I dont get it. Isnt foeticide itself a sin?? So I can say ryt, to avoid that sin to happen only, prenatal gender test is banned here.
Not just a sin this gender based foeticide is even bigger issue then just some moral or legal wrong tbh.
When gender ratio is imbalanced to a very high degree like in China because of One child policy or our own states like Bihar, Haryana etc, crime against women like human trafficking, selling them for marriage, kidnapping, sexual assaults etc also increase ridiculously high.
Patriarchal society have a very weird phenomenon, they want women for their sons to prolong their legacy but won't have daughters in their homes.
I don't know the ratio of that time but when India implemented this law the situation was very delicate, that's why it is considered a very serious offence here.
