I hadn't paid attention to mytho shows much earlier, so now having all you equally crazy fans, I'm glad to join the club😛
As a kid I watched the old mahabharat during holidays with my parents, just to learn about story and characters..but I never focused on the lessons and ofcourse didn't know anything about acting etc.
Next time I was re-introduced to mahabaharat was when I visited India few years ago, my grandmother used to watch the SP mahabharat (in tamil), so I saw a few scenes with her - but at that time I wasn't familiar with Shah.
So now that I know Shah more better, I'm more eager to see this mahabharat properly again, with that mindset of also learning more about the dialogues, the wisdom etc
p.s I cannot stop humming the title track. and the krishna flute is just soo soothing
Nandu...when I was in smaller classes,we had Gita chanting ..we were taught gita...but I never knew gita was part of mahabharat then...I was always an active participant in that😆😆
But when I reached 5th,I shifted to KV..so I couldnt continue to learn gita...I remember watching brc mb when I was a kid in my local language..as a kid also ,I was always fascinated by mb and ramayan than the fairy tales....and in seventh std we had mahabharat in hindi syllabus..and at the same tym ahaa came as Arjun...so I started watching the show... basically not for krishna gyan but for the story and definitely aha..😆so that's my kind of journey with mahabharat..I have read mnay books on Mahabharat..from different perspectives.. duryodhan's narrative, Draupadi pov,I wanted to read mb from Arjun's pov..I hope I will be able to buy it after lockdown..ever since ahaa have told that krishna gyan influenced him, even I'm trying to listen to more stuff..
Even I hum the title song all day nandu..and I earn glare from my father..he is not at all impressed with the casting of new mb🤣🤣
