She is a brainless lead. I think the big earrings effected her brain.

Again, what's wrong with being a "feminist lead" ?

there’s nothing wrong with Naira being a feminist lead. In fact that is why we all love her because she’s strong and is not afraid to voice her opinion and always stands up for what she believes is right. However it is the writing and direction that is irritating and the fact that they give all the dialogues to her ...so her presence becomes too much and over powering ...we love her but she needs to be part of the show .Not the whole show itself. The other characters are just pieces of furniture ...they are not given any dialogues and naira says everything so the episodes look like nairas lectures . I’ve watched many shows where we’ve had strong female leads ...and shows where the story of the show was basically about the female lead and her journey but still the supporting characters contributed greatly to the show and together with the female lead lifted the show...but in yrkkh ..even karthik the male lead looks like nairas side kick and a supporting character...these writers really don’t know how to write a good storyline ..even though the current track...is focusing on such a vital social issue..women throughout the world face abuse, harassment, rape, prejudice , and injustice daily..but these writers are not doing justice to this track. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What's wrong with a feminist avatar?

As Indira said, it’s not about her being a feminist but the way it’s portrayed. Actions speak louder than words, so I would rather the scenes be more natural & let the storyline itself send out the message than Naira voicing it out in literally every scene and taking over the entire episode.

Maybe it’s my personal bias but I have always found Kartik more relatable because even when he’s preaching, his dialogues are kept short and to the point, making them more effective. In every day life, you don’t go around lecturing your relatives to show you are fighting for justice 🤷🏻‍♀️.

To an extent, even their looks are off putting. Naira’s current hairstyle with the huge earrings is horrendous and Kartik looks tired and depressed with the stubble.
