Guys honestly I do not understand what is there to bash Kuhu if she is being genuinely supportive of her new family. Why is it that we try to see and understand Kuhu only in terms of how she behaves with Mishti or what she feels about MishBir.
The fandom feels so strongly about the fact that Kuhu should be made to apologize for trying to separate MishBir. Something which wasn't even like trying to separate in the literal sense. All that she wanted was that Mishti stays away from the family because having Mishti around makes Kunal react in a certain extreme manner which she feels could prove to be detrimental for their already fragile relationship. We can debate whether her thinking so is right or wrong though she is only going by what she has herself seen and experienced a number of times.
On that day when they went shopping, on her wedding day, on the Visarjan day.
Am sure with time Kuhu's perspective in that regard would change. She would genuinely try to make amends as and when she feels she needs to.
Moreover for her to be made to feel the burden of a relationship the importance of which was never really explained to her, is quite unfair. Mishti and Abir have no idea what Kuhu goes through in trying to deal with Kunal. BP and BM have no idea either. It is very easy for them to think that they can talk to Kunal and make him understand. But guess it is not so easy after all.
Mishti being with Abir bothers Kunal a lot and makes him react in a hostile manner thus pushing away both Abir and Kuhu. There would surely come a day when we'll see Kunal outgrowing his dislike towards Mishti. But it is something that has to be given time.
The fandom, including me, just cannot digest Kuhu's all of the sudden nice behavior. She was always selfish and that can be seen when she ready to run away with some man when she did not even know whether he likes her back or not. Her being supportive is not herself but a whitewashed and fake version of herself. The way she behaves and feels about Mishbir is a part of her character and hence we need to see her from that perspective. And yes, she definitely needs to apologize. She did try to separate in the literal sense. She even told Mishti she will never let her unite with Abir, and then she did all the nasty work to get them caught for a marriage that is anyways not working. If all she wanted was to keep Mishti away because kunal reacts in a certain way, then she is doing something wrong. Instead of correcting Kunal, she is snatching away someone else's happiness. It is straight right selfish. More than right or wrong, the act was selfish. The way she pushed Mishti from the pyramid, would you call that handling? That was cruel.
Secondly, the problem she is in is because of herself. She lacked thinking and intelligence. She was blind even though everything was in front of her eyes. She should have been cautious like Mishti to demand time to spend with her future life partner, but no, she wanted to run away with someone she barely spent more than a week time with if you count the actual hours they have even interacted. She had a perfect example, such as Mishti, but when Mishti demanded courtship she bullied Mishti. Vishamber asked her if she was purely ready for this relationship and was very hesitant to let her marry. But she was being stubborn and nothing could have convinced her. I do feel slightly bad that Kunal cheated her, but if she was smart enough, she would have known by the way Kunal only talks about Mishti.
All the time can be given, but Kuhu backstabbing and plotting cannot be forgiven. I firstly don't understand why she is fighting for a relationship where there is no mutual understanding or respect. It is pointless. If she truly has self-respect, she should walk out.
All that said, I really do not want to offend you and I am sorry if I came across as harsh or rude. I was just being frank. The thing that bothers me is not that people like Kuhu, that is fine, but convincing others to like and understand Kuhu or kuku is not. I have never seen Mishbir fans trying to ask Kuhu fans to like Mishbir.

Honestly none of the characters have been entirely truthful. When Abir was pressing for Kunal and Mishti's rishta he told a number of lies. Had he been truthful probably the talks would not have reached a point where the engagement got called off on the engagement day. He took his time to assess the situation, took his time to come to terms with his own feelings and then after running away, returned.
Mishti or her family or Abir don't yet consider it worth sharing with Kuhu that why she was called illegitimate publicly on her Haldi day. Abir is not entirely honest to Mishti either because he kept on hiding from her that Kunal had run away on the wedding day even when Mishti admitted to him what Kunal had told her during bidaai.
Kunal is also hiding from Kuhu that that entire plan to trap her was actually that of his Mom and he blindly followed it with the hope that that would help in "saving" his brother from a relationship they do not deem right for him.
The photographs incident is so done and dusted. Kuhu framed Mishti, Mishti held her accountable and put her to task for it. I think that should more than suffice because it was Mishti who was wrongly framed and Kuhu told her whatever she had in her heart honestly even back then. Also it wasn't as if Kuhu kept on trying to deceptively separate MishBir after that. Until recently when she felt the situation demanded she does so because she dreaded how MishBir's relationship would affect her marriage.
Abir is supportive of Kuhu yes, as and when required she is also supportive of him (for instance when she keeps on trying to make Kunal understand that he should learn to value his brother's efforts in trying to making it upto him) She is also there for what is Abir's family first, trying to support them all in the best possible manner she can even though she only recently became member of the family. Yes it isn't necessarily out of love for Abir, because she now considers the family her own too.
Kuhu does not have that self-sacrificial streak where she would want to give up on something or someone dear to her just so that it ensures other's happiness. Kuhu doesn't claim to be that mahaan person either. With time am sure her perspective towards MishBir's relationship would change because unlike Mishti and Abir who show a lot of ignorance towards a lot of matters they shouldn't be ignorant about, Kuhu is rather receptive and well aware of her surroundings and how her actions affect others. That is why we also see her admitting to Jasmeet that we can't stay happy by taking away others' happiness.
Mishbir are anything but ignorant. They know kuku is having a problem and even Abir tried to talk about it with Kunal. But kuku are not babies (at least by age), so they must learn to handle the situation maturely. Handling does not mean breaking someone else's relationship. If Kuhu was truly receptive she would not have done the whole backstabbing in the first place. At least for me, this act of trying to separate two people who are truly in love for herself and kunal where it is just mere infactuation and kiddish love is wrong. If she knew she is not going to be happy, why do it in the first place?
Coz this was the first time Kuhu talked at stretch about her internal conflict regarding her marriage and the hopes she had for relationship with Kunal...

Kuhu: Kehte hain na pyaar andha hota hai, andhi ho gayi hoon main Kunal ke pyaar mein..sach toh yeh hai ki main abhi bhi hope karti hoon ki Kunal ko yeh baat realise ho jaaye ki woh mujhe chod kar bahot galat kar raha hai..
Abir: Tumhe abhi bhi umeed hai?
Kuhu: Umeed? Duniya mein saare problems na issi feeling ki wajah se hota hain..
Abir: Matlab?
Kuhu: Matlab yeh ki kuch relationships hote hi cursed hain, jaise upar se koi daayan type ka shraap ho. Aapko clearly dikh raha hota hai ki sab kuch aapke against hai phir bhi aap hope nahin chodte..aap hope karte rehte ho ki sab cheezein theek ho jaayengi, ho jaayengi..lekin kaise, kaise theek hongi jab rishta hi galat hai. Sorry...
