Canvas ready, make-up pro Abhijit Chanda started on her eyes. A brown palette was used to create a semi-smokey effect. Lots of mascara on both her lash lines opened up her peepers. Peachy-pink blush was swept across the apples of her cheeks for a healthy flush. For the mouth, it was a creamy coral lipstick. A braid skimming her forehead created a romantic headband. Result? Vicky Donor's Ashima Ray loved what she saw in the mirror!
Sometimes solid colours speak louder than the busiest of prints. To complement Yami's petite frame, we chose an emerald green maxi (Promod, Forum Courtyard). The maxi is minimal in style, and since it's not too long it's a great length for the day. A plunging neckline and braided straps accentuate the simplicity.
Beads and baubles were bypassed for gorgeous gold — we settled for a pair of intricate chaandbaalis from Gaja Heritage Tangerine. Check. Cotton. Check. Summer blazer. Check. This piece of beauty (Promod, Forum Courtyard) ticks off so many trends!
Coupled with a sequinned vest in a neutral beige (Promod), it is a great mix of colours and textures.
These linen shorts in bright turquoise (by Abhishek Dutta) is a versatile summer separate. Teamed with a basic white shirt or played up with some colour like Yami did, this is a season's must-have.
Forget five-inches. Forget flats. These shorts are super sexy with comfortable canvas wedges (Aldo, Forum Courtyard). The colour is basic and it balances the happy hues on Yami. The tie-ups make it all the more interesting.
