This is exactly what is making me avoid their scenes: the way he demeans her. All. The. Freaking. Time! And the fact that he doesn't trust her at all. Writing this made me realise that all we have wanted since the start is for them to have a proper conversation when things start going out of hand in their relationship and behave like the adults they are when they think about family but doesn't look like that is ever going to happen. The last time Kunal made the effort of having a proper conversation with her was the 1st two days of their marriage, and then it all went splat.

I will definitely admit that Kuhu was insensitive to bring Abir into the conversation, and she should've known better, especially considering the fact that Kunal is pretty sensitive when it comes to him (as shown in the following scene), but if Kunal continues to react in the way he did today, she will stop talking to him, and will bottle everything up instead. And that will prove to be even more dangerous.
Kuhu has to learn where the limit is with Kunal and how to strategically toe that limit so that she gets her point across without upsetting him/disrespecting the person he loves and respects the most. And Kunal has to learn how to not lose patience with Kuhu at the drop of a hat (considering how patient she was with him at the beginning of their marriage!!!!), especially considering where she's coming from, and where her worries are stemming from. And with the writing being so incredibly weak, especially with regards to them and their relationship, I don't see that development happening.
However, after a conversation with some friends, I am starting to wonder if Kunal 2.0 was really that different from Kunal 1.0 in today's scene. The writing in that scene did have a semblance of consistency, especially considering how protective Kunal is of Abir, and how he never tolerated a word against him from the beginning itself. His anger was even justified in the following scene when he talks to Mishti about how much Abir means to him. What is striking me as out of character is the way Kunal speaks to Kuhu when he is angry, which is demeaning and incredibly harsh. And that is not acceptable at all.
You are right. Kuhu should stop bringing Abir as he admires him as father figure. Kuhu when gets insecure, she kind of speak lots of words without its effectiveness. Also Kunal didn't try to understand her feeling and came to conclusion about baby making race. Well these two have a long way to go in relationship. Varsha is planning baby lol. They don't need baby now. Hope Kuhu might understand it.

Atul ko toh they are trying to erase from everyone's memory. Ketu ki shaadi pe no one even mentioned him whenever her brothers were talked about. They will bring him back whenever it's convenient for them.

the way Mishti is a blind spot for Kuhu, Abir is for Kunal
so as soon as Kuhu says 'inka imaginary bachcha is more important than us' Kunal's bhaiyopia kicked in
and Kunal actually says 'tum apni limit cross kar chuki ho par main nahi karna chahta so dont force me'

I think thats why Meenu is so hell bent on having Abir's biological kid, otherwise Maama-Maami's kids will be Rajvansh's heir
she knows Kunal is not technically an RJV so in future the next generations might have conflicts & fights because of that, so she wants Abir's kid as RJV's heir

after last episode (Tuesday's), it is good to know that the writers havent forgotten about kuhu-kunal story & they are trying to show the progression❤️
I liked the kuhunal scene, its the 2nd scene(1st being that baby talk in Kuhu's room after ganpati aarti last week) where they are having a conversation like adults without any of the two losing their temper, and I saw it as a progression in their emotional intimacy where both of them are trying to share their expectations with each other
I dont expect them to have a 100% perfect conversation, this was just their 2nd conversation since Kunal returned, so I am more interested in their journey to that perfect conversation where both apologise
just the fact that Kuhu decided to talk rather than keep things inside her & then later on blast was a good progression & Kunal also trying to listen, understand is a progress👍🏼
since Avinash as Kunal was excellent today👏 & Parul-Kuhu-Kunal scene was best & so emotional❤️
