I remember my mom keeping all fds closed for my father's treatment and ready to sell her gold too. She didn't take a single rupee from her three kids that's self respect.

Parents always teach ki jitna h usme adjust krne sikho ya aur kamao with respect but never ask for money from someone else.
Even the dressing style should be one that doesn't compromise your comfort zone but needs to be apt for the occasion. There do exist a lot of decent western clothes that she could have been comfortable wearing.
And this is for both men and women.

This is something our parents especially mother's teach us and we teach our kids.
But here akshara who used to move on easily due to life situation and make a living failed to teach her daughter that. And Abhira is putting herself in a dangerous situation all because of the things she treat as her mother's memories
