I am extremely disappointed. I wish this article hadn't come out. I was half prepared for the show going off air considering the sudden rapid pace but the uncertainty gave a certain relief that it might not be so and that gave me a new high to watch the show everyday. Now that I know it's going off air, I am gonna watch all the remaining episodes knowing it's going to go which is very sad.
Also, I blame Sony thoroughly for this. Their shows are capable of fetching much better numbers but they ruin all of them themselves. Promotion of a show is important God damn it.
Also, I think the engagement track was going to play out differently but it turned out different. Coz Namit was in Indian clothes in the promos and Instagram stories and everything. The yellow and orange kurta. And now he's in a suit. And I also saw Palak in the same engagement outfit this Sunday when they celebrated someone's birthday.
I think they re-shot they engagement so it could end logically. Otherwise the engagement was supposed to happen is my strong, strong, gut feeling. Or something else was supposed to happen to stop the engagement. Not Siddhant confessing his feelings.
I am relieved that the track is not getting ruined and it's maintained well. And I think, the credit goes to the writers for writing in such a way, that a sudden wrap and rush isn't screwing up with the logic of the show.
They dropped hints about various things right from the beginning. So now even if they have rushed with KK's murder confession, it seems to be pretty much in flow.
It's possible that Uday has learnt a lesson from EKDV days of not trusting Sony completely and being half prepared for something like this which is great.
However, I only wish they'd picked this pace earlier. If they'd picked it earlier, they could have shown a lot more in the same duration that it's ending. I am not saying it's bad now or it was bad then..but if they had speedened up before, we could have gotten more of the story..
Obviously, if a 180 episode story is going to be shortened by 70 odd episodes, there's a lot of stuff we'd be missing.
Why can't they continue as a web series? They'd have greater freedom for their creative calls on the web, and definitely more people would watch and going by the new pace, I think they can cover the entire show in 140 episodes.
Also, I feel pathetic, pathetic for Namit Khanna, coz of all of them, in my opinion his role has been most challenging, in terms of the character. And I commend his acting. He's worked crazy hard for this and I really really want him to get his dues in the industry. I know what happened with Namik Paul, he got a new show but idk, he deserves far, far better man
I pray Namit gets his due coz he is hardworking and that's damn obvious. Even Palak said that.
Also, I guess if they'd given more time, it would have been sufficient for the industry as well as the audience to know thay they have potential, and time for them to grow as actors. Thete are axtors who have improved tremendously from their first few months on the same show.
I am so disappointed, I don't feel like doing anything today, just sit and mope it's over. Bloody Sony. I hate them.
