The story is absolutely beautiful. I love the way you have glided through the entire story. I like the fact that they didn't fall in love instantly at the first meeting itself. But I'm glad that he realized he's attracted towards her. Thank you that he didn't directly jump into the conclusion that he is in love with her. 😛😆 He is passing through all the stages of falling in love. I would like to know more about Mishti's point of view too.

Of course I do remember you! How in this world I am gonna forget one of my favourite writers!? It's so good to see you here.

Firstly, thank you so much for giving this a shot. It means a lot to me. Honestly speaking, in my early teens, I did think that it was possible to fall in love at first sight. But with time I realized how immature that thought was. It's only possible to feel some sort of attraction to someone at the first meeting because it's mostly the appearance that you get to see and not the real person, not their personality. And love is definitely not about looks. I feel it's more like accepting the person for who they are. And for that, one needs to get to know the other person. So love at first sight isn't possible. I am glad you see it that way too.

I needed that. It didn't feel right to me to make Abir suddenly showing interest in Mishti. That would have been weird and quite suspicious, if I might add. I needed something to get him there. Initially, I wasn't sure of the way it was all going to shape up. It was only after I added Mishti's back story did I get an opening. It's nice to know that you like their characters.

Sameer and Nisha might end up in big time trouble for what they are doing behind their backs. Since, even you can see it, Mishti might find out soon too. Maybe, maybe not.

Yes, he kissed her. More like a cheek kiss. Yes. Had he directly jumped onto the conclusion that he is in love, I might have run a search to find another man with more sense. 😆 Stages of love - from the realization sinking in to confession - hash! that reminds me of another story. ❤️

Mishti's point of view will be reflected in the coming chapter. Hope I will be able to do justice and you will like it as much as you have liked it so far.

The concept of love at first sight never really appealed to me. I could never fathom how can a person fall in love with a complete stranger. That notion just goes above my head. You're right. You can only love a person whom you know properly. You need to know their character, their personality and mindset. Without knowing any of these it would just be a physical attraction or infatuation.

All the angst! I loved it as per usual. Mishti was on point with all that she said, no one is going to ask him for any explanation. It’s always the girl that gets questioned. On the other hand, Abir is not here to explain to any of the wandering eyes. He’s here to explain everything to Mishti because he’s genuinely attracted and wants a second chance. I was imagining everything vividly in my head and that’s the best part and that’s when you know you’re reading a good piece. When all the written scenes are rushing through your head. I'm glad that Abir tried to explain things to her. But I get where Mishti is coming from. Her being pissed off is natural and he should have given her the space she needed. He shouldn't have physically forced her to listen to him. He already messed up big time by what he did on the stage. Now the ball is in Mishti's court. She should get to decide when she want to listen to him or whether she even want to listen or not. The decision is upon her and he should respect that. Or at least let her calm down and be in a state of mind to listen to him.

Mishti's concerns are genuine. Especially after she heard the snide remarks of the nosy Aunties. No one would question Abir. He would go scot-free. The questions and judgments will always be reserved for the girl. She will be judged and her character dissected. And then the entire blame will be put upon her head.

Her last statement made me wonder if she was blamed for her parents' and Aunt's death too. Did people consider her a bad omen or something? That's even more horrible.

At least Abir realized that he should be more patient while dealing with the mess he created. Thank God! Hopefully he will think before he act now.
