You know what the craziest thing is? That all the characters are OOC and in character at the same time. Thanks for letting me know that the makers know what the problematic thing is, and THAT is exactly my issue with this show. The makers know what the major problems are and no one fixes it. Uggghhhh!!!! They keep doubting the audience's intelligence and I absolutely hate it!

Bold: I definitely felt that way as well. I think it's because they've taken the qualities of some of these characters (especially Kunal and Meenakshi) that are easily susceptible to manipulation via the writing, extorted them, and blown them out of proportion (Kunal's dedication to his mother and Abir, and Meenu's need to control everything). And in that process, they've drowned out any remaining redeeming qualities, so that everything looks OOC and overly dramatic. So then people can't argue that these characters do not have the same qualities, even though the portrayal and execution is vastly different.

I remember making a post sometime back about how our show has antagonists but not villains. I hate the way they've made Meenu so one-dimensional in this track. The very worst is the way they have now portrayed her relationship with Kunal.

Do they want Rupalji's role reduced in the future since she'll be on 2 shows and are going about it like this?

I think the big thing I saw in the lyrics, especially when it got to the chorus was that Kuhu kept being that person that fixed something broken inside Kunal, but when it came to her, he simply wasn't able to support her. And at the end of the day, I'd like to think that she recognizes that beyond a certain point, it is not her job to try to fix him, especially when it's at the expense of her own happiness.

Kunal 1.0 caught feelings for Kuhu because of everything Mishti wasn't, and now Kunal 2.0 can't stand the fact that she can't be more like her. It was one thing when everyone would compare Kuhu and Mishti. But Kunal never did. And that's another big reason Kuhu felt like she could be herself with him.

These lines sum it up for me:

Who's gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning?

Who's gonna rock you when the sun won't let you sleep?

Who's waking up to drive you home when you're drunk and all alone?

I have not watched the following episode, because for the time being, in my version, Kuhu completes this and says "it ain't me", and walks out for good.

The precap is kind of scary for me too. I need some strong reason for accepting surrogacy from Kuhu's side but still not able to get why she agreed. Anyways, expecting logical things from this serial might be off limits. So I am having very little expectations about tom. Lets see!

@Kunal - Red Pear Travel Business related track and relationship with Kuhu. Working on being a good husband. maybe move out with Kuhu and Parul for sometime to try and establish himself without the Rajvansh name.

@Kuhu - She could develop her social media influencer thing as event management during the times of corona might be tough. Team up with Mishti and Kick Meenu's ass in the surrogacy track. build stronger relationship with Mishti. I am really yearning for some nice solid scenes with MishKu.

@Mishti & Abir - the adoption track, move out with Abir for sometime and then move in back with the family once Meenu Ben starts drawing lines to her bullshit.

@Ketki - any form of progress would be nice to see in her character graph.

Kuhu and Mishti stands for themselves against Abir and Kunal but with Meenu, both Kuhu and Mishti uses a soft tone and never gives any logical arguments. Well seems like it won't change soon. I am also waiting for Mishku moments. Hopefully soon.

Ufff! I just love reading all the discussions here always! Y’all always have some really insightful opinions and takes on the show.

Coming to why Kuhu has agreed to surrogacy, I think it goes back to her dilemma when season 2 came back, that she will not have the place or rights in the house as Mishti and will be reduced to Parul Maasi’s place. Even though, she had grown from all this and was accepting all the relationships, in the end moment Meenu always comes and says something like “I liked you more than Mishti”, “I have seen myself in you”, “there is some benefit in this for you” etc.. and this kinda throws her off!
Because honestly, she admires Meenu for the way she carries her business as well as herself in some ways. It makes her feel a certain way when she gets compared to her. And also I feel that when Kuhu feels threatened she doesn’t know what takes control of her. And so much has taken place with everyone throwing their opinions and decisions on her, I feel like she’s very confused. But I hope she clearly sees for herself that this is not the right decision, she should never say yes because of an ulterior motive but only because she feels that she wants to do it.

But I have feeling there will be no surrogacy, kuch twist aane wale hain. Especially because we saw that scene where Kuhu had gained a couple of pounds.. I really think she is pregnant on her own. Let’s see!!

This is purely my interpretation, please do comment back your opinions on it, I’m all ears! I may be missing some points that y’all may have seen.
