Star Plus will be breathing a sigh of relief today after new fiction ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ got off to a good start in UK ratings, after it replaced sister show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ last night.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ attracted a respectable 52,700 viewers at 19:30 – making it the No.1 show across all Asian TV channels on Thursday. It was followed by ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 45,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:00 with 35,900 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 34,100 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 32,800 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:00 with 32,600 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 6,700 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 22:30 with 5,000 viewers, ‘Namah’ at 18:30 with 3,800 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 3,400 viewers.


2nd Episode


On Star Plus, new show ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ stayed top with 53,700 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 44,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 32,300 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 31,800 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:00 with 30,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 22,800 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 16,000 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 11,000 viewers, ‘Namah’ ended with 2,800 viewers at 18:30 and ‘Nazar’ at 22:30 with 1,700 viewers.


3rd Episode


On Star Plus, ‘Sanjivani’ took the lead with 77,500 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Chahtein’ at 19:30 with 51,800 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:30 with 36,300 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 27,000 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 25,900 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 22,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 20,600 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 15,200 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 22:30 with 6,700 viewers. The re-run of ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 23:00 pulled in 8,800 viewers.


4th Episode


On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ led with 43,100 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 32,100 viewers, ‘Nazar’ at 20:30 with 31,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:30 with 30,100 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 23,300 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 20,800 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 15,900 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 14,000 viewers.

Well the parent show YHM had been No1 in the UK for ages now. So audience might have tuned into YHC out of their habit of watching YHM at that slot. Anyway, the ratings for upcoming episodes will tell the full story.
