Here is the second part. This was supposed to be an OS but somehow this chapter came up and I couldn't resist. I want to clear this out here before you guys go ahead with the chapter that I was never a yrkkh viewer. This is the only generation that I am following. I need to confess that I haven't even watched the initial episodes of this gen. Whatever has been written till now was from the understanding I got reading some FF here and the quick forwards of the episodes. So please excuse if you find any differences between this version and the initial storyline of the show. Thanks for reading!

A very livid Manish returned to Goenka mansion. His attempts to convince Ruhi were proving to be futile. He has been trying to get her back to GM since that day. Time and again she proved to him that he had raised a stubborn and immature woman who was once a mature kid in the name of giving her enough love. He was appalled by her blatant admittance that she had driven Abhira away from Armaan and family by disclosing Charu's relationship when Abhira was about to confess her love to Armaan and she would continue to pursue Armaan even when he hadn't even talked to her eye-to-eye post Abhira's withdrawal a month back. At his persistent attempts, she even admitted that Rohith might have left due to this wrenched truth.
Unknown to both of them, Charu heard their conversation. Charu couldn't hide the disgust she felt for Ruhi at that moment. And she didn't hesitate to record their conversation. She was now able to analyze Ruhi's behavior around Armaan. She wasn't blind to not understand that her brother had started to ignore Ruhi whenever he could. Even though she was angry at Armaan for hiding their past during Rohith's marriage, she could understand why he did that. She would begrudgingly accept that even they were responsible for this indebtedness he felt towards the family. She had decided she would expose Ruhi's vileness in front family soon. She had to discuss her next plan of action with co-members of the Chorus gang before taking any impulsive steps.
Unknown to the storm brewing behind her back Ruhi decided to confront Armaan about his behavior towards her. She couldn't understand why anyone was not raising any topic about Armaan-Abhira's divorce proceedings. Without legal divorce, Abhira would always stay as Armaan's wife. And that stung her, what if there is no Divorce? She would never be addressed as Armaan's wife even if he accepted the truth to Kaveri. She hatched a perfect plan, corner Armaan in his study where he spent most of his time nowadays. She lied that Armaan was busy and asked not to disturb him when Vidya asked to summon him for dinner. She meticulously added that she would serve him once he was done with his meeting. True to her words she reached Armaan's study with a dinner tray.
Meanwhile, Kiara guided the chorus gang to Manisha and together they thought it would be better if they revealed everything to Dadisa the sooner the better. When they reached Kaveri's room, Vidya was with Kaveri handing over medicines and Madhav was summoned by Kaveri for some important discussion. As one by one presented their observations and proofs regarding Ruhi, Kaveri couldn't utter a word. As a moment of truth, Charu herself confessed how Abhira wasn't responsible for her relationship with Dev. She stressed out every incident when Abhira had warned her against it. Krish backed her up by pointing out Abhira's kindness to each family member. However, Vidya had zoned out of the conversation the moment she heard Ruhi's confession about Rohith's departure. She felt a deep sense of betrayal towards Ruhi and disappointment towards Armaan. Madhav himself was drowned in guilt when he analyzed why Armaan had hidden the truth. Understanding that the main agenda was side-tracked, Manisha brought the topic back to Ruhi-Armaan asking what should be done. Madhav requested they should first give a benefit of doubt to Armaan's POV before attacking both of them at a time. He was immediately supported by all members except Vidya as they had understood him better in these last 2 months. As Kaveri stormed out to Armaan's study, all they could was follow her.
They were welcomed by the sight they weren't expecting to. When Ruhi entered Armaan's study with dinner, she was ignored yet again. Being the stubborn woman that she was, she pushed her limits and started talking about how the house seemed to be more peaceful even with the underlying currents in Abhira's absence. She very tactically brought up the most anticipated topic, "Divorce". When Armaan started to stare at her with that horrific expression, she lost it completely. She mentioned how she was still waiting to be called as Mrs. Armaan Poddar. That snapped Armaan out of his stupor. He outrightly denied that she would be always Mrs. Rohith Poddar to him. When she started retaliating about how she had married Rohith just because he asked her to, he quickly and rightfully denied so. He stressed that she was the one who went ahead and accepted his brother's proposal when he was out of reach for just 2 days. He even mentioned that he would have never made a girl his bride when she was chosen for his brother by his family. Ruhi's abandonment issues triggered then and there. She started with her classic "How could you replace me with Abhira when you promised me otherwise?". That was when Armaan understood what supported her delusions to date. His promise that no one would take her place came out of a pure intention to give her a special status in his life as an incomplete beautiful memory and ensuring that she was not easily replaceable at that point of time. But to her, it seemed like a flicker of hope to continue their journey. He could now recognize that whenever he reached out to her for any help or advice and to share his life events with her only added up to her hopes. Now he could also figure out that her over-involvement in his marriage with Abhira stemmed from her sense of entitlement in his life. He felt his chest contracting from the amount of guilt he felt and realized that he should clarify this and that's what he did. He cleared out his intentions that he always thought of her as a good friend but never meant to lead her on. That was heartbreaking to Ruhi. She went on and on about how she was right about Abhira trapping him in her love. She out of desperation blurted out that this was what led her to get Armaan-Abhiras's divorce papers when she saw a flicker of love along with protectiveness in his eyes towards Abhira.
Love. That word struck a chord in Armaan. As he started analyzing the void he felt in his life he got it right. He was in love with Abhira. That was the moment he realized the depth of his feelings for her. And to feel that he needed to breathe without the looming shadow of his past, Ruhi. When he turned to walk out of the study to breathe in the solitude of his room, he came face to face with Dadisa and the rest of the family.
