In gen 2, Naira was worried about Kartik would react to her pregnancy news (since he didnt want her to be pregnant cause of her brain surgery and its impacts on her health) and kept it to herself for a while. She was terrified of how he’d react and what she would do. She then decorated their room and wrote “We are pregnant” on their mirror to surprise him but somehow he never got to go to the room, this was on her birthday btw. Kartik threw her a surprise party for that where he found out by accident when Naira’s maayke waale pointed it out thst she was pregnant (they had figured it out themselves btw, she didnt tell them). Initially he was shocked, then he was hurt that she didnt tell him first but eventually the joy settled in and they celebrated. All the complications and risk factors were dealt with later. Idk if they are following this plot but if they are, it is most likely that Abhira’s maayka (Ruhi/Goenkas) might be the first to find out.
