What you're saying(IN BOLD) is an insult to mothers and motherhood. A mother is born along with the child, Rohit and Armaan have stolen the child and deprived a mother(Ruhi) from her right to a life transforming experience. Children aren't halloween candies a person can be wicked or cruel to the world yet as a mother she's the only qualified person to nurture her child though. So, let's not be blinded by our support for the characters become a reason to support or justifying wrong deeds. Rohit not letting Armaan speak up can only be an excuse, hiding a life changing truth from others involved isn't a character flaw or trivial imperfection it's villainous and amounts to criminal behaviour.

Armaan's attitude of I support only a person at a time and can't balance everything on the basis of right and truth makes Armaan a selfish stupid. Hope the CVs ghosting this forum understand this and make amends ASAP.

Childlessness is real(especially with PCOD and other issues) it's on the rise in women and child swap isn't a solution to that.

I like Rishta because they don't show one person as a totally dark character, but making ML grey with criminality tracks like child swap, hiding truth etc isn't acceptable.

The bigger joke is Ruhi’s own husband not trusting her motherly instincts enough to hand out his child like a piece of Halloween candy. Armaan is a clown for accepting too but Rohit tbh is the bigger fraud why did he hand over his own child. He could have just entrusted Abhira to care for the baby until Ruhi recovers or he could have looked after the baby himself there are loads of helping hand in the house.

He did take the baby from Rohit. He would have said no. Told Abheera the truth, let her see her baby for one last time, greived for her loss.

But No.. he had to steal someone's baby just to keep his pookie happy!!!!

This is more disgusting than Rohit handing over the baby to him.

Being a sensitive person, I watched this serial on & off S1 was totally amazing, S2 no comment(never watched) I began S3 AB & AK initial unspoken love and dedication made me glued. Even then AK stupidity was disturbing though and restarted with the endearing kasauli track. I was initally supportive of AK moving on with Abhinav but was disgusted again with Abhir paternity facts hiding issue and found Abhinav colluding with her to be annoying, surprisingly Abhinav is on par with AK in terms of stupidity lacking cognizance to other's pain and suffering. To me it seems the stupidity of Abhinav and AK has been taken as the main characteristic for Abheera and it surprises me as to how a well educated career oriented girl abheera is cringey, always seeking validation from her in-laws, tries to be a crowd pleasing individual, totally letting go her confidence and beliefs. She lacks the tact, sensibility and sophistication of a well educated, professional woman of today. I think it's better if CVs have decided on the take-away to their audience when designing a character, just to avoid somersaults and brickbats from their audience. I find Abheera befitting a grey character than a FL and her DH Armaan fit to be a grey as well instead of the ML and let the poor little kid deprived of his true mother identity now be made the lead of S5 with all these characters in the side.

Great post! I am not very regular watcher of this show - in fact I started watching a bit after Abhinav's entry in last generation and was totally in love with his bond with his adopted son. So, the main leads of last generation did not matter much though I caught on the backstory (my knowledge is incomplete and frankly a bit biased)- I stopped watching as Abhir being taken away from Abhinav was painful for me being a Mom of adopted daughter.

In this generation I liked Abhira more than everyone else from the beginning though I occasionally hated the mouthiness when she could have stayed aloof and focused on her studies. But she was still endearing. Now I just don't know. Usually we tiptoe around people with such a big loss as we don't know what to say or do to make them feel better - here despite being told not to, Abhira is being super insensitive to someone at the time of an extremely painful loss. If we didn't know Abhira, it would actually look intentionally cruel.

I disliked Armaan's behaviour with Ruhi, how he remained confused and indecisive for so long. He was not a baby to write Shiv Shakti and not understand what that implied, so at least till that point he was completely on board with her. Anyways, I got over my dislike later, partly because it was genuinely difficult to sympathize with Ruhi.

But now when I saw the character last after baby stealing track, all I felt was a deep disgust and hatred for him. Rohit was a victim in the beginning, then a somewhat pitiful character being fooled by his wife, now he has one upped her in being vile. I have lost all enjoyment in this show - lurking on this forum hoping Ruhi gets her child back even if she is thrown out of the house for her earlier mistakes. Don't care about what happens to anyone else and don't have the stomach to continue watching.

Is he seriously a kid? Is rohit putting gun on his forehead? Isn't he a lawyer, older than Rohit? Doesn't he know stealing a kid from the mother even with the so called father's consent is CRIME. If ruhi files complaint against armaan and rohit , both will land in jail. Law won't excuse him by saying 35+ year old lawyer is forced to keep stolen baby. Bfr.

Its sad that people are justifying Armaan's action saying, usne bachha liya nahi.. usse de diya gaya.. and woh mana nahi kar paaya.. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

You misunderstood I am not diminishing Ruhi’s contribution as a mother or disrespecting mothers I am calling out Rohit who just gave away his child and I even called out Armaan for accepting it. Rohit as the father of the baby is the bigger villain then Armaan because he took away his child and didn’t even give Ruhi a chance.

Rohit is bigger villian than armaan. Yes. But ONLY to ruhi. Because her husband's betrayal will affect her more than her ex/BIL's.

But armaan as a human is EQUALLY as despicable as rohit the moment he is happily doing parenting with the stolen baby despite seeing how a mother is crying for her child. There is no ifs and buts. If rohit stopped armaan from saying truth, then it is armaan who almost shouted at rohit when he thought doctor may reveal the truth.

There is a difference between talks and actions. Armaan doing only talks to try to look guilty. No guilty person can smile wholeheartedly & plan about stolen kid's future like he does.

OK, my point is Rohit and Armaan are both culprits in this scandal and neither of them is lesser evil than the other. Sadly our TRP hungry media ignore the plight of childless women but due to rising PCOD problems I'm witnessing many of my near & dear having conception problems and we(mothers) are having to be considerate of this and having to tread our discussions carefully. Because we never know what triggers the already emotionally vulnerable and fragile person. I totally agree for drama they create these tracks but my point is what's the point of calling them leads when they aren't immune to criminal and insensitive behavior.

wahi tho a truthful person wouldn't be complicit in such criminal acts because their moral compass wouldn't allow them to do that. Time to castigate writers for this cruelty, enough of this baby swap drama. Marriage is about women being supported at their most vulnerable moments by the family, what's this drama of hiding facts with family members and men of the house making one-sided decisions, without even taking the other's emotions into consideration.
