is not her khoon so why can't MishBir adopt?

P.S. I was joking the other day that if flight restrictions are lifted Disney could sponsor SP who could sponsor DKP and take KuKu and MishBir to Oz for an outdoor. Then Kunal could sing "Oz tak famous kahaani, Abir bhai ki Mish deewani" 😆

but now I feel we should change this to "Oz tak famous kahaani, Abir bhai ki kitni fangirls deewani"❤️😳😆

P.P.S. I also feel KuKu's baby might be adopted by MishBir because that would be the true essence of 1. Your baby will fulfil my dreams (oh remember in KRPKAB, Dev loved Golu just as much as he loved Soha and Shubh and never differentiated between Golu or S&S) and 2. Devki and Yashoda to Kanhaji analogy will also come true.

LOL if Nandu knows I called her Abir, she will be like WHHATTTTT???!!!If I ever felt lost in life, I know she will show me the right path; if i wander around with my head in the clouds, she brings me back to the ground but stops me from landing with a thud.

I think he does trust Abir and like i said if Meenu does throw him out then Abir will protect Kunal like a lioness protects her cub. So reverse the scenario then; maybe Parul masi is too meek to throw out MishBir but Meenu will throw Kunal out and Abir will go and bring him back.

Aww That's such a natural sibling bond 😃 I am the elder one so I see things more from abir's side but I love seeing things from kunal's perspective, kunal is very important to abir , and I like him too 👍🏼

I hate making KRP or PS show comparisons but i feel like sometimes I have to because it makes explanations a LOT easier- so Golu in KRP was loved and spoiled by Dev because his mum was Dev's wife's sister first and her husband was too busy plotting and scheming against Dev. They say a mother's right over her children is the most important. Golu's mum let Golu heal the parts of Dev that were broken. Then we go to PS-- Kirti wanted her baby back; she got her baby back. Naira lost the will to live but Kirti got her baby back. Naira lost her memory but Kirti got her baby back. When Naksh saw how much Naira loved KeeSh's baby, he said we will give Kaira the baby and Keerti got all upset and told BFF that no one cared about her or her feelings or her baby or her life or her husband because EVERYTHING was always about Naira and BFF distanced himself from Naira. Now before this scenario Keerti loved Naira and was happy staying in her shadow but the baby changed something. Now imagine Kuhu in this scenario. Kunal might say we will give MishBir the baby and Kuhu's reaction will NOT be like Golu's mother and will be 1000 times worse than Keerti's. However, i also feel surrogacy may not work because even then Kuhu might change her mind and refuse to give the baby to MishBir because by law she is the mother because she carried the child and gave birth to the child.

Well Meenu, kick KuKu out; let Kunal go searching for Abir to bid him goodbye; let Abir go looking for Kunal; let there be sad scenes where Kunal refuses to go home.

Abir: Ghar chal Kunal, yeh tera ghar nahin hai."

Kunal: "Kaunse ghar ki baat kar rahe hai aap bhai? Woh toh mera ghar kabhi tha hi nahin"

Lol its great being the younger sibling. I think older sisters have a maternal instinct but Abir is the first male character who is so nurturing and so paternal.
