Honestly I am happy they brought this twist. This way, Mahima coming back from dead makes more sense. In her sob version, there were so many loopholes such as how could Preesha now have cremated Mahima’s body, why did Mahima contact Rudr and not Preesha etc. Now everything can be reasoned out because Mahima has been acting all this while. Mahima wanted to usurp Khurana properties but failed. She didn’t wanna be burdened with the responsibility of a child and hence she faked her death. All of this makes a lot more sense now honestly.

But I wish they hadn’t brought her back at all. I would’ve liked to think that Mahima was as much a victim of her circumstances as Rajeev was of his.
