So based on clips on Instagram and the updates provided in this thread, Saaransh has already started calling Mahima "mumma" and "supermom." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Do these writers have no inkling about how a child's mind works? Do you really think it takes only a few days for a child to accept someone else as a parent figure? No, my friend. It takes months and years to build that relationship for a child to give a third person the place of a parent. Even in that case, the third person usually gets called by a name that hasn't been used for the parents. And yes, in this scenario, Mahima is a third person even though she has given birth to Saaransh. Preesha is the only parent that Saaransh has known all his life. Rudra came in later. So naturally, he has to be the most attached to and dependent on Preesha. I might even get it if he gave his and Mahima's relationship some thought and decided to call her Amma, because only Preesha could be his Mumma and supermom. I mean, think about it. Saaransh hasn't even called Rudra "papa" after all these months (which I am happy with, don't get me wrong) but Mahima got the title of "mumma" in only a few days? I don't say this because I am biased towards Preesha. I say this because I know (to some extent) how a child's mind works when he/she has to deal with welcoming another parent figure in his/her life, be it a step-parent or a long lost biological parent.

Honestly, it's hard to root for even Preesha or Rudra in this situation. Pree is just acting stupid and like a pushover and Ru just keeps getting angry at every. single. thing. These two are acting like how Ishita and Raman did during the last few years of the show when their characters were utterly degraded. I didn't think Pree and Ru's characters would get so botched this early in the show.

And someone explain to me this: before he got injured, Saaransh was running from the house repeatedly and then stealing money to send Mahima away, but now that he's all better (which took about a few weeks I'm guessing), Mahima is super mom all of a sudden? Why, because she got him dressed for school a couple times and gave him medicine in his cookies? Lol, kids grow up around many adults besides their parents -- like teachers, aunts, uncles, and grandparents -- but none of them get the place of the parent. Especially if the parent is as loving and devoted as Preesha. I've spent a lot of time with my grandparents, aunts, and uncles who have gotten me dressed as a child or have fed me food with their hands, but that doesn't mean they can take the place of my parents. Conversely, I've spent a lot of time with and have pampered my younger cousins, nieces/nephews, and children of family friends, but noone is eager to call me mumma. What tomfoolery is this???
