BDW it was naira's line to vedike "i promise hum iss shehar se ,aap sab ki life se bahot durr chale jayege". Vedika reiterate her words today. because she knows nobody will accept what she is saying .. that is why she is speaking all this vedika not Kartik and that too alone...

Yaha koi 5 saal pehle se galat karta aya hai or koi 5 din se galat kar raha hai...par sab galat he hai so kisi ko bhi justify nai kiya ja sakta. Sirf galti ki severity dekhi ja sakti hai.

Character chahe kisi ka bura soche ya na soche lekin dusre ki life kharab ho jaye waisi badi badi galatiya to ki he hai.

Seeing the comments made me realise that how a desparate women like vedika can be forgiven but naira as a mother should leave her child because in the first place she left because of her self respect ?

I have seen her saying atleast 2 to 3 times that she wants to go. Everytime she has tried to talk to kairav .. but festivals par festivals are coming.

According to sbs vedika will blame naira for her pain...saying how she is responsible for pain ..as a women she is not understanding the pain of vedika...she fruther says that she wants to come between kartik and her...thus she is using kairav...as a dhaal.... and then she says her to just leave the city and go far away... then naira explains her how she cant take Kairav away but then vedika says something and naira is in shock..thus she runs from the room..also she says that how naira wife ban nhi payi or shyd bani nhi rahi.. or na mujhe banne diya...

I wanted to bang my head listening all this. Vedika has 0 idea about how much naira has done for this family.... and still.....

lol. Vedika did not have an arranged marriage. She met karthik and decided she wanted him..she told everyone that she loves him and expects marriage. Can’t you see. Vedika is a first class. Manipulator ..she went all out and made sure she got the man she wanted ..it didn’t matter that he was dying of grief for his dead wife..and now it doesnt matter that karthik adores his son and can’t live without him.Vedika will still try to get rid of kairav ,.because all She cares about is her happiness. Whatever Naira is ... but that character never thinks bad of anyone and we have seen that numerous times in past...

kArthik married vedika ,.when he thought naira was dead and he didn’t know that he had a son...but that’s all changed now. and he married vedika only because of dadis I’ll health...and his father shouted at him and told him that he doesn’t care about his family. And he was told all the time that vedika loves him and expects marriage. Yes vedika and dadi and the rest of the goenkas basically manipulated karthik, into agreeing to this marriage. But the point now is that vedika should not try to separate kairav from karthik...that is wrong. And karthik needs to make a decision ..either he divorces vedika or let naira live somewhere else ...he can’t have them. Both on the house..but obviously Kairav must be close by for karthik to see him..but that’s besides the point because we as viewers can see karthik loves naira and he doesn’t want to let her go..and vedika can see that too ..that’s why she wants to separate them...

for vedika it was a love marriage ,..she told everyone that she loves karthik and wants to marry him. Remember before they went to Goa.. k dadi told karthik that vedika loves him and was waiting for him for so many years and she expects him to marry her...so if vedika married karthik because she loves him...it was a love marriage for her. But karthik doesn’t love her so for him it was an arranged marriage to please his family and also to fulfil his obligations to vedikas father who died saving him...

As an exercise in pseudopsychology, if we take all three characters at face value, then maybe their actions do have some kind of twisted internal consistency.

Naira is trying to be decent and selfless, but as usual she has not bothered to think through the unintended consequences of her actions. One could also argue she's got the lion share of guilt because with a little bit of rational thought, she could've prevented the entire situation in the first place by letting Kartik know she was alive and had his son when she learned he was getting remarried. She doesn't seem to understand that her telling Kartik this was not the same as her preventing Kartik from getting married/moving on. Her biggest issue has always been the inability to understand that her repeated decisions to withhold difficult facts from people in order to shield them from pain takes away their agency to make an informed choice about their lives and just makes things worse all around. She is the classic misguided do-gooder -her road to hell is literally paved with good intentions.

Kartik ended up in some sort of serious clinical depression and suicidal ideation after Naira's death. No one in his family seemed to realize or acknowledge the extent of his agony. He was driven by guilt and yearning for some human connection to replace what he had with Naira and completely incapable of making rational decisions. Examples - bringing home a strange woman to live with them instead of providing some appropriate restitution for her father's death. Developing a relationship with a strange child based on one phone call and even going to visit him in another town. Agreeing to marry Vedika under pressure and forcing himself to follow through despite knowing he can never love her. Kartik is a classic depressive, overwhelmed by his many problems and unable to take the necessary actions to fix them. That's my take on why he's only focusing on one issue (being a dad to Kairav) and not even trying to resolve the other big problem of having two wives. I don't think his actions with Vedika indicate his acceptance of her/their wedding - he's just going through the motions till he can bring himself to deal with it properly. He does rituals with her but beyond that he does not treat her at all like his spouse - and Vedika knows that, saying if you can't treat me as your wife, at least treat me as a friend.

Based on what we've seen, Vedika is essentially an isolated timid girl who seemed to have no life, family or friends outside of her father (except Dr. Pallavi). She's the classic 'woman in need of a protector' and it makes sense she developed this intense infatuation with Kartik who basically replaced her father as her protector figure. She is clearly terrified at the idea of fending for herself and that fear overrides any half-hearted attempts at doing the right thing (e.g. trying to back out of marriage to Kartik, giving him space to accept her as wife). Now when she sees that she is about to lose not just Kartik but her entire comfort zone of Goenkas and Singanias, she is like a cornered rat, driven by her primal fear and lashing out viciously at the person she perceives as her interloper. Her fear of being alone is what makes her so self-centered and delusional. She literally cannot imagine a life without these people and her trying to commit suicide as a cry for help makes sense to me.

Bottomline - nobody is thinking straight here, not even the writers🤣

Either this character is mad and delusional or she is too smart that she is manipulating the facts so that Naira hates Kartik...

I really want Naira shouldn't fall for her suicide drama and blackamail and clear the facts with family and Kartik before leaving...

OMG i just saw that segment ... chipkali is so delusional and mad . I just hope naira inform kartik about her demands and everything.
